Attended a wake. Lovely bright room.

Great local pub with fabulous entertainment on the night we went in.

Lovely pub and staff but could of sold food and hot drinks aswell as alcohol

First time for a long time being in there it was OK

They have stopped doing meals now. But the beer and selections and staff and service are all excellent. It has been refurbished to an excellent standard. Well worth a visit if you are passing.

I visited The Selven Seas for a few refreshments while there I was served by Fee (Landlady) on entering she greeted me with a smile and made me very welcome 10/10 for the whole experience while enjoying my drinks. I am going to recommend The Seven Seas to my friends and family.

Love this place! Newly visited after the refurb. Great pool table only 50p a game, 2 free dart boards. Cheap drinks!!!! Don’t see that often anymore. And best of all great, friendly staff and management. Definitely repeat customers now

Good for pool.. Really good tables... Beer choice is rubbish... Just lager... Lager... Lager... So if you like anything with a bit of taste, nip to the coop next door and buy some punk ipa or docks beers cans... And sneak them in.....

Just been for a carvary for the first time, absolutely lovely, had beef, it just melted in the mouth, lots of choice in the veg section, had scrummy rhubarb crumble for pud, deffo will be back again, xx

Sunday roast's veggies are over cooked.

Tasty Sunday lunch but the Yorkshire puddings are no longer homemade which is disappointing. Good choice of vegetables but they could have been hotter.

I came here with a friend for a carvery lunch, we weren’t disappointed 😊the staff were friendly & helpful. The portion sizes were good & we had 3 choices of meat plus 2/3 pie choices. Also offers gluten free, vegetarian & reduced salt options. The vegetables were nicely cooked, not over cooked & not too hard. My only criticism is that it could have been a little hotter, other than that, it was lovely. Would definitely come back.

Found hair in mash potatoes . Told lady that collected my plate . Said she'd tell the cook . End of . Not impressed.

Went on Christmas Eve. Nothing like hearing the whole pub singing Christmas in New York and dancing to Niel Diamond and John Denver. Good for a few pints and a relax.

First visit to the Seas in years and did not disappoint with the carvery. Fantastic value for money generous portions and great beer and wine prices.

Myself and my good friend simin peach attended for a quiet pint. Big mistake. There was more scum in the pub than there was beer behind the bar, everywhere you look there was scumbags eyeing up my new £30 shoes. More teeth left on the nunsthorpe. The beer was flat. Simin went on a fruit machine which conned him out of £0.30 presumably in an attempt to keep the pub open. The toilets was dirtier than a hookers gash. Never ever again

Sunday Lunch at the Seven Seas has got to be the closest thing to a real home cooked Sunday Lunch! The portions of meat aren't skimped on unlike some carvery chains I could mention! The veg is super fresh and plenty of choice! And very reasonably priced too! We will definitely return!

I'd never heard of this pub, it's tucked away at the back of Scartho, and unless you live around there you wouldn't know about this little hidden gem. I was taken there by a friend for a Sunday carvery and found the staff and food very pleasing.....the Mushroom and Stilton pie was delicious (which was pre-ordered when booking in) and there is a good choice of vegetables. The starters and desserts on the menu are pretty generic but we were so stuffed from our main meal we couldn't have fitted in another morsel. Just a warning though, they did get busy so probably best to book ahead. Also when you sit at your table, everyone's booking slips are there, you only get an hour to eat before the next booking arrives.

Usually this place is great for a carvery however today was not the case, staff didn’t know what soup was available she checked and it was tomato and mascarpone usually freshly made and beautiful today it wasn’t it was a microwave meal, the carvery usually beautiful really disappointed vegetables where stewed to death especially the potatoes that tasted like they have been there hours, now don’t get me wrong we were the last customers of the day but your last meal served should be as good as the first, don’t let yourselves down like this seven seas I have been put off and probably won’t return what a shame

This is the first time we have tried this place for a carvery and I must say I was highly delighted, the staff are very friendly and serve you promptly, there is a good choice of starters at very reasonable prices, the carvery has a good selection of vegetables and the meat served is to die for especially the beef, all in all a great experience and will certainatly visit again, great food at reasonable prices, great job everyone at the seven seas, thankyou

Good parking, clean & friendly establishment. Excellent value carvery especially on Tuesdays. A large selection of vegetables, good portions. Just like going to your mums for lunch! Highly recommend, certainly not worth cooking at these prices!!

