Harts Coffee House & Deli in Leeds

Called for the first time today for late breakfast . Passing through on our way home from York to Steeton nr keighley. Had toasted t cakes and coffee . I also bought a t away for my dinner . Quiche and a fabulous salad inc new potatoes . All absolutely delicious , first class . First food which was fresh , good quality and excellent service given. We will definitely be calling again.

Visited Harts on Friday with my daughter and the food was so good! Fresh inspired and delicious! Cakes were the best ever! Had feta and filo pie with salad and lemon drizzle cake!

Visited yesterday for a business lunch and was pleasantly surprised how good this place was. Very friendly and attentive from excellent staff, from the lovely lass that served the counter, the guys beavering away preparing food to the excellent scottish accented table lady - and then the food was served up which was delicious (hummus ciabattas). Hard to fault, thanks guys

Today was the 2nd time we’d stopped at Harts for breakfast in a week. We had to make sure that our wonderful first time experience wasn’t a fluke 😊. And they didn’t disappoint! Harts is an absolute gem. From the decor, to the staff, food and location - it’s a real treat. My wife had the Avocado Benedict and I had the English breakfast (as I had the first time). Both were beautifully presented, fresh ingredients and amazing to eat. Harts is truly an asset to the wonderful village of Boston Spa. It’s an absolute MUST try! We can’t wait to go back again.

My husband and I came off the A1(M) on our journey south from Elgin Scotland to Norwich. We were delighted to find the beautiful little town of Boston Spa and the wonderful Harts Coffee House and Deli. We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious and wholesome lunch . The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food and drinks were of a very high standard. We will definitely stop here again. Highly recommend.

A great place to stop off for a spot of lunch when you are travelling on the A1, just a couple of minutes drive away. We stopped for lunch on our way back from Scotland. The food choice was good, came quickly, was well cooked and reasonably priced. Good coffee too. Recommended.

Disappointed as we all had sandwiches and they have a limit rule and coffee only was 60 but with food 90 minutes and we were rudely told we had stayed our time after 60 mins and we had all had two coffees each sandwich and cake and told the 90 min rule was for meals. They were 5 in the party and I think 2 coffees each sandwiches and cake was a meal. Won’t return and won’t recommend

We had a lovely visit. The food was delicious with plenty to choose from and the deserts were amazing. What made this even better were the staff. Friendly and very attentive. We will be back to sample more.

This is one of the loveliest deli’s I have been to. Everything about it is enjoyable! The staff are ever so friendly and I have never been disappointed by the food or drinks. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about it, the environment is very enjoyable and it is a lovely space that they have created.

A great little gem , great food and a forever evolving menu always something new and different to try . From walking in the counter catches your eye , if it's the healthy option deli salads or the great selection of cakes and treats something for everyone washed down with great coffee. We can personally recommend the afternoon tea , this was done for a takeaway family event and was greated with great reviews from guests. Staff always friendly and attentive. Highly recommended

We go to harts a lot when they are open but this was our first time going since the covid outbreak. Absolutely delicious afternoon tea prepared for us for Valentine’s Day to enjoy at home! A perfect alternative whilst we’re in lockdown and brought joy to us both as a couple! Everything was wrapped up so neatly and collection was kept safe. The amount of food you get for the price you pay is incredible! So much so we couldn’t eat it all! Had to save some for coffee and cake time later! As a teacher this was the perfect pick me up after a hard half term and cheered me right up! Thank you harts! We’ll be back for more! Over the last year during lockdown we’ve had lots of takeout food and hot drinks from Harts - including the most amazing Christmas Eve brunch box which was lasted us until Boxing Day and was full of all sorts including home made granola, croissants, yoghurt, fruits, smoked salmon, home made bread. This week it was my daughter’s 8th birthday and with just a few days notice they made up 5 personalised lunch boxes for her friends with milkshakes, sandwiches, home made brownies and other nibble bits. They were lovely and again the food was delicious. Really cannot recommend highly enough for amazing food, coffee and great service. Just lucky they are on our doorstep!

What a lovely friendly little place this is! Finally somewhere that can make a hot chocolate, and a fabulous bacon sandwich! The hot chocolates were finished with marshmallows and cream and the bacon sandwich was on lovely soft white bread and the bacon was crispy! The staff were the friendliest people ever, warm and bubbly with big smiles all round! What more could you ask for! We will definitely be returning for more!

Had the smoked haddock chowder today, and it was a taste sensation - fabulous, fresh, and filling! Such a generous portion too - great value for money.

