Lovely restaurant, atmosphere and location The food was great and good value for money. The service was excellent a great place to eat anytime of day.

Ordered fish. Without batter , one with sweet potato fries , and could the cheap make some curry sauce, no problem service friendly and quick, always liked this place but today they excelled

We went for a family Sunday lunch. We always enjoy the excellent food and service. Unfortunately, on this visit there were two very large tables which took up all the staffs time, resulting in very slow service at our table. The food didn't arrive all together with some of our party waiting too long after others had been served. The cauliflower cheese was burnt, black on top and shouldn't have left the kitchen like that. I will return but big parties need more staff

We went for a three course meal at Healing Manor/ Pig and Whistle to taste our wedding breakfast food and the team did not disappoint. It was excellent and the staff could not do enough to help. Really recommend the food here and the portion sizes do not disappoint. Some nice options for plant based eaters too (which I am) and the taste is not bland like other places I have been.

We cannot rate this venue highly enough! The food and service was excellent. Definitely will come back again for a special occasion 😊

We were selected as competition winners and we took our parents with us. We visited on 30th Dec for afternoon tea. It’s a lovely atmosphere and the restaurant manager Jenna was most attentive and her warm personality was most welcoming. All the food was delicious as we have come to expect from this venue. We got married here during covid and they went above and beyond to help with all the pandemic issues we faced and accommodate what became 2 separate days of celebration.

Eaten here several times and always great. Last night however, was the abolute best. We were well looked after from the moment of arrival with attentive, friendly and professional staff who were interested in making our experience the best it could be. They succeeded The menu was mouthwatering and made choosing what to eat quite difficult, likewise with the winelist. Food was very well cooked (hats off to the kitchen crew) who crammed each morsel full of taste. The wine was excellent. Throughout the meal, the waiting staff were there when needed and not at other times which is just how it should be. Great people work at this organisation who go over and above to look after guests and ensure everyone goes away happy. Well done to the whole team and we'll be back!

Christmas night out with the girls and so pleased we chose to eat here. We wanted something nicer than just a standard pub meal and it didn't disappoint. Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and the flavours and presentation of the food were absolutely amazing, will definitely be eating here more often. What a lovely setting for a festive afternoon tea. The place was beautifully decorated from outside to inn, it made us both smile, we got a lovely welcome from the lady on reception, she was very polite and bubbly, just the welcome to start you off for a good afternoon. We were shown to our table and ordered a glass of Prosecco. The afternoon tea followed shortly afterwards, it was wonderfully arranged and tasted as good as it looked, the pastries and desserts were xmas themed and added to the excitement, along with unlimited tea and coffee this was the perfect xmas afternoon tea, we both thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend. Special mention to Lily & Misha for their outstanding service, Merry xmas and New year to all the staff and I wish to venture back in 2024

The food was delicious, ample quantity and excellent quality served by a variety of very friendly staff. The whole whole atmosphere was relaxed and festive.

Booked a table for late lunch . We had the mussels and they were delicious. We did have a pudding and cheese and biscuits which were also superb. The service was outstanding , the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you for making our afternoon so lovely! Would highly recommend

Today was the last opportunity to sample Fish Friday (haddock, chips, peas, tartare sauce, glass of beer or wine for £17) before it gives way to the festive menu. Yet another reason to hate Christmas. The haddock was beautifully cooked, as always, and the service was excellent too. It has to be the best fish and chips in Lincolnshire, and the dog friendly aspect is always a bonus. Fingers crossed it's back in January.

We love this place! Special mention to Jenna & Alisha very attentive, service was totally perfect. The attention to detail is the best! Jenna was so lovely and noticed i had a rather pricey handbag with me, and she got me a handbag hook to borrow to keep it from the floor! Fantastic!!!! We felt so special as did many of the guests as the service was the same throughout the tables. We had the Christmas afternoon tea, it was delicious as all their afternoon teas are! We glimpsed the Lincolnshire chef & his wife that was really lovely to see that they around the restaurant. The decoration was so Christmassy and really has got us in the mood for all the festivities. Really worth going up wont be disappointed at all. Service is second to none and atmosphere is lovely too. I will be booking in again and again!! Thank you so much for another faultless visit xxx

Food was excellent, lovely fish and chips, my fish was very large so good for larger appetites too, chips cooked to perfection all presented beautiful too, couldn’t manage a pudding so maybe next time, lovely atmosphere and service, so all round an amazing place.

