Great food, great service, lovely staff. A shame the table next to us were rude when ordering, no please, no thank you, no manners whatsoever. Even my 8 year old commented! I do feel for the staff, they don’t deserve bad manners. We’ve had lovely visits here before and today was again a great visit too, we will definitely be back!

We caught the bus from Long Ashes to Burnsall, had a walk round the village and popped into Riverbank for a coffee and cake. Delightful and well worth a visit.

Started the morning walk with a smile and great welcome from the owners. We had coffee and raspberry and almond slice, all very nice. Returned for lunch and had super Wensleydale cheese sandwiches with homemade pickle and salad - I’m not normally a salad fan in the colder months but the lettuce etc was all lovely and fresh and crispy and I really enjoyed it. I can see why folk like this cafe.

We visited on the bank holiday weekend and had 2 breakfasts one with tea one with coffee. It was freshly cooked and excellent quality. The service couldn't be faulted. Value was superb. What a gem of a place. We will be back!

This is one of our go to places for breakfast/lunch or cake. Breakfast was really good as always. Gingerbread cake I bought to take home was the best I've tasted.

We are from the north east of England newcastle We came here on Saturday afternoon our group was was family and friends the service was ok not friendly enough really for new customers . We sat in the beer garden which was lovely but left two of our girls in the bar we all brought drinks a couple actually .... they weren't rude or loud but they decided to charge their phones for a little while as we were staying at a near by campsite .... WiFi is important to our younger lot this generation especially . we were going to book for Sunday lunch but unfortunately the manager was a bit rude to our two younger people asked them to unplug there phones 📱 not a please at first . but what harm were they doing when we must of spent at least a £100 pound between us sorry but the young man served us polity but the older guy behind the reception of the hotel wasn't that welcoming and rude we would love to come back but hey what's a bit of polite service ...... at the end of the day

We stopped here for breakfast on our walk from Bolton Abbey to Grassington and back. The breakfast was incredible and just what we needed to fuel the day, we didn’t need much after that because the portions were huge. We usually ask for an extra sausage but we definitely didn’t need one 😂. We brought some brownies for the walk but they didn’t make it out of the barn, they were that good. We will 100% be back when next in the area.

Joined the que to get an ice cream served in a large sugar cone loved the smarties ice cream and raspberry flavour so had both. Great value . Well done to the lad serving he was on his own serving non stop

This inn has been recently taken over and I have just arrived home from spending a long weekend there. Our room was immaculate with beautiful views. The food was tasty and nicely presented. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. I would not hesitate in recommending The New Inn Appletreewick to anyone wanting to stay in a very special part of God's Country.
