Low prizes, a tasty and wide variety of chocolate (flavours, drinks, sweets). The staff is very polite and kind. Definitely five stars! 🥰

Opposite the Museum Gardens, Cocoa Joes offer a wide range of hot chocolates…whether you prefer white, milk or dark. No powders here, they’re all made from actual chocolate buttons, and you can try them first to gauge the flavour! Who doesn’t like nibbling on choccy buttons?! I went for Java, apparently a bestseller and said to taste like drinking Malteasers. Creamy and delicious, and the toasted marshmallows were the icing on the cake - giving a slight crunch like a Crème Brûlée topping. Of course, you can also add whipped cream and other toppings. What I like about Cocoa Joes is that they do a fantastic hot chocolate, without being pretentious or overly expensive. It’s a hot chocolate lover’s dream, and well worth a visit! Hot chocolate is one of my favourite beverages, so I brought a friend here to give it a try. The server allowed us to taste some of the different chocolates to help us choose, which was kind. I couldn’t decide between Peru and Ruby, so I got Peru as a drink and the latter in a Button Bag to take away and make at home. They also offer student discount!

Excellent service, delicious drinks, lovely ambience. I would definitely recommend! Went with my brother and my nieces for an afternoon choc drinks treat, celebrating my eldest niece's birthday. The male staff member who served us was very knowledgeable about chocolate and really kind. Thanks for a lovely after Coco Joe's :)