We called in on a whim without having booked for the £10 lunch offer, began to panic slightly about not having booked when we saw how full the car park was, but a table was set up for us straight away. Food was amazing, love the Lincolnshire Poacher cheese and the Parmesan and truffle fries were the best I’ve had… we caved and added pudding and coffee too. The young gentleman, Sam, that served us was polite, funny, very personable and a credit to the Pig & Whistle!

Stayed 2 nights at the manor and enjoyed Great food and beer. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Thanks to Blake and Sam.

Lovely meal, fish and chips for me which was perfectly cooked, chicken schnitzel for my wife which she really enjoyed. Nice bottle of white Rioja with it which was very good. Excellent service from Blake and Sam, very friendly and attentive. Been here a few times, always 5 star!

Tried booking a meal for the Saturday night but it was full. Was offered a 4pm table and was a little reluctant at first as I thought there would be no atmosphere. How wrong was I!The place was buzzing!The service throughout the afternoon was excellent. The young staff where all friendly and very professional. The young gentleman who was looking after our table (I think he was in charge) was chatty but not over familiar - one of my pet hates!He made sure my glass was never empty, which was another plus point for me!The food was unbelievable. Scotch egg for starters followed by double cheeseburger. Tasted great and presentation was 1st Class. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food and excellent service.

Had an absolutely fantastic evening meal with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff are brilliant; attentive without being intrusive, helpful and pleasant. All wore masks. Tasty food and lovely atmosphere. Will be going again very soon.

Four of us visited last night and all agreed that both the food and the service was exceptionally good making a memorable evening.

We went for our wedding anniversary and it was magical. Our table was gorgeous, with views over the private garden. The food was divine, the presentation was beautiful, the staff was very helpful, friendly, polite yet not over bearing. Service was beautiful and flawless, the drinks were gorgeous. We have lived a fantastic hours, we have built some beautiful memories. Everything about this experience was perfect. We knew we would have a lovely day, but our expectations were outreaches. We can not recommend Healing Manor enough. In fact, I have told my mum about it, and she is looking forward to take us there! Thank you for having us, you have made our anniversary a day we all will remember forever. I can not emphasise enough about how gorgeous the full experience was, thank you Healing Manor .

I've been going to the Pig and Whistle with my dad for approximately 2 years after it was recommended to us and have always had a good meal there. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, yet professional. Last Sunday, my dad and I both had the beef bourguignon and it was delicious. I don't like mushrooms and our waitress (Lucy) asked the chef to leave them off the plate (even though I would've picked them out) and the brisket was very lean and tender. My dad had the prawn cocktail starter and loved it; I had the passionfruit tart which was so refreshing. I said at the time it's one of the best meals I've had there and promised to leave a review on Tripadvisor - so here it is.

I was invited to lunch with my daughter The menu was very limited but I chose beef bourgin. However the meat was fatty and veg was hardly cooked. The dauphinois potatoes were lovely. We waited to be asked to order a pudding but no one came. So after an hour we went to the counter having decided to skip pudding and ordered coffee. Again we waited ages for it to arrive but when it did it was very nice. I was very disappointed as the service was terrible. I have been before to the Pig and Whistle and it was an excellent experience. Sadly I will not be back again.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch this last weekend. The food was great and there was plenty of it. The staff are lovely. They are very friendly but very professional. They do a grand job.

