This business has recently changed ownership (the previous owner retired) and it's name is now "Sarah Lou's Coffee Shop and Bistro". The service is still as good as ever and the hot chocolate with everything (cream, chocolate buttons, and mini marshmallows) was excellent!

Daisy's Coffee Shop & Bistro in Tickhill is a charming spot! The cozy ambiance and rustic decor create a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place for a casual meal or a quick coffee break. Their coffee is consistently good, and they have a nice selection of beverages to choose from. I particularly enjoyed their cappuccino with Oat milk, which had a rich and creamy texture. The food was absolutely delicious. What sets Daisy's apart is the friendly service and the personal touch they add to your visit. The staff is attentive and always ready with a warm smile. It's clear that they take pride in ensuring their customers have a pleasant experience. If you're in Tickhill and looking for a friendly place to grab a cup of coffee or a light bite, Daisy's Coffee Shop & Bistro is worth a visit.

well where do I start! Daisys is such a friendly and welcoming little coffee shop with such warm welcoming staff happy to help with what ever we wanted from the menu. As we had the girls with us and after we were seated the kind helpful owner made them feel at ease and had a selection of books to keep the girls amused while waiting for our order! We enjoyed our coffees, cakes from a lovely selection and milkshakes for the girls . So in all a lovely visit to Daisys for us and would like to highly recommend it to others!!!

Ordered Afternoon for three from Daisy's for yesterday. There was so much to choice from that we did not know where to start but everything was lovely and we did not have anything that did not make at least one of us remarked on how lovely it was.The cakes in particular were delicious and we changed our minds about which was our favourite item...we could not get it down to a winner.I will add that while we had ordered for three people I think it could have fed five or six as we ended up feeding four and there was comfortably enough.Jan- thank you some much for your hard work it was so delicious and my Mum really enjoyed it. The two of us hope to come down for lunch later this week

Our granddaughter accompanied us on this occasion for a brunch visit to Daisy's yesterday. Her review? MARVELLOUS!We all had a breakfast. Our granddaughter had the smaller option. We always know it is going to be excellent (consistent content, quality and quantity) as we have been many times over the years. They are completely Covid secure, which is currently reassuring in an eating venue. As usual the staff were amazing. Friendly and professional- nothing too much trouble.Yes we will go again - soon!

Visited Daisy's for the first time looking for a lovely light lunch. We had a panini each, one bacon and brie and one ham, brie & chutney which were freshly cooked and were absolutely delicious and help down by a perfectly brewed cup of Yorkshire tea. There was a more than sufficient choice of options of meals on offer From Breakfast to more substantial meals with lovely, welcoming, friendly staff on hand to assist. At the end of our lunch as it was Valentine's day we were also offered a mini cupcake which was extremely fresly baked and light as a feather with delicious buttercream and jam added...always a match made in heaven.Altthough we live in the village this was our visit but will not be our last.Daisy's is so welcoming and friendly with lovely food and we really enjoyed our visit.Thank you!

As we were going to be in the area and after reading all the good reviews on trip advisor decided we would visit on Friday. What a place. Greeted by a warm and cheerful lady. Had a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich and husband had a tuna mayonnaise. Both came with a salad and generous fillings. Very tasty. Also had a coffee as we were intending to have cake with the coffee could manage any cake. (would visit weekly if we lived in the area !!!) Very reasonably priced

The welcome was cheerful and genuine. We ordered home made soup with warm roll and butter with tea to drink. We heard the kettle on and tea for two arrived within minutes in a huge teapot that would satisfy any thirsty couple. We added sandwiches to our order and nothing was too much trouble. The soup was delicious, hot and very tastey, and the sandwiches heavily loaded with filling. What a brilliant idea to put a small pair of scissors in with the condiments! How many times have we struggled to open those little packets, sometimes resorting to teeth! Before leaving, the master baker brought complimentary tiny cakes to sample which which were divine. We're going again to Daisy's! (Probably taking a friend for coffee today!)

We regularly visit Daisy's and have yet to be disappointed. The staff and owner always take time to talk to you. The food is excellent. I have had breakfast, lunch and cakes before all of which have been delicious. I highly recommend Daisy's for a quick snack or a main meal and always choose this above some of the larger chain coffee shops.

Visited yesterday for afternoon tea. Jan and her staff made us feel very welcome (as usual). Food was excellent with a great choice. We were asked for preferences when booking which was a lovely touch. As much tea as we wanted was provided without any hesitation. We are a group of four who always go out for elevenses on a Friday and love to try different cafes around Doncaster and the Rotherham area. Since opening Daisy's seems to have become our regular return to cafe.

The afternoon tea was amazing. We had a variety of different fillings in the sandwiches which were made fresh on arrival. We had a lovely pot of tea with lovely cups and saucers and we were asked if we would like more tea at no extra cost. They also cater for any taste or diet requirements. We also enjoyed lots of fancy cakes and the homemade scones served with jam and fresh cream were to die for. The staff were very friendly, efficient and nothing was to much trouble.

Working in that area, I and two workmates were looking for somewhere to eat. Normally we like a burger or something. Tickhill is not that sort of place. We thought about having fish and chips, but then saw Daisy's Bistro next door. Preferring to sit down to eat we went in. Thinking of getting a full english we went in, only to be surprised that it was a bit posh.

Visited Daisy's with 7 friends for Afternoon Tea yesterday. Absolutely wonderful. Plenty of lovely sandwiches and cakes. Great way to serve with pickles/mustard on the side so you can add this to the sandwiches. Amazing selection of cakes and the homemade scones are to die for (especially the plain ones!). Very attentive staff and if you run out of anything or just want a bit more just ask! Will definitely be visiting again. At £10 each the price is great too. What a lovely lady Jan is. She makes my children and I feel very welcome - even if we turn up 15 minutes before she closes! We had been here once before under a previous management, when we thought the food was A. a bit pricey and B. a bit pretentious. Yesterday's experience was very different. The outside area when we walked up from the car park needed a bit of a clean, especial as the compound for litter is in full view and was full to the top of cartons and other rubbish. It wasn't a good first impression but we forgot all about it when greeted by a lovely member of staff, (Maisie?) who was very welcoming. Our table was in one of the small dining areas off the main bar area. We had a little wander around after we had eaten and the whole downstairs is very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Every member of staff we met was friendly, helpful and able to deal with our requests. We ordered two starters and mentioned that the third member of our party might be allowed to share. As a result, the waitress brought a third plate. The starters - fish cakes and ham terrine - were very nice indeed, although, in retrospect, I should have just had a main course, as the portions were quite generous. All three of us had the Barnsley Chops for a main and they did not disappoint. However, they were served in a shallow bowl and I would have preferred a proper dinner plate. It made cutting the meat from the bone quite difficult. We also had a side order of cauliflower cheese and it was enough for all three of us to share. Everything was very nicely cooked and presented. Dessert was the hazelnut cheesecake, which was pleasant, if a little bland. Very good coffee the end the meal. All in all, a very nice experience and I would recommend 1903 for a special lunch out.
