A fairly short review… They do an amazing caramel hot chocolate and the breakfast rolls were spot on! Dog friendly and very friendly staff. Plenty of choices for both food & drink.

After a stroll on Cleethorpes seafront required refreshments on a very warm day. Came across this gem of a place. This place does cater for all. We had tea & a decaf Latte both hot & lovely. Couldn't resist 2 slices of Biscoffe cake., absolutely gorgeous. Looked to be homemade cakes I you are in Cleethorpes I would recommend.

Visited Cleethorpes last weekend (27/5/23) with my family, with a view to going to the beach, having lunch, then taking my young son on the train. Lunch was ordered, four trays of chips, and paid for without problems. We were then given one tray of chips. When asked where the other three trays were, I was met with blank looks, and one panicked lady sprinting around yelling 'just a minute' to everyone. I was ready to write it off as an honest mistake, until two trays of chips arrived. When asked about the missing one, the young staffer tried to palm me off with "You've had them." I told them we hadn't, and was k certain again met with a more, *ahem* assertive blank look. Eventually, I caught the attention of 'just a minute' lady again, who, FINALLY, sorted another tray. No apologies. No acknowledgement. Nothing. Just "There you go." Suffice to say, the NEAR HOUR IT TOOK TO COOK FOUR PORTIONS OF CHIPS, whilst having to listen to the staff prattle on about going out and getting drunk, whilst I stood with a more angry customer who had waited for over an hour for a hot dog that arrived cold, and without the advertised sauces etc... ended up with my son's train ride cancelled, and a promise we'd kept all term broken. Because of Kingsway (and don't write me off with 'should have come earlier'. Due to certain mental health reasons, our son's routine is set with little wiggle room. You can only imagine his reaction when the food came after such a long time, and we had to break it to him that his trip had to be cancelled.) ...and to add insult to injury, the three portion we had to practically fight for arrived undercooked, with one being near inedible. "It was a peak time/holiday season/Bank holiday". Isn't good enough either. It's Cleethorpes, a holiday destination for over a hundred years. You should be prepared for custom, not a mother's meeting about who did what with whom whilst [coarse term for drunk].

We always stop here for a couple of beers after our walks along the seafront, the beer is good and the staff are always friendly and helpful ! Yesterday my wife lost her purse and after an hour or so we went back to the Kiosk and we were amazed to find that the staff had kept it safe behind the counter ! Although we are not sure how my wife mislaid the purse we would like to thank the very honest person or staff member that handed it it or kept it safe ! Very rare in this day and age ! Thanks again for your honesty it made our day !,

A great little place to sit outside or inside at the quieter end of Cleethorpes beach half way between the pier and the boating lake. A great position with public toilets right next door. The menu is extensive and the food was good. Great for a breakfast and coffee or a light lunch. Plenty of outside and inside seating with a bar at one end. The staff were all young and were great. Chatty, helpful and smiled. Worth a stop as you walk by

We visited here on a quiet Monday morning. Two girls were at the counter. One asked for my order - 2 sausage baps, one with egg, one with tomato. Not difficult. She took so long writing she could have written down their entire menu, then asked me what the other one was! We got there eventually. The other girl asked what drinks we wanted - one tea, one coffee with lots of milk. Black coffee was handed over with the stupid milk sachet things, next to the 4 pint tub of proper milk, so I asked for proper milk please. She'd filled the mug up so much there was no room for any milk so I asked her to pour some away as I'd said I need a lot of milk. Clearly these girls do not listen to their customers. The food was fine, albeit the cheap and nasty sauce sachets were ditched and I used proper ones from my bag. All in all, it was ok but probably wouldn't bother visiting again. On top of all that, they had no toilets, despite having the legal minimum of covers for them to need them.

Had a very pleasant afternoon yesterday at the kiosk in Cleethorpes having a couple of beers and listening to some great local music. Despite the intermittent showers, we had a great afternoon, with several visits to the kiosk shop for ice cream and burgers, along with the beer, tea and coffee. while we've been to the kiosk several times in the past for an ice cream after Dog walking along the front, this was the first time we have spent an afternoon there, and will definitely be back again for more music and beer if the weather permits!! It's a local gem that deserves to be well looked after.

Called in here for a cup of coffee after a swim at the Leisure centre but boy was I disappointed. Always busy in a summertime, very dog friendly and plenty of water bowls outside for them in hot weather. Serve food and drink and ice cream and all very reasonably priced. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Situated next to the leisure centre and behind the public toilets overlooking the beach area, the only down side is that it is also situated next to the busy road so can be noisy. Made to feel welcome.

Staff were friendly and remembered the children for a couple of days before. Great ice cream. Other people in the cafe were rather rude. One woman seemed put out that we were in there having coffee with our children. Pointing out that it was a dog cafe. Even though it was the only cafe that end of the promenade. We will not be returning.

Kingsway Kiosks - Enjoyed local fish and chips and a coffee in their outdoor seating area. You can also sit inside the conservatory area if it is raining or cold. Dogs are also allowed inside which is handy. Prices are very reasonable and they also sell ice creams, paninis etc. They also have entertainment sometimes. It's a short walk down the promenade - at the end, near the leisure centre. Worth a visit.

Great lively place great music BUT oh dear me the bar staff need re training. The are two bars and lots of people waiting to be served you cannot just serve the person stood in front of you or just walk away into the other bar. Any bar staff worth their salt know who is next or who has been stood the longest. Surely the manager allocated certain staff for each bar. Although it was New Years Eve it wasn’t particularly busy.

In all my years as a member of trip advisor, this is the worst meal we've ever been served. The waitress appeared to be one of the owners and acted as if we didn't matter in her day. Ordered the fish and chips, which was more like corn pone with a piece of cod wedged in. Taste was horrible, presentation was worse. Ate one piece and gave up. Planned on a piece of gingerbread but was afraid to attempt a second serving of the food here. There are excellent restaurants in the Florence/Mapleton Oregon area, unfortunately this is not one. Avoid.

I’ve had a bad experience twice the first one I asked for 2 large sausage bun and the only 2 sausages in so it basically just bread. This time I asked for 2 sausage buns one with brown sauce one plaine just with sausage and they gave me 2 sausage and bacon with nothing on it’s like they made there own don’t go here.

Lovely snug pub on Cleethorpes Sea Front with lovely staff and punters. Even has pool tables and one of those mobile-controlled Jukeboxes. Shame it's so expensive! Over a fiver for a pint of Madri! Go one bar down to Willy's and you can get a pint of Becks for just over £4 or one of their local brews, or go up to the Fisherman's on Sea View Street and get a pint of local Docks Beers for the same price. Explains why the place is so empty during the week. I get the pub trade is struggling but as a Marston's pub you'd expect it to be a bit cheaper - it's Cleethorpes, not Brighton!