After a terrible year of lock-downs and anxiety over Covid, we decided to book a table at the restaurant at Healing Manor to use the very generous gift voucher our son and daughter in law had given us at Christmas. From walking through the front door, the whole experience was a pleasure. It had a lovely relaxed, but safe, atmosphere and we were made to feel very special throughout our entire stay. The staff were extremely polite and friendly, but most of all professional. We weren't rushed at all and had ample time to choose, eat, and digest our meal without feeling we had to leave. We both had fish and chips as we had heard fantastic reviews about them. We weren't disappointed and both agreed these were the best fish and chips we had ever had. The presentation of the meal was also superb. I could not finish my meal and was really disappointed as I was enjoying them so much. I definitely couldn't manage a pudding even though, again, I would have liked to. All in all, the whole evening was absolutely delightful and we will most definitely be dining at Healing Manor again.

I telephoned my reservation, asking for a 12.30pm table, and was informed that I could have either 12.15pm or 12.45pm. I had to give my credit card details with a 'hold' of £20. How many pubs in the area are doing this? Sure enough, from 12.10pm to 1.10pm, the place was practically empty with only three tables occupied, and one of those arrived at 12.30pm with no reservation. There was no intelligent reason for denying me a 12.30pm table, other than "Computer Says No." The waitress arrived to take our drinks order. I don't drink Tetley's and asked for their own branded real ale, as advertised on their website. Nothing, Tetley's is their only offering on draught. I was offered Black Sheep or Spitfire, and chose Black Sheep. Waitress returns to say there's no Black Sheep. My wife ordered a lime and soda. Waitress returns to say they are out of lime cordial. Meanwhile, Charlotte is mixing cocktails for a photographer at the bar, no doubt for slick marketing. Has someone taken their eye off the ball, here? Shouldn't they get the basics right first? A fantastic array of gins but no lime cordial? I'm not interested in the tales of woe about a supplier - that's just not the customer's problem. Couldn't someone get in a car and go buy some bottled beer (as advertised) and a couple of bottles of lime cordial? So there we sit with two glasses of tap water. If it wasn't so serious, it'd be hilarious. We placed our order for food and the haddock was beautifully cooked, a crisp, light-golden batter and perfect, bright white meat inside. Well done to the chef. We'd dressed to go out to a nice place for lunch, but a good proportion of the clientele were workmen in branded work clothes, heavy industrial boots etc. While waiting for the food another waitress approached us, looked at the water and asked if we'd like to order drinks. So we had to explain to her that we tried to order drinks but they don't have beer or lime cordial. "Sorry about that!" she cheerfully says before heading off, masking covering her mouth but not her nose.I noticed that the pub has gone back to putting napkins and cutlery on tables, the comparitively unhygienic pre-Covid method. It seems to me that this pub doesn't really know what it is - a brass tacks pub, a gourmet restaurant, a sophisticated cocktail lounge? Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Me and my mum came the other day for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we ate inside and had wine outside. The food was great and the girls were so lovely. We will definitely be back with our pooch 💝🥂

Where do I start.. cold in temp and in atmosphere!! Food very poor quality, uncooked chips, plastic cheese sauce, curdled bernaise sauce , tough beef !!!Spoke to the manager on shift who was officious and rude !!! If you want poor food in a badly run atmosphere you will like . One to be missed for me … never again!!!!!!!

We love the Pig and Whistle, we've been quite a few times, the last few for Sunday lunch. The service is always spot on, always very courteous and polite, can't do enough for you. We understand that that all the mismatched chairs are for the vibe and the decoration but on this occasion we both got really uncomfortable ones. Really should have asked for them to be changed. Starter of paté was immense, really nice. Main course was a bit hit and miss. We both had the turkey and it was carved from the type which was rolled. Roast potatoes were a bit powdery and the green beans were almost raw, but cauliflower cheese was amazing, the mash and stuffing were both gorgeous. Overall a lovely time, just a couple of disappointments. I would still recommend this lovely quick, character full place for food.

Lovely welcome and delightful staff. Food disappointing (burger was poor, salad drenched in pesto, steak overcooked). However, would still recommend, but only for their excellent sandwiches and the great service.

My friend and I both had the turkey Sunday lunch and we weren’t disappointed it was delicious! We were recommended the baked Alaska for dessert and it was sublime…The ingredients are of exceptional quality you can tell and cooked to perfection. We are definitely going to make this a regular thing especially as I had the biggest carrot EVER!! 10 out of 10 for service and food.

