Five out of five I had a flight of excellent soups. Perfect for this cold weather. The soups were mushroom, cauliflower, minestrone, and clam chowder.

Today we had a small family gathering at the Riverhead( a group of 9 of us) From the moment I called to see if it was possible that we could book a table to accommodate us, Nic & Sarah couldn’t have been more helpful. The service was first class, friendly, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much for them, catering for gluten free, vegetarian and the food was fresh, tasty and delicious. We decided, in advance to have a variety of sandwiches and little cakes which was served on lovely platters for us to share, accompanied by lovely freshly infused tea and coffee. The atmosphere was just lovely and it was perfect for us, I can highly recommend Riverhead coffee in Cleethorpes. The best value hands down. Thank you so much, see you again in the Summer Lisa x

Well you can tell they are closing down tomorrow! Thought we’d treat ourselves to breakfast. Although we booked by email when we got there the lady said oh I haven’t opened my emails! Breakfast came! I asked for no beans but nothing extra to make up for them, my husbands bacon was so well done it had bits of black underneath we had 1/2 a cherry tomato each & this is were it’s really bad! Asked for white toast instead of coming on a separate plate it was already ‘buttered’ & so pale it had hardly seen a toaster! We then thought we’d take a cake home with us no selection like before so we asked for a slice of cheesecake & we got a piece so small was hardly big enough for one person!! We never got asked if everything was ok!! We certainly won’t be going to the new shop in cleethorpes!!!

A fairly short review… They do an amazing caramel hot chocolate and the breakfast rolls were spot on! Dog friendly and very friendly staff. Plenty of choices for both food & drink.

Must of been a bad day today but food was uncooked staff were calling customers that complained. Dont think they understand we can hear them from behind the counter. Made it very awkward. Fella behind serving has no customer service very rude. Servers look very unclean and have the essence of a dustbin. Poor woman with short spicky hair looked frazzeled.But hey ho the sausages were nice and at least cooked but left me feeling stressed to say the least. Not for me!!!! Hopefully better day tomorrow. Face it, it couldnt get any worse dont let yourselves down. P.s could do with a good clean.

Venue is clean, light and comfortable with a conducive atmosphere . The hosts were exceptionally pleasant and attentive. The food was wonderfully well presented and was some of the tastiest that we had encountered in some time. Well done to all involved and thank you for an exceptional dining experience.

Beautiful clean building, lovely reception from the staff who were friendly and inviting despite dealing with difficult customers who didn’t appreciate the meal of the day. Value for money and tasty food.

Such a lovely coffee shop in the heart of Cleethorpes. We popped in with our family and dog today and really enjoyed how cosy and friendly it was. Great coffee and a full range of food options available. With it being dog friendly it is a bonus and this will now be our go-to place to stop for a drink on our dog walks!

Pre booked a table of 13 for an evening meal at 7pm last Friday . Most of the party had travelled from various parts of the UK to attend a family function the following day . The majority choose the Haddock and chips with mushy peas which was superb, the scampi and burgers also rated very highly . They even do dessert to takeaway and the spotted dick and custard was delicious .

We have always enjoyed coming here these past two years, but today we were disappointed. We both agreed the prices had gone up, staff really didn’t want to be engaged in conversation (shame) £12 nearly for two coffees and a small muffin and a thin piece of cake…….🤔 Sad to say it will be a while before we go back

Great and friendly pub, drinks were cheap on the day we went (Monday) and, as a result, the place was pretty busy.
