A welcoming and spacious cafe, right by the pier entrance. Very friendly staff, and the coffee and cake (billionaire sponge cake!) were delicious! Dog-friendly too. A great place to watch the world go by.

The Best Place to Eat in Cleethorpes.The Staff are just Lovely, They serve a Beautiful cup of Tea and the Bacon is pure Bonny Lush in Sandwiches. The Selection of Cakes could indeed Tempt The Devil Herself. The Scones are Huge and we would like to say again This is The Best Well worth 5 stars and A real Pleasure to eat at The Best Coffee Shop and ice cream Parlour in the town of Cleethorpes.Well done to every team Member .

Called in for a drink and this cafe is excellent. The coffee was perfect and served hot and lovely. The scone was a joy to eat and the service was friendly and the cafe was clean and tidy. There was a selection of cakes that looked great and they serve breakfast all day. We will go again. Plus the view is great.

This is a great Location and the Staff are Brilliant. The prices are really good when you know you are on holiday and you want some pennies for Food and treats and arcades and then A Lovely desert at this nice place, My other Half put the Cream on Her Scone First then the Jam. I put the Jam on my scone first then the cream to follow and there was only harmony as we both tucked into then had the Best Cup Of Tea Ever and still we had change in our pockets when it came to pay the bill. Arcades and a Full tummy here we come XX

Nothing is to much to ask for and help is given when needed, The Prices are very very good and We will so make sure we come back here when on our next Visit, Every ounce of care is shown with each customer and it was good to be spoiled . We enjoyed coffee and cakes here with a view of the beach and ocean. This is a perfect location along the promenade.

Popped in a couple of times while we were on holiday. The service was prompt and attentive. You have to pay at the time of ordering. The crêpes were so good, and the coffee was excellent quality. We liked the dog-friendly room as we were able to sit and enjoy a relaxing breakfast with our doggo.

This is a wonderful place to order good home cooked food, the staff are just lovely and we can not wait to return on our next visit, This is why 5 stars are given because you are Treated with such respect and Good Manners are shown at all times and we have to say thank you to every member of staff .The Bill still left us with change in our pocket so Thank you again to everyone Xx

We were seated quickly. It wasn’t very busy but we waited a while to have our order taken and you have to pay at the time you order at the table. For £24 we had a coffee, two cans of Pepsi, a crepe, a toaster and a waffle. The crepe was large and my son Chose Nutella, strawberries and icecream. Apart from him struggling to cut it, he enjoyed it and was happy. He gave it 6.5 out of 10 My other son ate a bacon and cheese toastie. It looked lovely and crispie with crisps and salad. 7/10 I had a waffle. It was half a semi circle with plenty of Nutella. However, the waffle was rock hard. No fluffiness at all… it wasn’t nice. 2/10 due to the nice Nutella! The coffee was nice. I drink it black and it was medium smooth roast. There were toilets here for customer use, nice views of the beach.

Service started nice but once we were seated, the service seemed to disappear, waited a while for someone to come take our order, me and my son deuces to pick our own sundae, my son chose chocolate and strawberry ice cream but ended up with all chocolate, I ordered chocolate and mint choc chip, the chocolate was nice but the mint choc chip was very bitty and I felt like I Was going to choke on it.

Excellent place with large selection of snacks and cakes. Nicely presented and great location with cracking views of the coast. Good variety of flavours for the kids. I appreciate the location of where we were but possibly a little overpriced. Otherwise definitely worth a visit.

This is a cafe situated on Cleethorpe's promenade. It offers a variety of ice creams and homemade cakes and cream teas. The coffees weren't the biggest on offer but hot. The homemade cakes are definitely worth a stop. Wheelchair friendly.

Four of us went for a drink, scone and cake. When the drinks came it was like something out of a doll's House. At a guess I would say that the cup was at least half a normal cup. 2 sups and it's gone... If you go, get the coffee...

