had my wedding here yesterday (24th August) and i can’t thank every single member of staff enough for the efforts they made! myself and my new wife would highly highly recommend for weddings! thank you all so much!

Great venue, lovely garden, great buffet food which is a big step up from the standard buffet, homemade pizza, special sausage roles.

Had the pleasure of fish and chips at The Pelham Suite on June 7th. It is really worth paying a visit. EXCELLENT FOOD AND PRICE.

It was a sad day attending a family funeral. But the area for the ceremony and then a separate room for a buffet were very nice. The staff were really great, helpful with directions and serving food and drinks. There is plenty of free parking with space angled to driver straight in and out.

Lovely place with good parking facilities, the hall we were in had a really impressive ceiling. We ate there and the food was lovely too.

We had our wedding reception here 7th oct and from start to finish I was not disappointed.The professionalism and communication of every member of staff was above and beyond our expectations.Special thank you to Carl who coordinated the function you are a credit to the company and also Reece for his professionalism.The buffet was superb and excellent quality I would highly recommend this place for any function.

If you're thinking about using The Pelham Suite for your event then just do it because you certainly won't regret it. My Lady and I just had our wedding and it was beyond our expectations of what we pictured. Reece and the team were amazing and his attention to detail was phenomenal at every step of the way, we had the perfect day! We wanted a wedding that was different and would be compared to all the boring weddings out there and with the help of Pelham we achieved it! Food was second to none, the deserts to die for and the service was impeccable. Honestly I'm tempted to divorce my wife so we can do it all over again! Don't hesitate just do it! Lovely venue, with a gorgeous striking monochrome ceremony room, spacious airy reception suite and garden area. I've been delighted to lead both wedding and funeral* ceremonies here, and can highly recommend the venue, and Reece and team who will be attentive to your needs. *yes, you can have a celebration of life service anywhere (not only in chapel or crematorium); the ceremony room is a beautiful, dignified place for a farewell.

I went here for the holistic last week There was no parking and no information as to where I could park locally the layout wasn't great (who would want a reading right by the door) there was quieter area's to the back. There was some lovely stalls and the atmosphere was nice.

We would like to thank Rhys, Lydia, the chef and all the staff who work on our Golden Wedding celebrations. They went above and beyond to make our party a great success. Nothing was too much trouble and we were given helpful advice. The food was freshly made and amazing. There is a great selection of foods to choose from and the staff serve you. Our guests said that it was the best buffet they have ever been to, and that is praise indeed. The function room looked wonderful. The bar is ideally situated next to the function room where there are tables and chairs so our guests could sit and talk if they wanted to while others were dancing to the disco. It really was an amazing night. Once again many thanks to everyone at the Pelham Suite.

What an amazing venue we held our full wedding day at the Pelham . From first consultation to leaving on the night totally 100% professionalism . I would like to say a big thank you to Reece and the team for the outstanding service provided for my husband's wake. They were so caring and the attention to detail we were so well looked after. Never been all day in bed unwell

Seemed a nice place for an event. Visited as part of a murder mystery actor so didn't fully experience the service. Could have been a bit warmer inside though

Daughter had a fab time at her prom the school are very lucky to be able to get this venue for all there activities my youngest still goes to that school so he will get many more years my eldest has left but gone to sixth form but she will have another prom next year. I have been before for other things its a loverly place

I’d like to express my thanks for the wonderful way the Pelham Suite, (Cambridge Road) looked after us, when our party and guests went there for refreshments and to share memories of my wife, Deidre, after the service at the Crematorium. The hospitality, service and decor were all faultless. I appreciated the attention to detail in providing table strips and displays in my wife’s favourite colour. Without demur they acceded to all my requests. In particular, they kindly allowed my daughter to make and bring Deidre’s Apple Snow dessert, a favourite of my wife’s, frequently served when we entertained, and they facilitated a slide show using their overhead projector. They could not have been more accommodating: I am so pleased with our choice of venue. Universally, comments from guests have been very, very positive, mentioning in particular all the staff's friendliness and kindness and especially the quality of the food! I do thank them and wish them every success in the future.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming ,The carvery food served was hot and a lovely selection to choose from.we had gammon and it was very tasty .venue was set out beautifly

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here rhys and Lydia couldn't have been more helpful from the day we booked the venue to the day of the wedding renewal and Jack the chef did an amazing buffet and the cakes were to die for I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the pelham suite

Our group had a lovely afternoon here for our Christmas Party. The room was beautifully decorated, the meal was first class and the service impeccable. The staff were friendly and made sure that we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you all.

A great place, centrally located, with plenty of parking. Ideal for private functions be it birthdays, christenings or weddings! The staff are incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond their role. They also now have a fantastic garden at the rear of the the Hall that is ideal for weddings, ceremonies and any outdoor functions you wish to have

Had a big event there last month that went down really well. All done to a very professional standard and without any fuss. The meals were good and the organisation and friendly attitude of Diane and Alison made it all work very well. All 100 of us were very impressed with all that went on, so thanks a lot!