Healing Manor never disappoints. We had the taster menu in the portsman restaurant. Everything was perfect. The staff were welcoming and new lots about the dishes. The food was delicious and we all left feeling full and satisfied! Would definitely recommend.Thank you we had a great night.

Excellent Haddock and chips. Had to send 2 carafes of wine back as they were corked but replaced without fuss. Would have expected the replacement charged at the same lower price though.Waiting staff need some training as 3 out of 4 interrupted our conversations without an excuse me and we noted one put other customers drinks onto the table heavy handedly spilt their drinks. Our coffees nearly went the same way plnked down. Also asked for the source of the fish but waitress did not get back to us. Pavlova was nice but looked like it was designed by a 5 year old.Could do better but would go again.

We arrived after i had book a week in advance the lady who greeted us was miserable and rude and when i commented on this she said I’m just trying to do my job i dont need this s**t in front of my children! We were seated at the table after 5 minutes of arguing, she had obviously told other members of staff what a nightmare i was! So they too were rude and left us sitting at the table for ages eventually a waitress came over to take our order and we asked for drinks menu and she replied i do have a drinks menu but your not having one, that was the last straw for me so we walked out without spending a penny!!! On fathers day it’s meant to be special and i was discussed!! Luckily the king fisher down the road was open and we had an amazing times there instead plus they had an outdoor play area for the kids.

As always excellent staff and food. We are always made to feel welcome and we have never had a complaint. Because of this we go often and recommend the Pig and Whistle to everyone. They were amazing through the lockdowns with providing a takeaway service.

My husband and I had the most wonderful meal at The Pig and Whistle tonight! Who knew this hidden gem was just down the road from us… The perfect restaurant in the beautiful stunning setting of Healing Manor serving scrumptious food and to top it off the friendliest team, especially Marie! We both opted for different starters, mains and desserts and couldn’t even tell you which was our favourite as they were all delicious but what I can tell you is that my husbands fish was as big as my arm! I especially love how knowledgeable Marie was about all the dishes and to learn that they also support other local businesses and uses local produce! If you’re ever in Lincolnshire, I definitely recommend booking for a meal here , you will not be disappointed! We’re already thinking about going back again! Thank you ever so much for looking after us we had the best evening! ‍‍

This was the first week after release of indoor dining (CoVid) so a few deficiencies are excused. A very friendly welcome, traditional 'English Country' ambiance, well spaced tables, and subdued atmosphere (not a noisy place) added up to good first impressions. The menu wasn't huge but was comprehensive with a lot of thought behind it. Service was prompt at first. We both ordered sirloin steak - medium cooked. The meal was presented timely & attractively on the plate. 5 stars so far.The meal as a whole was delicious but my medium steak was , on asking, described by the manager as 'on the rare side of medium rare'. Obviously she offered to replace it but that would ruin the rest of the meal. It was an excellent piece of meat and didn't detract from me enjoying the meal as a whole.My wife had a glass of Puglia which she praised. I had a Guinness which was mostly froth; the barman was to bring another rather than throw it out, but he forgot.The waitress was quite slow at clearing the plates even though she'd just served the next table. The dessert menu eventually appeared but after 15 minutes no one had approached to take an order. The waitress passed the table twice at speed, not looking for eye contact. Eventually we gave up on the dessert; I went up the bar to ask for the bill.Summary: 5 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service. But then it was just after the embargo on indoor eating, so we'd definitely eat there again.

Great measures in place during covid restrictions. Had the afternoon tea; the scones and cakes were awesome. Fantastic quality food. Great that they cater for dietary requirements. The staff were awesome, so friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for us. I've been here a few times and it is always great food and service.

Fish and chips...the batter is always lovely and crispy, no grease with beautiful, white haddock. The sausages are tasty, also in the same crispy batter. The chips are so chunky, they are delicious! The portions are extremely generous and it is always piping hot.