We called in shortly after opening time for a drink and snack. Very impressed with the quality of our latte and cappuccino. Friendly staff too who ensured the safety protocols were followed in a helpful and positive manner.

This place has a great location along the beach, I didn't see any cafes that matched it.The staff were kind and moved us to a window seat as soon as one was available. It was relaxing to look out over the water. We had salted caramel milkshakes (made with ice cream, there is a big choice) which were tasty too.

Went on yearly day trip To Cleethorpes Beginning of August 2020, always visit this cafe when We are here as dog friendly, clean, great service, clean toilets and Good food. There are not many places that except dogs inside which is a shame as they are missing Out on a lot of business. Definitely recommend this cafe as a must to visit.

Love this place!! I own a caravan on Haven not too far and me and my family come here every Sunday for waffles and ice cream lovely place very clean and dog friendly! And If you grab a window seat you can look out to the beach while eating your waffles!

My wife and I had walked for quite a few miles and were getting rather peckish.. lots of places to eat in Cleethorpes, but not if you have a dog with you. We spotted a well placed sign outside advertising that they were dog friendly, what a result..!!My bacon butty was lovely, my wife’s panini equally good quality. Great coffee, good service too.Not the cheapest cafe we’ve been in, but the quality of the place more than made up for it.Would definitely return..

On my first ever visit to the town I stopped here with my partner and grandchild. We enjoyed excellent coffee while the grandson had a wonderful quality Ice cream from a superb choice.

Lovely clean friendly cafe right on sea front. Sadly tea is served in tiny cups at £1.65 so wish they offered a pot or mug?. Cake prices are reasonable but waffles work out very expensive and another £1.80 for scoop of ice cream. Salad bowls are £7 which we thought was just off putting but as others have said location and cleanliness is spot on.

We had just come in from the rain and were soaked. They didn't have a problem with it. Really accommodating. Brilliant food and a nice see view. Really nice staff and really clean cafe and Toilets. Definitely worth a visit. Really good value for money. 5/5

My husband and I called into this coffee shop for a coffee on our recent trip to Cleethorpes, the staff were very friendly and the coffee was excellent.

We went in as we couldn't get a table on the pier. So glad we did. Excellent food, very clean and easy to ordered. We enjoyed our meals so much we did the "create your own ice cream sundae" Amazing ice cream.

A place to head for when you arrive,nice coffee and tea cakes , and later on a cup of tea and ice creams (choice of flavours) in a dish

Very busy but managed to get a window seat making you feel you were eating on the beach. Had a lovely bacon sandwich and cappuccino.

Nice view of the beach to look at. Service is first class to visit. Have a cup of tea and toasted tea cake. Visit again in the future.

Lovely panini and icecream staff very nice the whole place was nice and clean except for the shock of the toilets what a disgrace really let the place down hence 4 stars not 5 otherwise highly recommended

We visited on a cold April Saturday after a good recommendation for this place. The location is great, right on the seafront next to the pier, the cafe is clean and tidy... but... the staff were pretty rude, the black Americano coffee was poor with no crema and the waffles were not fresh, probably bought from Costco and warmed in the toaster, couple that with the roasted ‘nuts’ that were not nuts at all but bits of broken biscuit... oh and I asked and paid for cream but didn’t get any. Very poor indeed. Shame really!

Called in with our dogs and was surprised to find such a fantastic café inside. We had toasties and they were really tasty. Chose our own ice cream sundaes - loved this, and highly recommend the toffee fudge with white buttons!

