The Countryman Humberston in North East Lincolnshire

Pre booked a table of 13 for an evening meal at 7pm last Friday . Most of the party had travelled from various parts of the UK to attend a family function the following day . The majority choose the Haddock and chips with mushy peas which was superb, the scampi and burgers also rated very highly . They even do dessert to takeaway and the spotted dick and custard was delicious .

Our first visit & certainly was disappointed it's was absolutely lovely. We both chose the Friday offer 2 courses for £27.50. The steak was cooked perfectly & the home made chips were delicious 😋

Great service tonight at The Countryman, food excellent and great value for money. The team were very friendly and helpful 👍

Nipped out for tea and a pint on a sunny Friday evening. Barstaff were efficient and friendly. Food was very good. Will definitely be back

Had the fish and chips for Good Friday, absolutely beautiful. The fish was so fresh and melted in your mouth. Best fish and chips in the area by far. Thank you

Went into countryman for our usual fish and chips night , didn't book , don't normally book , regular every Wednesday for a long time , sorry full , despite obvious tables being empty, well we haven't been back . Use to be very customer orientated, sorry Justin but another customer who has gone elsewhere.

Go here quite often with friends.Staff so friendly and helpful.One of the nicest places for food.Never been disappointed,food always delicious and so nice to have proper chips. Brilliant choice on menu.

Went to the Countryman for an evening meal. Enjoyed my gammon along with a nice bottle of white wine. Nothing was too much trouble and Jenny was extremely helpful and professional. Thanks for a great evening.

We went with friends that had been before although we hadn't. It was fish night and the fish and chips could be gluten free (which our friends had) and skin on or off. The batter on the fish rivalled any fish and chip shop and the chips were really good. Puddings could also be gluten free and there was a good choice and were lovely. The staff were faultless and really friendly, efficient and helpful. Will definitely be back.