A fabulous Sunday Lunch, top notch as always. The Beef was amazing with plenty of Vegetables, Mashed and Roast Potatoes. Superb.

Fish and chips were gorgeous and at £10 for an adult and kid is really good value. My only wish is that the Manor had more takeaway nights than just the two.

We're a big fan of the Healing Manor restaurant and, pre-Covid, I would take my parents and grandparents each year for a Mother's Day lunch. This year, we ordered the take-away three-courses and were delighted to have the same experience at home. The main courses remained piping hot when we got home and the deserts were beautifully presented. Plus the extra chocolates and coffee went down a treat at the end! Only minor criticism is that there's too much veg (this is the same when dining in) but appreciate that they'd rather give more food than not enough. And, in future, would be nice to get less plastic takeaway boxes for some of the courses (they end up being thrown away) and replaced with recyclable foil trays. But all-in-all, amazingly tasty and friendly, local service that keeps us coming back! Can't wait for them to open up properly again.

Ordered Afternoon tea for 4 and it was amazing. My parents and my husband’s parents loved the variety of items and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Thank you Healing Manor for excellent service and COVID safety collection.

Mom had been unwell all week and it was the perfect pick me up for Mother’s Day and the fact that Dad could have his own gluten free version and join in the treat was all the more perfect!Selection and variety was as always exactly right - excellent quality, super fresh & amazing flavours. Perfect Mothers Day box of goodies! As a resident of the village I am super proud of having Healing Manor on my doorstep and can’t wait to get back to sitting outside with a bottle ofPinot for some long overdue summer evening catch ups! Thanks for all your efforts over the past year, it is always a pleasure and scrummy!

Pick up was fast, simple and very COVID safe. The standard of the food was excellent, and the portion sizes were very generous. We ordered two adult and one child’s afternoon tea, and they did not disappoint. They came very well packaged and nothing was soggy or dry, it was all very fresh. The entire experience was great and worth the money. I have not eaten at the Pig & Whistle yet but will be visiting once they re-open. Thank you.

Mother’s Day lunch was everything we expected, collection was well organised and on time, food was very good with good portions and very tasty. Will definitely go back and will look forward to another good experience.

Amazing afternoon tea. I ordered a takeaway afternoon tea for my mum. It was a very easy collection in the car park. My mum was over joyed to receive her afternoon tea, it looked absolutely delicious, my mum said it was the best afternoon tea she has ever had and she has had a few! It was worth every penny of the £15.00 paid. I will be collecting another very soon but for myself this time. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Sorry no pic as mum ate it very fast

The meal was delivered on time, and the starter was delicious. There was a big problem with the main course. This has been discussed with Mel and has been rectified to my satisfaction.

Fabulous Haddock and Chips and Delicious Double Cheeseburgers. We ordered a delivery due to self -isolating. Delivered exactly on time by a lovely friendly young lady, it was all piping hot, the batter on the Haddock and the onion rings was really crispy and we all savoured every mouthful. Thank you very much - can’t wait to come and visit you again after 12th April

During lockdown healing manor/ pig and whistle has continued to provide an excellent range of meals either delivered or takeaway collection. On this occasion we picked up afternoon tea to celebrate my mums birthday , the food was delicious and plentiful. The only thing missing was the lovely surroundings and the friendly staff that we have enjoyed in the pig and whistle and restaurant at healing manor, we are all looking forward to going again as soon as it is safe

Fantastic meal, easy to order online and arrived promptly. Friendly delivery service and food clearly labelled and hot. Excellent way to enjoy a birthday meal in lockdown. Food was amazing, cooked to perfection and there was more than enough. Would definitely recommend The Lincolnshire Kitchen and will be ordering again!

We were treated to a delicious meal for my Husband's birthday, which was delivered to our door promptly by a lovely young lady who checked our order was correct. The meal was wonderful and so plentiful we had to leave the dessert and cheeseboard until later in the evening. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and extremely tender; everything was just perfect! We would definitely recommend, as we have never had a disappointing meal cooked by The Lincolnshire Kitchen yet!