Initially thought what a lovely looking dog friendly venue! we decided to go in for three ice cream sundaes as part of an early mother's day celebration. We went up to order the sundaes and wanted to get 2 dog biscuits, we were shocked to discover that they were charging 25pence each for biscuits that would cost less than a pound a packet we regularly use dog friendly venues and have never been charged for dog biscuits. We declined this offer without realising that a greater shock and RIP OFF was about to be delivered. The three Medium sundaes arrived initially the order was incorrect despite having been ticked correctly on the self order form. The icecream portion in tiny sundae dishes was minimal, the extra charged items such as cream, syrup, fan biscuits and 6 tiny pieces of honeycomb were ridiculously priced considering how little their was. We paid nearly 17 pound for 3 of the worst icecream sundaes I have ever seen. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS COMPLETE AND UTTER RIP OFF VENUE AND IF YOU COMPLAIN EXPECT NOTHING MORE THAN A SHRUG OF THEIR INCOMPETENT SHOULDERS.6

Stopped off for an ice cream and wasn’t disappointed- fab way of ordering on a tick sheet no time at all to wait for it and it was smooth and creamy, really reasonable price and a fantastic view out onto the beach

Dog friendly, which is a plus for some people. Can seem like a bit pricey, but I guess it can seem that way because of where it is on the seafront overlooking the pier? Had coffee and cakes for 2 people, cost just over £8. Service a little slow, but cakes were good.

After giving a good review on this cafe a few months ago, what difference on a weekend very disappointed. Asked if I could book a table of 7 plus dog for my twin daughters birthday on the 24th feb, the lady member of staff seemed stressed though not particularly busy and I was told that she would have to ring the manager to check that it was ok to do so. So when I asked if I could bring 2 birthday cakes with me she said no as they sell cakes here, I said “ok do you supply birthday cakes” she said no only slices! Hardly the same! Btw this lady isn’t the nice short haired blonde lady in the week she’s lovely. Will not be visiting here again sorry.

Dog friendly which is great, lots of different flavoured I've cream, homemade waffles are absolutely delicious. Will visit again.

This is the 4th time I have visited this cafe now, and every time it doesn’t disappoint. Spotlessly clean very friendly staff and lovely fresh food at a reasonable price. A beautiful view of the beach if you have a window seat and always feel welcome when we bring my little nephew, unlike some cafes I could mention in Cleethorpes.

First time to Cleethorpes and we found this lovely cafe. Warm, clean and bright. Happy, friendly staff. Stunning views from the windows. Lovely ice cream.

Cleethorpes can only be described as a grim dump and most of the places around are only ok. This place was busy probably because it was so bleak and cold. There are signs reminding customers it’s not fast food, customers presumably have learning difficulties? The coffee was luke warm and weak, the tea was a cup of water with a tea bag on the side! The view out of the windows the brown waters of the Humber estuary, lovely.

Lovely position, great coffee. Very clean. Welcoming . Dogs well catered for. Fresh water in several pots for them. Separate area at front for dogs. Spotless even after dogs had been in.

Popped into Darracottes for a couple of cappuccinos, crêpes, colas and ice-creams. It was a fairly busy Saturday but we found a nice, clean table with no issues at all. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and the food was all freshly cooked to order.

Still no teapots for the tea!!!!!. Prices quite good, service fine, staff friendly, but a tea bag placed by customer into a cup of hottish water just doesnt cut it. Diappointing again. Floor needed cleaning. Decor bit brash and very plain, considering it's such an ideal setting by the sea. Not as good as in the past.

Perfect place to have a coffee, tea, cake or snack with window seats right overlooking the beach and the pier! Staff are really friendly and food was great. A perfect location -definitely recommend!

We visited this cafe based on the location and the view of the beach, hoping for a nice brunch. As residents of cleethorpes we know there’s a good standard of cafe’s in this area, but I’m afraid this isn’t so for this place. The food was underwhelming, and was very clearly bought in and not home made. The scones were not warm, incredibly dry and to top it off came with squirty cream instead of the usual clotted. The drinks were below average and not what you’d expect for the price you pay. My young daughter had a flavoured ‘milkshake’ which cost £2.95, however it tasted and looked no more than a glass of milk. I would never usually leave a negative review, but I was so disappointed with this cafe as I really expected something special as it’s in a prime location, however the lovely view and the fast service are the only redeeming factors.

