Un lugar bastante agradable en un pueblo encantador. Visité aquí con un par de amigos que había estado antes y había sido muy bueno. El servicio fue terrible. La señora de la barra vio servirnos como un verdadero inconveniente desde su teléfono. No sé si estaba teniendo un mal día, pero era solo un avión grosero. Otro cliente pidió un taxi y ella dijo que no conocía ninguno, ¿qué pub no conoce un número de taxi? Esta señora no quiere estar aquí y está bien y es su elección, pero no tiene que destruir el ambiente en el pub. ¿Quizás una carrera como enterrador sería más acorde al carácter sombrío? No estaba ocupado y la última vez que estuve aquí hace 6 meses estaba animado. Estoy muy decepcionado de haber recomendado esto a mis amigos, no tendré prisa por hacerlo de nuevo. Nos dicen que los pubs están en problemas y que debemos apoyarlos, ella no es embajadora de la causa. Para que conste es lunes 25 de febrero por la noche. La siguiente parada fue el Corazón Blanco y esto fue mucho mejor, justo lo que esperabas.

Experiencia absolutamente brillante! Para un lugar que no está muy bien señalizado es increíble para los niños pequeños. Usted puede ir en camas elásticas, luego en los castillos hinchables y gran tobogán inflable en el granero por 3 libras cada uno y los carros de go y mini paseo en rueda por 2 libras. Además, hay un pequeño parque encantador en medio de todo. La cantina vende helados increíbles! La única desventaja era que no podíamos tomar una hamburguesa porque no estaba abierta. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera. El tipo que maneja el punto de pago es increíble en su trabajo. . , muy amable, muy educado y servicial, además de que el propietario es muy bueno para manejar el tobogán inflable asegurándose de que los niños grandes no salten para que los pequeños se lastimen. Mi amiga y su hijo también lo disfrutaron. Es triste que no esté abierto durante el invierno. ¡Sigue con el trabajo brillante!

Me encanta aquí, vienen bastante a menudo con la familia y amigos. Es bastante pequeño (actualmente se están extendiendo) e Iv por lo general tiene un gran cochecito molesto voluminoso y el personal siempre hace todo lo posible para apretarnos y asegurarse de que estamos cómodos! El café es INCREÍBLE y los pasteles son tan encantadores y frescos que nunca puedo irme sin uno. He probado algunas cosas en el menú ahora y el pollo y los gofres es mi favorito! El personal es increíble, especialmente el tipo que trabaja allí, siento no haber pillado su nombre, pero es encantador y siempre sale a su manera para cuidar de nosotros : )

Este es un pequeño salón de té encantador con comida muy sabrosa. Sólo hemos comido bocadillos y pasteles, pero todos han estado deliciosos. El personal es muy amable. Es un gran lugar para detenerse cuando se utiliza el A 1 M - la única desventaja es que no siempre hay mesas disponibles debido a su popularidad. La tienda de la granja es fantástico también, y es difícil de visitar sin comprar algo!

The food was delicious and the pub itself really cosy and clean. We had a lovely time until it came to the bill. We had booked, paid deposits and sent preorders in for 4 people. However due to unforeseen circumstances a member of the party couldn’t make it and we didn’t know until we got there. We told the staff as soon as we found out so they could take their food from the list. We were told it was not a problem. The starters came but mine came late and only when I asked for it. One of my friends wasn’t asked if she would like a drink either - she only managed to order one when the waitress finally brought my starter to the table. When it came to pudding, only mine was brought out and my friend again had to ask for hers as it didn’t seem to be on its way. The table wasn’t set for desserts despite two of us preordering one each. When we got the bill we found the main course for our absent friend was still on it. I asked for it to be removed and was told it couldn’t be as it had already been cooked, even though it wasn’t brought out. I thought that was what the deposit was for. So we paid for it but never received it. We were told we should have let them know as soon as we knew our friend wasn’t coming. We had done that and had been told it wasn’t a problem. What I really didn’t like though, and the reason why I feel compelled to leave this review, is the judgement the bar woman passed about my absent friend, saying it was her who had let us down. She hadn’t let anyone down and I don’t think the staff in a pub should be judging customers, especially when nobody knew the full situation. It is for this reason and their unwillingness to accomodate, along with the shoddy service that I won’t return.

I haven't been to Tickhill for ages. I tried Sarah Lou’s Coffee Shop & Bistro 16a Castlegate, Tickhill, Doncaster DN11 9QU The Cafe used to be called Daisy's in the village. I had Cheese, Tomato and Onion Panini with Coleslaw, Side salad and crisps. Drink: Diet Pepsi My PA had a full English breakfast with a latte. Nice little coffee shop inside. Thank you to Sarah and the staff for the lovely food and great service 😊

Waitress dropped the flake off my drink no big deal ordered latte partner said tasted slightly salty ..I ordered hot chocolate the cream on the top was lovely but the hot chocolate was weak and watery I told the waitress she just said oh sorry cakes nice but nothing to shout about and for the price it should of been .. dissapointing really won't return 😕 was expecting it all to be delicious

Lovely little cafe - been a few times now, for three of us, lunch (Jacket potatoes / quiche etc) and drinks was £20 ish. Jacket Potato (didnt have my choice of topping when I went!) come with salad. Potatoes were lovely! Nicely decorated and airy - The walled gardens outside (dementia friendly) are lovely, some aspects of the gardens are very neglected though and do look scruffy.

Needed to be in Thorne and desperately needed breakfast so used trip advisor and two full English breakfasts later and we weren’t disappointed! Fresh , hot and plentiful- toast warm and buttery - would definitely go back Friendly service - made to feel very welcome

We had our first get together since March. Social distancing we had a great morning. Friendly staff. Best hot chocolate ever and cake. Definitely be back whenever we can
