Nice food and good price but can find the waiting staff a bit iffy / rude at times

Excellent car parking we were in the over spill section. Very warm greeting by Irene who served us through out our visit. She was very professional who took our order quickly and to our amazement gave the history of Wingfield. It was so unusual for a member of staff who was passionate about the company and her Job description. Good and drink perfect. Highly recommended.

Fabulous carvery, all the meats were tender with generous slices. All the veg was fresh and regularly changed. We arrived at 2:30, all the food was fresh and tidy and reasonably priced. Irene was a wonderful guest host. Lots of tales in the history of the pub. Happy 8th Birthday for next week!

Excellent atmosphere large and airy dining areas, separated for families and others. Great food we had the Carvery Sunday lunch. Succulent meat and fresh veg. Good size yorkshire pud too! Loved the local history especially from the very knowledgeable Irene.

Fantastic food. Carvery regularly topped up with freshly cooked food. Drinks brought to the table quickly. Table cleared in good time. Irene was extremely friendly and helpful with my family.

A lovely Carvery , well cooked food Katie out waitress was very fast and efficient with our puddings.

We visited last night for my son’s birthday. Julia was out main server and she went above and beyond for our party! Making sure we got everything we needed and even bought a cake and some icecream out for my son and the children at the table (as I had forgotten his cake at home) ! She was great! Wish I could give her more than 5 stars for service!! Food was delicious as usual!

We was seated by the window which was nice, wasn't much of a que or wait.my partner and I got a regular carvery,we both chose the beef option. The veg was fine,we left all the meat as it was very thick and it wouldn't cut.There was no table check back, the only time we was asked if everything was ok was when we was leaving, the meat wasn't edible, the waitress suggested we take it home for a dog if we had one,(we don't),I certainly wouldn't feed any animal food I wouldn't eat myself. We are regular visitors here, but to be honest I think it's going to be some time before I go back, I came home and had something to eat, really disappointed

Lovely food for breakfast,with a great breakfast host Irene who has been there since it opened. Only downside to the great breakfast is no milk alternative.but this didn't effect my rating.If you ever get to meet Irene have an ear she is full of knowledge of the history.well done Irene it was nice talkinging to you

Came from Lancaster. From walking into the door Irene greeted us and was very polite and warm. You can tell she really cares about this place. Great place and very welcoming. Breakfast and coffee was reasonably priced considering you can get as much as you like and refill. Congrats on 8 years!

Me and my boyfriend went here as we do every month for a carvery. I pre booked to guarantee a table. There wasn't many people in and we was seated immediately with a good table near the window. The food was disappointing, my partner and I could not eat the roast beef, it was too thick and very tough, neither of us could cut it,I left it all, there wasnt a table check,the waitress cleared our plates and asked what was wrong with it,I explained I couldn't get my knife through it,she did ask me if I had a dog I could feed it to, but Iwhy would I feed an animal it when I couldn't even eat it.i think it will be while before we go there again sadly,very disappointed the food was below par

Just been for lunch, without a booking. It was so busy but within 10-15 minutes we were happily eating our lunches. The staff here are always busy but yet nothing is too much trouble, they are so friendly and helpful.

We came on Easter Sunday The food was lovely food, staff was very polite. Irene was really polite and making an effort with the children. She had made some extra Easter treats. Definitely reccomend a visit here

We stopped off here for a drink on Easter Sunday mid dog walk. We sat outside in the sun and were so tempted by the smell that we decided to have a carvery. The carvery had a great variation of choice and was of good quality. Our server Julia kindly brought out some water and a generous amount of meat scraps for our Labrador. All 3 of us left very full and satisfied and will definitely return.

Julia is a lovely asset to your team. We came for a birthday meal, she went above and beyond for us knowing it was someone’s birthday, she brought a cake over with candles and sang happy birthday. Really did make our night, was so lovely of her.

Brilliant service from the bar staff, servers and host. Julia in particular made sure we felt welcomed: ensuring the table was ready, checked on us and couldn't be more helpful when asked for something. The food was very nice too! We will be returning.

Julia who served us was excellent, she went above and beyond with a happy personality. It was a table of 11 adults and 4 children two in high chairs.

I am a frequent visitor. I just need to say the menus on your website require updating. I was expecting to come today and order a nice sandwich as advertised only to be told you don't do sandwiches even at lunchtime, why is that? Thanks.

Just had a too good to go from here staff member Irene was very helpful and seemed very happy in her job role explaining everything for me. Food was good plenty of choice and lots of it.

Came at a very busy time on a Sunday with no booking but was seated quickly. A bit of a wait for food but everything was great and plenty of it. Irene gave great service too.

Visited the restaurant on Thursday 10th April due to a work colleague retiring so treating him to a lovelely send off breakfast. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Big thank you to Irene and Fiona for making all 17 of us feel at home and attentative to all our needs. The little introduction to us all about the building and the staff who work there was very informative. The food was fantastic with a great choice and washed down with a lovely coffee. All in all a great place to celebrate someone's retirement in a relaxed environment. Highly recommended.

Came for our colleagues retirement celebration and it was brilliant. Irene and Fiona were great and will definitely be coming back!

Staff were fantastic. But as one takes all orders and makes the drinks, it is a bit of a que at times. Kind. Helpfull. The food was fast, hot yummy. They take blue light cards and service dog friendly. We will return. Shirt staffing was not their fault today. So I recommend you go! Just an update the alarm cable in the disabled toilets needs replacing. You may not realise it's been cut. It needs assistance, grab loops, and sit 10cm clear of the floor. When hanging straight down. Again, staff were fantastic. I forgot to say on my exit, sorry. I can remove we when it's repaired ! Let me know please x

We arrived without having made a booking and Julia went out of her way to find a table for us. The Carvery was lovely. My wife and I both had moist and tender Turkey and Beef with a wide choice of vegetables and the largest, fluffiest Yorkshire puddings. We can see why it is so popular.

Absolutely love this pub! Great atmosphere, cozy but lively, and the vibe is just spot on whether you’re there for a quick drink or a longer night out. The food is a good quality, just disappointed that the skin was not removed from the turkey prior to carving as I was served one of the first slices I didn’t get much meat.

Nice carvery but not the best I have had. Yorkshire puds had been out too long and we're tough as old boots, the meat selection, well turkey was good but the gammon and beef were the dregs of the joint's. The server went for fresh joints after I had been served. The veg was all good and the meat I had I did enjoy. All of our party enjoyed the meal but all complained about the Yorkshire puddings.

A very nice pub, on the Hill side of the Humber Bridge, a good place to stop for a drink and something to eat after walking across. A good menu with a lot of choice, a good choice of drinks and a lot of seating with a nice atmosphere.

This was my first visit to Wingfield Farm. Visiting family in Hull they recommended that we all go here for breakfast because they have never had a dissapointing visit. Well they were certainly right. A lovely welcome everything explained. An outstanding buffet selection all delicious hot drinks readily available. Our children made to feel Special. Thankyou to the staff and our lovely Host Irene.
