Habiendo vivido en Doncaster para siempre, ¿cómo no hemos estado antes en los Old Butchers? Fabulosa bienvenida, servicio y comida en una mañana de domingo. Comida fresca y de muy buena calidad. Called for an early lunch on Wednesday afternoon. It was very busy but luckily managed to get a table. This place is my favourite go to for breakfast or lunch. The guy is a chef… not a cook. The food he turns out… it’s fantastic. More like something you’d get in a fancy London restaurant not a little cafe in Thorne! We ordered quiche , bbq chicken toastie and chicken and leek pie and everything was perfect. All homemade, the chicken in the pie melted in the mouth. Best chips around and my quiche had a really tasty side salad with balsamic glaze. I keep saying I’m going to try a theme night here but haven’t got round to it yet, but it’s definitely something I need to try… the photos look amazing. The waitresses are always really friendly too… very clean establishment…. Best cafe in Yorkshire!!

Lovely place and lovely food highly recommend a visit. Would definitely recommend trying the afternoon tea.

Lovely little cafe - been a few times now, for three of us, lunch (Jacket potatoes / quiche etc) and drinks was £20 ish. Jacket Potato (didnt have my choice of topping when I went!) come with salad. Potatoes were lovely! Nicely decorated and airy - The walled gardens outside (dementia friendly) are lovely, some aspects of the gardens are very neglected though and do look scruffy.

We had our first get together since March. Social distancing we had a great morning. Friendly staff. Best hot chocolate ever and cake. Definitely be back whenever we can

My partner and I came here to 10am on Saturday for some breakfast with our dog. We absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, the ladies were so lovely and the decor was incredible blues memorabilia… my eyes lit up as a musician! Our dog, Shadow, also loved some treats from the ladies. We will be back for sure!

Really good cafe handy for Doncaster train station Good breakfasts and dinners made here Saturday 25th February 2023 I again visited this fantastic spacious cafe This place rightly has a good local following Great value food not just brekkies great staff good lighting and most importantly food well cooked and good clean surroundings to eat in Friday 23rd December 2023 I again was in Doncaster, and it was a must to have a no 3 breakfast at this magnificently run spacious clean and friendly cafe All i said on my last visit was the same today Not just breakkies great, but all food prepared and sold here Friday 15th August 2024 The cafe, as usually by me, was again visited This great Doncaster cafe is as always a sheer pleasure to eat in a clean, well organised with great staff and local clientele as always served a good amount of well prepared food I got the Big Breakfast for 10 quid pictures of place and food got today on cafes sight Saturday 26th April 2025 Yet again, we used this fantastic cafe here in Doncaster. i had the all in 9quid big breakfast picture put on site This place never lets me down and is a great great place to eat in. It is always great, and what previously said in my reviews is still relevant

Este es un pequeño salón de té encantador con comida muy sabrosa. Sólo hemos comido bocadillos y pasteles, pero todos han estado deliciosos. El personal es muy amable. Es un gran lugar para detenerse cuando se utiliza el A 1 M - la única desventaja es que no siempre hay mesas disponibles debido a su popularidad. La tienda de la granja es fantástico también, y es difícil de visitar sin comprar algo!

I haven't been to Tickhill for ages. I tried Sarah Lou’s Coffee Shop & Bistro 16a Castlegate, Tickhill, Doncaster DN11 9QU The Cafe used to be called Daisy's in the village. I had Cheese, Tomato and Onion Panini with Coleslaw, Side salad and crisps. Drink: Diet Pepsi My PA had a full English breakfast with a latte. Nice little coffee shop inside. Thank you to Sarah and the staff for the lovely food and great service 😊

After hearing so many great reviews about the Daily Bread cafe in Christ Church, I thought I’d try it for myself. My mum and I went this lunchtime. As someone was taking an order we noticed that it was table service, and went back for a menu as there were none on the tables. The menu looked impressive and we decided what we wanted, expecting someone to come out shortly to take our order. However, although I counted 4 staff members, not one of them acknowledged us. One person brought coffees to a table, then proceeded to chat to customers without clearing their table. She then proceeded to have a long conversation with a family on another table then disappeared behind the counter. The gentleman there was taking payment from customers then asked her to take our order as we were waiting. She proceeded to potter about and ignored him (and us) and didn’t leave the counter. The next staff member came out from the kitchen and stood behind the counter doing nothing. The gentleman then left the till and went into the main church area and didn’t take our order either. So the food may have been excellent, but we didn’t get to find out. After 20 minutes of these staff members completely blanking us and not even giving eye contact or acknowledging us we walked out. There are plenty of better places in Doncaster to eat, so I would suggest go there. The good May have been delicious…but we didn’t get chance to find out.

I popped in here to get some takeaway lunch and had the quiche and salad offer which was delicious and great value. We often order breakfast sandwiches from here and they are always very tasty! I think I will start visiting more often for lunch now too after today's food so I can try more of their lovely looking salads.

Just want to make you aware of these people who own this place.... i did clean there windows.. and first i cleaned one of there windows they watched me clean them, then when it came to pay me for cleaning them, they said they didn't want them cleaning anymore having watched me clean them.... then the second time around they did exactly the same again..... they could of stopped me before i started to clean them... absolutely very sneaky disgusting.... that's the sort of people these are!!!!