We booked the Afternoon Tea delivery as a way of celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary in "lockdown".It was promptly delivered by a cheery lady.We got the "posh" Cchina and cutlery out, laid the table and put on a Nat King Cole CD for background music.♡♡Our afternoon tea was lovely and, along with tea, we opened a bottle of Cava to make it even more special.The prawn cocktail,  pate and sandwiches were delicious savouries- although we saved the pate for an evening snack.Scones and cakes all so tasty including the mini cheesecakes. Again we saved a scone each  and the turnovers for the next day.Thank you.A lovely treat, much enjoyed !Hopefully we can visit Healing Manor for a proper sit-in meal when things are back to normal.Karen and John Waterhouse 

We had a takeaway night a couple of weeks ago and it was excellent, from online ordering to pick up , so after receiving a voucher we decided to try the Sunday dinner and this was excellent as well, full turkey dinner followed by Mississippi mud pie.Thank you to all involved.John & Mary Cooper

The pig and whistle was recommended in January to me by my daughter. We tried the Sunday lunch takeaway and it was absolutely delicious! We are not within the delivery radius so we have to collect but the food is always lovely and hot. We ordered the Sunday lunch the following week which was perfect again. Me and my partner decided to order the valentines set menu and this was absolutely delicious from start to finish. Yesterday we ordered from the menu, my partner had the ribeye steak and said it was one of the best steaks he’d had, cooked perfectly. Staff are always very polite and efficient, and great service from the reception staff. We will definitely continue to order from here and look forward to visiting the restaurant once doors open again. Highly recommended

Take away Fish and chips . Ordered for collection at a specific time . Food arrived very quickly after I alerted staff to my presence . Arrived home ( 5 min drive) with food piping hot . Plenty of it and most of all delicious. 5 Stars for all aspects of service and quality.

Had 3 course Sunday lunch delivered on Valentines day. Even though they were super busy, the meal was delivered on time and still very hot (I thought I may have needed to reheat... But no). It was super tasty, and plentiful. Rang the hotel straight after to compliment the chef. Thanks again.. Will be ordering again very soon.

Our food was delivered in the allocated time slot in a covid secure manner by a friendly young lady. The fish was beautiful and the batter light and crispy and the chips were also delicious and all piping hot.

Absolutely fabulous.. can't fault it .. reasonably priced .. covid friendly .. upon arrival we had to wait 3 minutes .. and it was hot & fresh ..

Our third or possibly forth Sunday Roast from The Lincolnshire Kitchen was superb and filling. Beautifully cooked Beef with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and so many vegetables I thought I'd gone vegan. Delivery was contact free and very safe. Thank you.

For a lockdown birthday treat, we ordered starters of chicken pate, mains of double cheeseburger and 2 different desserts - apple crumble & sticky toffee pudding. It arrived on time, well packaged and hot, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Everything was so well presented - even for a takeaway meal. Very pleased with the food & would definitely recommend.

As a birthday treat we ordered two steaks from the ‘steak night’ deal. The steaks were cooked to perfection with plenty of sides, veg and sticky toffee pudding. A great experience all round and one I would recommend!

We thought we'd try a takeaway Sunday Lunch yesterday and as we expected, we were NOT disappointed!! Safely collected, everything came piping hot and absolutely filled our plates - delicious!! The roast beef was gorgeous, plenty of veggies and more than enough gravy too I'm happy to say!! Thank you so much for this lovely treat. We will be back for more!!

Decided to order the Christmas afternoon tea for our son's birthday just before Christmas. When we picked up our order, the staff were very professional, making sure our order was correct. As we couldn't entertain at home due to Covid, we dropped some boxes to a friend's for them to enjoy. Everything was presented well in individual boxes and even Christmas crackers - how thoughtful. We were bowled over by the amount of treats in each box, too many for one sitting so were able to enjoy the next day too! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, and we loved the chocolate Brussels sprouts on the Florentines.We shall certainly be looking to order again, hopefully Healing Manor will continue with this brilliant service. We also look forward to eating in their restaurant when restrictions are lifted.

