Absolute gem, the best cafe in town and beyond. Excellent coffee, beautiful food and oh the cakes! They are now starting to sell alcohol and are rumoured to offer some evening cocktails and bite to eat soonđž đž đž đž đž The atmosphere is unchallenged, warm and welcoming, so one has to keep returning..

Probably the best trackside bar Iâve visited. Something for everyone to drink plus the added bonus of đ passing by. Well worth stopping off from your journey to call in or even missing your connection like I had no hesitation doing. If in doubt what to drink, order a 3 x 1/3 paddle of beer. You can even mix your cask and craft.

Este lil café tiene los mejores granos en tostadas y el personal es tan amable que me encanta ir después de explorar el museo y mirar los trenes

I popped in here to get some takeaway lunch and had the quiche and salad offer which was delicious and great value. We often order breakfast sandwiches from here and they are always very tasty! I think I will start visiting more often for lunch now too after today's food so I can try more of their lovely looking salads.

After hearing so many great reviews about the Daily Bread cafe in Christ Church, I thought Iâd try it for myself. My mum and I went this lunchtime. As someone was taking an order we noticed that it was table service, and went back for a menu as there were none on the tables. The menu looked impressive and we decided what we wanted, expecting someone to come out shortly to take our order. However, although I counted 4 staff members, not one of them acknowledged us. One person brought coffees to a table, then proceeded to chat to customers without clearing their table. She then proceeded to have a long conversation with a family on another table then disappeared behind the counter. The gentleman there was taking payment from customers then asked her to take our order as we were waiting. She proceeded to potter about and ignored him (and us) and didnât leave the counter. The next staff member came out from the kitchen and stood behind the counter doing nothing. The gentleman then left the till and went into the main church area and didnât take our order either. So the food may have been excellent, but we didnât get to find out. After 20 minutes of these staff members completely blanking us and not even giving eye contact or acknowledging us we walked out. There are plenty of better places in Doncaster to eat, so I would suggest go there. The good May have been deliciousâŠbut we didnât get chance to find out.

Access to the hotel on the front via a ramp, (it's got those blind bumps on it.) The doorway is double doors so you may need to open both to get in. Bar area is fairly clear and the bar is clear of tables so you can get to it. The toilet was a little tight turn into it, but very usable. I used the side room, which was dated yet purposeful.

Having been twice before we decided to go again after the afternoon at the theatre. At 5pm it was rowdy and the service was terrible. It was full of groups doing bottomless brunch. Not a suitable place for a family to dine. The swearing and behaviour was terrible and the restaurant didnât do anything to control it or to keep families separate. Waited 15 mins to order drinks and another 10 mins is for them to be served. Amongst other things we ordered king prawns in shells⊠no napkins, no finger bowl. We had to ask twice for a napkin. Meanwhile our prawns went cold. We also ordered a pasta dish with chicken. The chicken didnât come. So had to ask for that. When it arrived Iâd finished the pasta and was left with chicken. We ordered two aperol spritz - they tasted like soda with hardly any aperol and certainly no Prosecco. They did correct them and they were then nice - but itâs not that hard to make a nice aperol. Service was slow on top of the mishaps. The staff are all barely out of school and just donât care. One positive was that the food was nice. I wouldnât return unless they sorted the staff out as I think this is what the issues boil down to. The staff theyâve chosen and the lack of management is going to unfortunately ruin the reputation of this nice restaurant. Rethink the bottomless brunch/decide what you want to be. You canât be both a nice classy restaurant and offer bottomless brunch - not at least without separating the two and having some noise control.