We had a large function and the disco they provided was rubbish. Cost us a fortune and yet it was ruined by them. Disco was for middle age. DJ did not speak one word to guests. He was ignorant . Bar lad was very friendly and helpful. Bit miffed that we were not allowed to bring left over buffet home, due to " health and safety reasons " Don't see why you cannot bring certain foods home. It was lovely food , we ordered far too much. Staff not helpful on night. Heard good reports from others, so must depend on what event you having. Not many went to the bar..prices too high. Plenty of help before we booked..

Pasamos la noche aquí con amigos y disfrutar de una comida y entretenimiento en vivo. El entretenimiento era increíble, algunas fantásticas voces e la ley realmente personas y baile. No podríamos haber pedido algo mejor. El edificio en sí está bien distribuido, con algunas zonas tranquila, bien iluminada para aquellos que quieren hablar y evitar cualquier tipo de música. Todas las comodidades son frescas y modernas, con atención al detalle y la limpieza. El bar está bien surtido, aunque me pareció bastante caro. Por ejemplo, una pinta de sidra y una botella de costo corona 9 libras, mientras que el vodka y una Red Bull knock off barato cuesta 5 libras. La comida en sí tenía dos opciones. Lo tomas o lo dejas. Un par de personas alrededor de nuestra mesa pareció el pollo estaba muy seco, y las verduras más preparado, pero este fue probablemente debido a la masa de catering más que otra cosa. El personal era amable y servicial y un crédito para el lugar. Pero el mayor problema para todos era el calor en la habitación. Fue sofocado y realmente sufre por la falta de aire acondicionado. Cuando una puerta se abrió para dejar entrar aire fue cerrada por el personal para no molestar a los vecinos con la música. En el verano, este es un asunto importante y que será un factor decisivo para muchos.

Pasé una noche muy agradable en este centro disfrutamos mucho gracias no dejes de ser un Masonic lodge te desanime, el personal es muy amable, con una buena selección de cervezas la comida era también excepcional y tienen el pato (precioso).

We were very pleased with the support we received from Alison and her team at the Pelham Suite, we wanted a room suitable for 14, and to theme the room as a medieval period. We were encouraged to produce the theme. The food was great and so was the service, we had a great evening, so thank you Alison and her team.

Lovely venue here my friends, beautiful building with amazing facilities and spacious rooms. I've been here a few times to watch various shows and they've always been fantastic. Lovely, friendly staff with a plentiful stocked bar. Great place.

We held a family birthday party here with approx 100 guests. The staff could not be more helpful in the planning and organisation. Thank you Alison and team. With the staff help we organised colour theme, table and chair decorations, disco (v reasonable), a photo booth (big hit) and three hot dishes for supper. The hall has a great big car park for those driving. The wi fi was excellent and kept the younger ones happy. Everyone was impressed with the look of the venue. Inside the drapes and twinkly lights across the ceiling were a hit. No wonder people hold weddings here. For food we had a curry, chilli and chicken supreme with chips and rice. Without exception everyone had plenty and enjoyed what they had. (Thanks Rachel) Our party was from 7:30 to midnight. We all had a dance and of course a few sensibly priced drinks. We had a great experience for our event I recommend the Pelham Suite for your next party/event. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

We recently had a joint christening here and i have to say the staff were fab! Nothing was too much trouble and they decorated the venue beautifully. All the guests commented on how lovely the food was. Many thanks for making our day run so smoothly.

I have never entered a Masonic Hall before and I was surprised by the normalness of the surroundings. The staff were very pleasant and the buffet food kept coming. The cold food was fresh and tasty as was the hot food. We had a wonderful afternoon in a pleasant environment.

Greeted by the very happy, helpful staff and shown around the building which is wonderful. The lunch was excellent with plenty of vegetables and the staff kept coming around asking if we wanted more.The meal was hot, very tasty and beautifully served. We have booked again for next year!

What a great night. Nothing was to much for staff and management of the Pelham Suite. With over 120 friends we had a fantastic night. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Thank you all for your professionalism.

Lots of space, a wonderful bar and some really friendly staff, together with an excellent chef will ensure you have a really good time here whatever the function. Car parking is available.

We booked it for my wife’s mother’s 100th birthday celebration on Sat 7th Nov with about 70 people attending. Without exception everyone thought the place was really great, most hadn’t been before. The buffet food was excellent, well presented and timed exactly as we wanted. Really good selection to order from and good prices. We had a number of games of bingo, a singer, the Mayor attended and the room was decorated appropriately for the occasion with photo’s and information from 100 years ago. We had discussed our requirements with joint manageress - Lydia beforehand and also made some alterations as things had slightly changed - she couldn’t have been more helpful, exceptional service, and the event was excellent. The building is really good and the staff, service, cost and food were exceptional - we were exceptionally pleased.
