I really like this bar. The cocktails are brilliant especially the attention to detail. Very professional and beautiful setting. The only negative is the slow service with food. Would recommend if having a drink in Hessle.

Our 1st experience was bonfire night fab event really enjoyed it lovely place will be back for one of those pizzas they look amazing staff was amazing and friendly

Our experience today was unfortunately disappointing. First, the wait time was excessive. From placing our order to finally receiving our main course, it took over an hour—and even then, the food was lukewarm. We had to send it back, and after an additional wait, we received a fresh meal over an hour and 20 minutes after ordering (this was just from the standard lunch menu). The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived, but the staff claimed they were nearly fully booked with only four tables available. However, when we left, there were only three tables occupied, with more staff than patrons. Simple requests like mayo went unfulfilled, and overall, the food quality fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, with the lackluster service and underwhelming food, we won’t be returning.

Fantastic little pub in Hedon. Great decor and atmosphere and large beer garden. Nice choice of hand pulled cask ales with excellent service. I had Lasagne and partners had burgers both delicious! Definitely popping for lunch again!

Lunch time visit, Good pub food, generous portions, very friendly and prompt service. Pleasant atmosphere Will visit again. (Note large TVs so maybe not evenings if you don't like watching sport?)

Cold coffee, which was a real shame as the majority of breakfast was really quite nice. We will be here for breakfast again when we next stay. Staff were friendly.

A hidden gem, very homely pub and I love eating here. Have been many times and the staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the food is always lovely. I always end up leaving with a happy and full belly! Have also been for event nights (live music) and had an absolute blast.

Excellent place run by St. Nicholas Church, but not religious. Offers various events for all age groups & interests.
