Staff were brilliant, friendly and nothing was too much for them. Thank you Kye and Dylan for making my husband Steves birthday special.

Lovely food. My wife had halloumi kebab which had massive chunks of halloumi and to die for fresh home cooked chips. Burger was delicious too. Would definitely return

Great cocktail bar in town.just had one drink though .although it was a nice cocktail,I think £9 is expensive for a town. When other cocktail bars are doing offers like 2 for £12(like blonde toast)in cleethorpes for example.

The atmosphere is fantastic, we loved the mock tails and food. The reason we have removed two stars is down to our waitress, we didn't catch her name she's small in height and has a mole/beauty spot on her cheek. She was nice at the start, but at the end she was condescending towards me and my daughter, she rolled her eyes, was rude and abrupt, came across extremely arrogant and her mask slipped. It's a shame she has let the place down with her poor attitude and lack of customer service skills, I believe people with an over inflated ego should avoid a customer based career as it can put others off coming back.

Absolutely lovely place and the staff are all lovely ... especially Dillan ☺️ .. went in for a few with an old school friend, before heading back over to Ireland 🇮🇪 the next day! Beautiful bar 👌🏽

Was quite disappointed, usually love coming here aswell. Booked for food and drinks but when we turned up for our booking was told we couldn’t be served food as they are too busy in the kitchen, and was told to sit by the window as there was no food tables available, even though we had booked. Was waiting a long time for drinks and seemed like an inconvenience to staff. Shame as usually have a nice time here.cocktails were lovely just a shame about everything else

Took over an hour to get a drinks order, had to ask multiple times for service when it should of been natural, Had a drink smashed and spilt all over one of us, was given complimentary drinks but the glass had a piece missing and cut there lip, food was mid, diddnt have most food items we asked for

Honestly THE BEST CHEESEBURGER IVE EVER EATEN. Ever. Amazing place, walk in Friday night, lovely cocktails and friendly staff with a lovely atmosphere. Pricing is great too. Will be back ASAP

Very nice place for cocktails and food. The staff are very polite and professional. The cocktails are very good with a great selection. There is a shuffle board upstairs, too. There is a more formal dress code, so don't rock up in your trackies.

A very VERY beautiful bar and restaurant with a wonderful and unique atmosphere. It is loud but I think that adds to it honestly. Toilets are clean, food was AMAZING and DELICIOUS. I will go again

Ahhh love this place. Atmosphere is always cozy and friendly. Nice clientele here too. Range of cocktails are banging. No it's not cheap here but definitely worth paying a little extra so ultimately it is value for your money. In the evening there is a carpark behind Abbeygate that you can use for free so it's only a minutes walk away. Nice staff, nice atmosphere. Well worth a visit

Nice decor but not very attentive staff, felt a bit like an inconvenience to the waiter, the man behind behind the bar making the cocktail was more pleasant though. Food was ok but deep fried. Guess it's ok if your town doesn't have many restaurants to choose from but personally disappointed. To be honest the waiter was great to other tables but as they were all young pretty blonds felt I should have rang daughter to join us might have been more attentive! The drinks all came at different times, no cutlery for main course and main was missing bits from the course, No water on table and not even how is everything guys can I get you more drinks ect very poor service We spent £190 on 4 people but wouldn't say it was worth it! We left a £18 tip as our son didn't want to be embarrassed by not doing so but no thank you.. was quite a rude atmosphere to be honest shame!

Was told we cannot sit on big sofas as they were reserved nobody turned up at all in the time we was there for 4 cocktail. One of which was a dirty martini and it was the worse drink I've ever been given. The staff seemed mildly cocky I didn't like the atmosphere and the drinks well over priced . I didnt eat food.

Great places to have a drink, has very interesting cocktails, each one is impressive to see they are all a true spectacle and taste fantastic. Upstairs has shuffleboard tables to rent by the hour. Fun to play they have instructions on the wall if you are unsure how to play. The staff are friendly I will return very soon. If you're curious about going to the curious cat go and have a cocktail you won't be disappointed.

The food here is great (I absolutely recommend the burgers out of anything) and they offer an excellent selection of mocktails and cocktails! Even though I only really prefer a coke zero, I couldn't see anyone going wrong in coming here!

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered vegetarian food but I got meat food, and the last thing that makes this the worst experience is that I have been charged for the wrong food as well, and they don't even know to remove the dish. even I don't receive complimentary food or even a price discount.

Called in for drinks. Unbooked. So directed to two arm chairs. Not the most friendly welcome. Arm chairs looked half eaten. First thing that greats you.. a beaten up picked at armchair! Sat down.. looked at menu for drinks.. and got covered in filthy, sticky food and drinks on the menu and table. Complained.. and was told they would be over soon to clean it. At that point we left and enjoyed a clean, fun night in Old Lloyd's. Sadly... won't bother going here anymore. Use to be a regular too.