Excellent carvery fresh home cooked food reasonably priced and lovely staff.

Called Sunday am to book table for 6. All no problem easy parking. 3 meats on offer and I had a helping of each turkey beef and gammon all veg was good and loved the homemade Yorkshire pudding. Also was offered to go back for any more veg. Didn't have pudding didn't need it. Good value and family all enjoyed it. Lamb offered on a Wednesday I think remembering seeing on the board.

As carveries go this is one of the better ones. I have been 2 or 3 times in the last few weeks and each time the carvery has been very good. I find it advisable to book as it can get very busy.

Hoy 4 de mayo de 2017, alrededor de las 5. 30:00 hicimos nuestra primera visita a este pub/restaurante. Sí, se puede hacer con un toque de pintura, pero que no pudo. . La comida asados era de primera clase. Carnes cocinados a la perfección, como las verduras. Todo se sirve como la naturaleza destina sin salsas o aceites (podías añadir tú mismo con salsa, etc). Café después era genial, los precios eran muy razonables. El personal era amable y muy servicial. Sin embargo, después de la comida, antes de salir, decidimos utilizar las instalaciones, y aquí es donde las cosas salieron mal. Cabina 1, bloqueado con tejido toiler, asiento de cabina 2 colgando, cabina 3 tan sucias que no oso pensando. Y el hedor. . Si bien. oler desde afuera de la puerta. No hace falta decir que mi madre y yo decidimos esperar hasta que volvió a su casa. Como un cliente de la primera vez, voy a pensar dos veces si vamos de nuevo. Una lástima.

Necesitan urgentemente una puesta al día, especialmente los aseos, parece que la última actualización de circa 1982! El personal del bar era agradable y parecía sin embargo, el trabajo duro de la misma no se puede decir de los que ejecutan- muy grosero y parecía que sólo quiere sentarse a beber mientras su personal hicieron todo

went to try this place as we had heard good things,well it was very clean and small to a lot of carveries and wednesday was lamb day i had beef and lamb which was cooked to perfection, all the vegetables were all so well cooked , two coffees and two main meals came to £16 50 which is very reasonable and we thoroughly enjoyed it and would go again, recommend you book a table and they are closed saturdays . staff were nice as well

Uno de los mejores en Grimsby y culto a la muy buena relación calidad-precio. Carne excelentemente y un montón de verduras frescas. No puedo criticar el lugar. Ahora están a punto de aumentar sus días de apertura, incluso mejor. También el servicio con una sonrisa.

We have eaten at the Seven Seas Inn on several occasions and have never been disappointed, staff very helpful and friendly. The carvery is always enjoyable with a good choice of vegetables.I have just read the two reviews from dissatisfied customers and can't believe they have even been to this restaurant,some people do write a load of rubbish. Anyone wanting the best carvery in the area,give the Seven Seas a try,you won't be disappointed. I'm going again this wednesday,as on wednesdays only they have Lamb on the menue aswell as the regular roasted joints.

Been to Seven Seas three or four times in the past year. The food is always good, veggie options are tasty, service is satisfactory and it's pretty good value for money. They serve real ale, which is always a bonus.

I live nearby and have been coming in this pub for about 7 years now. It's had a fair few owners and changes but now that it has been done up and changed in to a carvery I have to say it's the best it has ever been. I like how it is partitioned off, half for the pub, half for the food. It means you can enjoy your food without being interrupted by the drunks. The food is mainly home made and really is tasty, I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for the meat to be cut for me which is brilliant. The bar staff are all young but experienced and very friendly which is nice to see these days. Overall a lovely meal and Drink for about £7 is just brilliant and cannot be moaned at. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I went with a large group of friends on A Wednesday which is lamb day. As always it was really good and we all enjoyed ourselves. However they now only do meals at lunchtime which is disappointing

It's one of the furthest distances i have to go in grimsby from where I live,but it's well worth it..it's a carvery with 3 choices of meat every day and on Wednesday you can have lamb,you have to book for the lamb.The meals were excellent,as usual,both of us had the lamb and I had a pudding,treacle sponge and custard, my wife had a lime and soda,I had a glass of merlot and the bill was under 16 pounds.great value for money.a Aaron