This is the second time I have visited this establishment, although last time it was about a year ago. The first time I ate here I was most impressed and was praying my second visit was just as pleasurable which indeed it was. The quality of the ingredients used is far superior to what is generally used in most cafes. I had the home made giant sausage roll which was made using superb quality sausage meat which had real taste and flavour. The puff pastry was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispiness and no soggy bottom! The sausage roll was served with a selection of their wonderful salads from the deli counter. Not just the usual cucumber, lettuce and tomato, but a wide and interesting variety. Rice, edamane beans, quinoa, curried cauliflower, home made coleslaw and fresh greenery. Absolutely delicious and perfectly served. The other diner had smashed avocado on sourdough bread topped with a poached egg. The bread had a lovely flavour and the egg was a beautiful deep yellow coloured yolk that actually tasted of egg. To finish off I had the white chocolate and raspberry cake, which not only looked fantastic, but tasted amazing. The sponge was light and moist and filled with a rich fragrant jam and covered in just enough white chocolate not making it too sickly. I found ALL the staff to be polite, efficient and professional. Covid 19 measures were put into place and the waitress was wearing her mask and she took our names for her track and trace records. All in all we both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and are thrilled to have found this little gem, can't wait to re visit you again in the near future. Love this cafe! the service is excellent, and the food absolutely delicious. Take away or eating in is equally good. It’s got a lovely feel to the place, really nicely decorated and very clean. Everyone is very friendly, they allow dogs in and are very inviting to children of all ages. During lockdown they have pulled out all the stops to cheer us up...delivering beautifully presented, high quality food and treats, and opening the ‘hatch’ for the most amazing ice creams we’ve ever seen! We had a really special afternoon tea to celebrate the end of Home schooling 2020... it came in a gorgeous personalised crate, with loads of yummy food. Thank you to all at Harts for everything you have done for our little community over lockdown.

As gift I had afternoon tea for two delivered to us during lockdown. Over the years I have had numerous afternoon teas and I have to say this is by far the best. I can’t criticise any of it. The finger sandwiches were gorgeous, lots of choice and freshly made with really good quality fillings. The homemade quiche was to die for and the desserts were absolutely delicious. Everything was beautifully presented. We enjoyed it so much I ordered for myself and a friend a couple of weeks later. Again everything was just perfect.

First visited Harts around 2 years ago with my young family the service was brilliant and they were so accommodating for our 2 young children , the food was a hit all round .... fast forward 2’years to our current lockdown and I wanted to suprise my family with a lovely treat to lift there spirits , I looked to Harts who were offering a very pretty and delicious looking afternoon tea , I had this delivered to two different addresses ,Harts were so accommodating once again and pulled out all the stops to amaze my family with truly much needed Afternoon Tea , they came presented on a lovely box , with plenty to be had with a collection of Fresh homemade sandwiches and wonderful and tasty cakes and deserts ... My Nana was one of the lucky recipients and commented on how lovely it was and even had enough for round 2 the next day ! A 5 star hit from my family and myself , so much so I have arranged a surprise delivery Of afternoon tea for the men for Fathers Day which looks amazing ! The most delicious and top quality sandwiches, quiche, cakes and scones all freshly made. They went above and beyond to make my Mum’s day special, going out of their way at such a difficult time. Super friendly staff with first class communication, their attention to detail is incredible. This business is an absolute Yorkshire gemstone. Harts have been absolutely amazing during lockdown. I cannot recommend their delivery service enough. The menu changes each week, delivery is always great, dropped off with a safe distance. We have visited Hart’s a number of times recently during “lockdown” to collect takeaways. Absolute hats off to Katy & Linda who have very quickly adapted and diversified without losing the personal touches that sets Hart’s out from the rest.

I visited with 4 friends for afternoon tea and we weren’t disappointed. It was one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had, and I’ve had a few. A great place and ambience, not too small not too big, friendly and attentive staff who nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of savoury’s on the afternoon tea and not just sandwiches and also a great selection on the sweet section, with amazing mini cheesecakes and all homemade. We were outfaced and all took a doggy bag home! I also bought 2 of the Easter egg cheesecakes and these went down a treat. Well done girls, a place, a menu, food and service to be proud of. A great selection too on the main menu and all very reasonably priced.

This is the first time I have visited this establishment as it formally used to be called Moo. They were complete amatuers and had NO idea about food. What a difference from Moo, these proprietors really know not only how to cook food, but provide excellent good quality ingredients to boot. The menu has an excellent choice of imaginatively prepared dishes, that not only taste amazing, but look fantastic and appetising. I found ALL of the staff to be courteous and polite, despite what other negative things other people have put in the other reviews! This cafe is superb and the prices of the dishes are very reasonable. If this eatery was in Harrogate you would expect to pay at least 20 percent more for this quality. I shall certainly be paying a return visit to sample the other delicious food on offer.

Harts is a friendly cafe serving delicious home-cooked food made from quality ingredients. There is always an exciting array of daily specials and plenty of home-baked treats. They serve great coffee at a good price. This place is a little gem in the village!

So cute and quaint. Food was lush! The service and surroundings were so welcoming. Would defos recommend.