Decided to have treat for the New Year and so glad we did! We absolutely loved it. Everything was top quality and really tasty. The box was full of cheese, chutney, pate, crackers, crudités, sausage rolls, chocolates and desserts. Pick up was straight forward and Covid safe and there was plenty in the box for lunch the next day. Will be trying a take away meal again soon for sure.

Picked up xmas lunch and was very surprised how good it was . Having lost our appetites due to covid I must say it really was great and also good value for money.

We had delivered a Christmas Dinner delivery on Christmas Day for 5 adults. Firstly was impressed with the COVID secure delivery; the delivery person had a face mask on & stood away whilst we opened the box which kept the food piping hot. The starters were a mix of soup & pate & were all delicious. All the mains were turkey & again they were perfectly cooked & tasty & plentiful & came with instructions on how to keep warm whilst enjoying the starters. We needed a break before anybody could manage a pudding & we had a mix of sticky toffee Christmas pudding & festive cheesecake & they were all extremely & delicious. Mince pies & Stokes coffee was also included which we will enjoy another day. Thanks for a wonderful Christmas dinner would highly recommend.

A Christmas dining experience to remember. Four course Christmas lunch delivered with a smile lived up to the quality and expectations of Healing Manors standards. Abundance of hot delicious food with attention to detail including all the veggie options,condiments and even the tea and coffee bags. In response to the current climate, Healing Manor advertised a takeaway Christmas Dinner. My husband and I decided to try this out as we normally like to go out. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was incredible, the packaging was thoughtful and well delivered and the service around collecting the meal while staying safe was very professional. I'd hoped there would be some positive things coming from this awful time, however small, and fine dining takeaways from Healing Manor are for me, one of the interesting, new and totally unexpected changes in this day and age. The team should be very proud of themselves. We can't wait to book in to the restaurant when things feel a bit more normal again.

What a lovely treat. Afternoon tea was lovely. It was easy to order online and then we drove up, parked in a bay, rang the number and they bought it out. Very easy and delicious. Fantastic treat! Thank you!

This establishment has everything sorted for covid safety. Ordering an afternoon tea for Christmas Eve was easy. Parking on arrival in bays, staff outside to take names etc and then deliver to your car. The food was exceptional and beautifully presented. Made our Christmas Eve. Hope we will soon be back eating at the Pig and Whistle but the takeaways are well worth trying

We ordered a take-away meal for Saturday evening, ordering on line was very easy, collection procedure well set up. The meals were Irish Stew and Arrabiatta which were both absolutely lovely and very generously portioned, sticky toffee pudding with custard rounded the meal very well. A superb take-away experience.

Sunday Roast Dinner delivered, we had the beef with all the trimmings and it was the best. We have had this before and it is still the best. For my wife’s birthday we did have the Steak for Two meal which again we could not fault, superb food at very reasonable price.

Myself and my husband came for afternoon tea. We was very impressed with everything. The desserts are beautiful with lovely flavours. The savouries are equally lovely.The staff serving us on the day are excellent. Very friendly and explained all the COVID rules perfectly and very respectful of our space. We will definitely be coming back for the winter afternoon tea as soon as we can.Before that we will enjoy all your food from your excellent takeaway menu

We stayed at Healing Manor Friday and Saturday night what a fabulous find, the food was amazing the staff were all friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble a really lovely place to stay. The covid measures they have in place are excellent making it feel a very safe place to visit

Booked a meal today at the Pig and Whistle, Healing manor,the customer service was excellent and the food was exquisite my wife my self and son each had 3 courses off the lunch time menue it was worth every penny a 10/10 for everything. Can't wait to go back again

Visited with a friend for dinner. Covid restrictions / controls couldn't be faulted. Great menu choices and we each enjoyed our respective dinner. Great portion sizes leave you feeling full. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely place for a relaxed, enjoyable meal.

Had lunch recently at the Pig and Whistle, as always food was excellent and staff great. Felt really safe with the measures they had put in place, lovely table looking out to the lovely grounds. Fish was superb.
