Fui a ver a mi mamá para tomar un café y el caballero detrás del mostrador habló con nosotros y tener un poco de charla. Tenía un nervio atrapado y me ofreció un paracetamol para ayudar con el dolor y como siempre el café es fantástico. Siempre un gran lugar para visitar.

Recommended by two of our sons, we had a most enjoyable evening at Pairings in York, with great wine and food. Our sommelier Ellie, was exceptionally knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic about both the wines and the food. She gave us really great insights into both which enhanced the whole experience at Pairings. Highly recommend and we really hope to return in the not too distant future. We only wish there was a Pairings restaurant nearer to where we live. Thank you so much!

The smallest house in York but incredible cakes, scones, tea etc. The owners/staff are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the visit.

La más amable de las bienvenidas para las personas y los perros, con café y bollería bellamente hechos consistentemente. El ambiente es acogedor y relajado y es un hermoso lugar para tomar café, ya sea que se siente a ver el mundo pasar o tomar una comida para llevar en el camino. Recomiendo encarecidamente el café con leche de avena, mi marido delira con los cruasanes de almendra. Nos encanta que no necesite reservar una mesa y walk ins son bienvenidos. Es un paraíso para paseantes y corredores de perros y un lugar popular en el barrio debido al café seriamente bueno, el ambiente encantador y es el lugar perfecto para el brunch comunitario. Amor hay música en vivo y los temas y decoraciones de Halloween y Navidad siempre son divertidos🙂

Deliciosos e interesantes vinos - servicio encantador también. Muy recomendable. No comí allí, pero el menú se ve muy bien. Votm era delicioso

Absolutely lovely little place! We went for breakfast on Sunday morning and my partner (who is coeliac) thought we would really struggle to find anything for him, however this wasn’t the case. The food was incredible as well as the drinks. (I had a Lavender frappe and loved it!) The staff were wonderful and knowledgeable. No negatives at all, we will definitely be back next time we visit York :)

Cocktails around £10 per head. Lots of seating in a modern setting with lots of tropical / botanical themed decor. Extensive drinks menu with a cocktail list with a good mix of the classics you’d expect and their house special recipes. The blood orange spritz was particularly good. I asked for a negroni sbagliato. Which is off menu but there was confusion into what it was and I told them the variant recipe of the standard negroni (which was on the menu). It came out very tasty but made me nervous if you wanted an off menu cocktail. Service was quick staff were easy to get orders from and you paid as you go. Music was a bit loud but would go back due to the quality of drinks.

Unfortunately, the cafe was not open on the day we could visit but we picked up a Cat Trail leaflet to follow one evening. It was SO enjoyable and took us all around the city. Thanks.

Would have given 5* but we think they overcharged us, we had mushrooms/tomatoes on toast £8.50 and sausage bacon sandwich £6.50. tea and Americano and got charged over £27 so we paid over £12 for coffee and tea😳😳. Saying that the breakfast was very tasty and staff were wonderful and helpful. Just check before you pay as we didn't .

Went there at about 12:45, got sat down straight away, highly recommend the egg, avocado and salmon waffle and the full English. Absolutely gorgeous food, the staff were fantastic and for the price it was worth it. Going to make this a weekly thing

I visited Brew & Brownie during a quick day trip to York, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. With “brownie” in the name, I obviously had to go for a brownie and coffee — and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Rich, gooey, and perfectly paired with a smooth cup of coffee. A friend of mine recently visited York and I recommended it to her too — she loved it just as much as I did. The place has such a charming design, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Great vibes, great people, great treats. What more could you ask for? Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in York!

No teníamos una reserva, pero encontraron una mesa para nosotros en el acogedor comedor de abajo. La vajilla era hermosa. Me llamó la atención nada más sentarnos. Todas las piezas artesanales tradicionales de Polonia. El personal fue muy amable y ofreció sus consejos sobre bebidas y platos. Pedimos pierogi, golabki y placek, con algunas cervezas recomendadas. Todo estaba delicioso. Estábamos tan llenos al final, que desafortunadamente no teníamos espacio para ninguno de los postres increíbles. También hacen un desayuno, aunque todavía estamos demasiado llenos de la cena para considerarlo!