Lovely staff and food. Was very nervous at first but the staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Drinks menu (including cocktails) was insane I will admit. They had some drinks on there that I did not expect but appreciated. Cocktails were very unique, my partner was infatuated with the choices. Food menu was great, not too much but not too little. They didn't try and have everything but it felt like they had just enough. My burger was perfect and the handmade chips are the best I've had. My partner had the creamy lemon chicken and it was to die for. 100% recommend, their opening times are very good if you want to pop after work.

Lovely cocktails and the staff are very attentive and knew what to recommend.

Very disappointing, had table booked for 6.45 arrived half hour early, were placed at the table in the window until out table became available, unfortunately they forgot about us and we no longer had a table and we're directed to Pal, not my choice although the staff were amazing.

Atmosphere is something completely different, decor as remarkable as the service, been going here since it opened, glad to see it survived covid, this place is a notch above the rest in this town and the food is out if this world.

Interesting place with interesting drinks but do feel its on the pricey side but guessthe local chavs wouldn't be seen in there so take that as a win

We have visited the bar a couple of times now for drinks and unfortunately have found the place disappointing. On the plus side, the decor is lovely, music good but the service isn't very good and I had the worst cocktail I have ever had. (Cosmopolitan with an air bubble). As the bar largely promotes cocktails it maybe a good idea to train staff to make them to a good standard? Not sure if I will return..........

Need to book in advance, no good going at short notice as it seems impossible to get in. Unless you only want a drink then they seem quite happy to accommodate you.

Wonderful place, the quality of the food was awesome but the best are Boris and Ana. They were so kind and helpful. Highly recomended

Here on 30/10/21, my wife and I on our 5th anniversary, with our kids. Absolutely out of this world, staff fantastic, food amazing, atmosphere brilliant, cocktails sublime, Boris looked after us brilliantly, he was helpful, insightful and funny.

Fantastic service, we had a large group come in for afternoon tea to celebrate an upcoming wedding and these guys were absolutely amazing, went above and beyond with their service and made it a really special night for the bride to be. The food was absolutely delicious and we had a great night! Would definatly recommend!

Second to none IMHO in Grimsby, nicely sophisticated without any hairs and graces, a place for good behaviour and impeccable manners and theyll serve you all day with a a warm smile and welcome..WARNING.do your shopping first, as its within reach of hiugher end shops :) Always drop in for a higher quality glass when Im passing.

Great little gem in the middle of grim Grimsby. Cocktails were mediocre but food was yummy, lovely little salad with Stilton and walnuts. Friend had some halloumi fries and they were good.

From start to finish, great place to go. Vast array of cocktails to choose from, many items on the menu, even with the reduced covid menu! We opted for the deli boards so we could have a good mixture, and we were not disappointed. It was amazing! The service was quick, the staff were great, very polite and helpful, the atmosphere was good, even with the covid precautions! They give you an hour and half slot, but that was plenty of time, didn't feel rushed Got! Got a bit warm, but they put the air con on which soon sorted that! Looking forward to going back to try the Sunday afternoon tea menu!

The very best mushroom risotto ever! Busy, a little slow on service. No one asked if we wanted a desert. Reasonable prices. Definitely revisit

Without a doubt the nicest bar in town. We popped in for a late lunch and were tempted into more than one cocktail as they are just that good. The food was excellent too - I’ve already booked a return visit!

Having enjoyed dining at The Curios Cat many times. I was really looking forward to trying the take away service and I have to say, it was fantastic! Top notch as always. Highly recommendable.

Booked a table date night,Very good staff fast service for food i had bbq pulled pork burger and wife had chicken skewer fantastic cood all round wife enjoyed 2 diffent cocktails and i had docks beer never say die that i have had in a can before so i thought i would try it in a pint but £5.75 i was like...ok but it just tasted as bad as docks beers cans i have now gave up on there beer theres far better out there i left half of it and i orderd a blue moon insted stick to that if you want a good beer on there selection avoid the docks beers other than that thanks for a great night

What can I say! We have always loved the curious cat , the cocktails, food and service have always been amazing and they have done it again ! Its fair to say the collection service was awesome and well worth a look. The food was hot, tasty and just as good as in the restaurant and the cocktails well they need no introduction .

Meeting with friends for lunch we experienced a superb dining event. A very different take on traditional English dishes which will delight the taste buds. If you haven't been yet, you must try it.

An interesting bar / restaurant, watched over by a stern, aristocratic-looking moggie, depicted in oil on canvass in a massive portrait on the front wall. The bar serves interesting cocktails and also some locally brewed beers. We had a quick lunch here and found the service to be welcoming and helpful, even though they were perhaps a bit pressed and could have done with an extra pair of hands (paws?) Food was fine - I only had a sandwich so it’s hard to say much more, but I got the impression it was all decent quality. The room was quite noisy, with hard surfaces reflecting sound, so it’s maybe more a place for those wanting vibrancy and zip rather than a quiet or more intimate dining experience.

Okay but a real lack of atmosphere.

Friendly welcoming team. Comfy sofa seat. Delicious drinks.
