Marine Cafe in Doncaster

Needed to be in Thorne and desperately needed breakfast so used trip advisor and two full English breakfasts later and we weren’t disappointed! Fresh , hot and plentiful- toast warm and buttery - would definitely go back Friendly service - made to feel very welcome

Very friendly staff and good quality and value food. We had a jacket with tuna mayo and salad and a brunch which is a breakfast with chips. Big portions and well cooked. We shall be going back Also lovely singing of La Bamba - word perfect

We used to come to the Marine cafe every other Saturday with our two young children. We recently moved away from the area but decided today to do the 50 mile trip to visit again! Breakfast was amazing as always, our children are accommodated and made to feel welcome and were even spoilt with some marshmallows! Thank you Su & Bry xx

Considering how small and how busy it is, service was very efficient and friendly. Large buttys are 8" or so buns, ! Tea and coffee served in proper mugs, not paper or plastic Highly recommend

Called in while travelling through. I had a latte and breakfast bap. The latter was hot and milky as I wanted and this and the breakfast bap were excellent value. Large bap came with egg, mushrooms, baked beans and two sausages. There were quite a lot of other options. Very filling, tasty and freshly cooked. Friendly service. Car parking available on the road opposite

Best value and quality breakfast in Thorne, great friendly staff adhereing to covid rules, will certainly have another go soon! 10/10

We had a warm welcome from the owners. Lovely couple who own the place.We had a couple of sandwiches (one bacon and one breakfast sandwiche) which was lovely, asked for the bacon to be well done and when the lady brought it across she checked to make sure it was cooked as wanted, which it was.Great little place. Well worth a visit.

The perfect stop to fuel and water, a lovely little traditional Cafe with the warmest welcome and good honest food.

A little of the beaten track this little gem of a cafe is well worth a visit.The friendly staff and value for money made us choose The Marine Cafe and we weren't disappointed. Large breakfast n mug of tea set us up for the day!! as we were going to Doncaster Races 15mins down the road. Good food n lots of it we will be going again.

I’m a trucker and I’ve been to plenty cafes all over the country and this has got to be the best one yet, lovely location, staff and the breakfast (large) was spot on even the coffee was excellent which is a rarity in cafes, will definitely come again if I’m in the area

We stopped off for lunch and had a breakfast lunch. Food was so good and cooked to perfection. Lovely welcoming staff and very clean establishment. We will return when in the area and definitely would recommend to others

I visit this cafe regularly with my mate when we are golfing. Great staff and great food. Always full on a Saturday morning with people who are fishing, golfing, and the locals as well. I have never heard a bad remark from anyone regarding any type of breakfast you choose from just a sandwich to the Full Monty. I have not had one yet but I am positive the lunches would be just as good. Excellent value for money and always worth the visit.Just to say thanks to Su the cook for a great start to the day. Would recommend without hesitation and plenty of free parking across from the cafe.

After returning from Humberside Airport on our way home, we stopped off here for a breakfast, and we are so glad we did. We were met with a very pleasant welcome and served some amazing cooked breakfasts. Very reasonable prices as well. We will definitely be visiting this little gem again when we are in the vacinity.

Great place to visit for a "full English" or butty ... staff always friendly willing to accommodate any changes to the standard menu items ... always visit when in the area

Un pequeño, pintoresco café que es fácil perderse, pero vale la pena observar. Sólo he tenido desayunos desde aquí pero son siempre espectaculares. Unas raciones enormes, gran relación calidad-precio, no grasienta, perfecto. Estoy 100% seguro comidas principales sirven sería igual de bueno! El personal es educado y amable y los precios son buenos!

Yo y mis dos hijos estaban atrapados en Thorne durante una hora y de haber pasado 2 semanas en Egipto que tenía muchas ganas de conseguir un buen desayuno por mí. De alguna manera fuimos 2 pasado en la parte principal de la ciudad y me encontré con esta pequeña joya.El espacio era limitado, pero estábamos contentos de sentarse en las mesas de fuera, aunque no era exactamente cálido.Las porciones eran generosas y la comida estaba preparado bien, no nos podemos quejar. Me dieron una taza grande de café que estaba todavía caliente cuando termine mi desayuno incluso nos sentamos afuera! ! ! El hombre que sirve fue muy amable y no podía hacer lo suficiente para nosotros. Los precios eran muy baratos.Soy poco probable conseguir atrapados en Thorne de nuevo, pero si no le apetece un desayuno, y volveré.

Mi segunda visita aquí para un rápido durante el trabajo y tocino butty no perdió ninguna de su calidad. Desayunos excelentes y clientes muy satisfechos. Había una corta espera, ya que el lugar estaba lleno, ya que normalmente es pero no importa esperar para un gran desayuno.

I've nipped here a few times and this is by far one of the best places in the area to get a bacon butty. The staff are always friendly and there's always customers in there, no matter what time you pop by.