Lovely view, don’t order the triple blt if you don’t wanna be disappointed, there’s no bacon in the top half and very little in the bottom, just salad for £5 not worth it! Stick to the panini with inc salad....

We decided to go here for waffles rather than having them takeaway as we are more comfortable with that. Firstly we only paid about the same price we ordered sat at a nice table overlooking the beach. This is a lovely clean place for a seaside cafe, also had a lovely range of ice creams. My partner had maple syrup and cream on his, I had Nutella and banana served nicely really enjoyed this experience. We will go again

I love this cafe, it has good coffee and great views over the beach. My partner thought I was mad when I said I'd meet him here after his sat morning run. It doesn't look anything special from the outside but it's lovely inside and after one visit he's a convert. We ordered a coffee and a bacon sandwich each (white bread, well done bacon and hp sauce - perfect). I always come here for a coffee when I visit Cleethorpes. It's family friendly too.

This café is actually, an ice cream parlour and café. The inside is extremely well decorated, and the seating is very much improved. The staff are very friendly, and the service is quick. I had the best toasted teacake ever, and the coffees were great too.It's a great spot to sit and look out over the Humber Estuary, and they don't do chips, which is great for us. It's a nice comfortable quiet cafe, and centrally placed.

We have been here a couple of times in the last couple of weeks. Great service and food. The views over the beach are stunning even in the freezing cold.

First visit and won’t be the last. Reserved a table for a family lunch and were so pleased we did. The staff were so friendly and our panini’s and Blt’s were delicious. Great service and we were not made to feel we had to rush away after we had finished our meal.

We called today for coffee and decided on a crepe and waffle to share. Waffle was edible but stodgy. The crepe was inedible. Thick, doughy, undercooked and tasteless. Crepes should be light and crispy! No-one came to ask us if everything was OK which considering there were only three couples in was poor.

We were having a couple of days in Cleethorpes, took the land train down, was looking for a place that sold good coffee, came across Darracottes, nice feel, friendly staff, I had the cheese on toast, not many places sell it, yummy! Granddaughters had ice cream and cake, rest of food lovely and great coffee!! We loved it and called in the next day! would recommend.

I have visited this delightfully clean, attractive, beach side establishment (with great sea views) on a couple of occasions recently. It has been a delight and the staff are always polite and helpful. You must try the ice cream sundaes here though. They have a clever system where you fill out a card listing how many scoops and of what flavours you want as well as indicating the syrups/toppings you'd like. On both occasions I handed the card in and paid (for 3 scoops as I don't know whether any more are allowed) and almost as soon as I returned to my table the requested ice cream sundae arrived just as I'd ordered. It's a brilliant system and I can't fault the quality. It's certainly somewhere to go and I'll be going again if I get the chance!

Great cafe offering great choices. We only popped in for coffee but ended up having cake as well. The scones were lovely and served wit jam and whipped cream. Good selection of cakes and they also serve crepes with various fillings and a good selection of ice creams. We had vanilla lattes which were nice and hot but not enough vanilla flavouring. Staff were helpful.

Taken over from the Beach restaurant so big boots to fill, but this sea front restaurant is definitely improving. Positives are friendly staff, fresh food, clean and bright decor and gluten free bread offered alongside white, brown & granary. Slight cons are that a 'pot' of tea would be lovely instead of just a cup and cooked breakfast food a definite benefit; even if the choices were only full English, veggie breakfast and perhaps omelettes. Add this and I feel it could surpass the Beach because of its staples of panini, vi jacket potatoes ice cream and cakes and would make it an all-round all-day venue

Visited here due to them having jacket potatoes as we didn't have many other options with so many chip shops around. Reasonable prices although portions a little small the food and service was great and the ice cream sundaes were amazing.

I am a little surprised the place wasn't busier. I suppose everyone wants fish and chips when you're by the sea.
