Always amazing ice cream and one of our first stops when we visit Burnsall. Steve and Michaela are a fantastic couple. Lovely flavours of ice cream at great prices. Thanks as always, even better on a hot day!

Excellent ice creams. Quirky little old fashioned shop! Great choice of flavours, many toppings, good price. Walked down to the river side which is literally 2 mins away. Great setting, loved it.

Nice enough, outdoor seating pretty much allowing social distancing. However, the coffee we were served was very below par......more like a cup of sweetened warm milk.

Came across this little haven, or heaven, at the UCI cyclin* champs last year. Thought the cafe would be open. It wasn’t. Next door, Pie Heaven. Coffee, pie and peas. First day open. Excellent, good people, good food

Whilst cycling in the dales I stopped at Burnsall to watch the UCI cycle race pass. All I wanted was a quick coffee but on entering the little emporium on the green I was greeted by the fantastic smell of fresh pies and pasties. So I had said coffee and an award winning pie, whilst the young cyclists flashed passed. I was served by 2 jolly individuals behind the counter who could not have been more helpful. Its nice to get a smile and a chat, not all cafes in the area are as jolly and accommodating and good value too

I had an ice cream from here on a visit with friends over the summer, including some ice cream aficionados, and everyone was very impressed both by the quality and range of flavours. It is in such a beautiful setting across from the green, bridge and river, os ideal to wander and enjoy an ice cream

My 3 year old asked me for an ice cream with a blue cone whilst be were having lunch in the cafe next door. I said I don’t think there is such a thing. I was wrong. This ice cream parlour had different coloured cones to suit everyone. My older nieces even had coloured toppings to match their cones and a bubblegum too. The lovely gentleman gave us a little tub of ice cream for my 1 year old free of charge and extra bubblegums for my 11 year old niece when she accidentally dropped hers. Such a lovely warm welcome and service along with a yummy ice cream helped make our family day out all that more special. Thank you!

Having had a long walk and whilst the adults enjoyed a cuppa and cake. The kids chose icecream. Now my kids ask so many questions, talk people to death and generally are so nosey that people dont have time for all that. Trying to open up these guys were running around, with my kids talking them to death, they were kind, talked and joked with the kids and basically made them feel so welcome. On top of that they had icecream. Flavours so many to choose from. Put your own juice ontop too. My kids were in heaven.

Gorgeous little cafe with super friendly staff. I ordered a GF toastie and the owner came to check whether it was an intolerance or an allergy, which I really appreciated! The food was absolutely delicious and my friend and I felt so comfortable. Highly recommend!

We've visited many times and chosen from the breakfast menu which has always been first class. However today I decided to choose a punjabi lunch special which was brown lentil Dahl yogurt, salad and freshly made chapati, oh my word it was first class. Well worth the 36 mile round trip. The owner & waitress are lovely, so friendly and helpful and seem very genuine that you enjoy your visit. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

Excellent, efficient and attentive service. Food was fresh and plentiful. I would heartily recommend. We hadn't booked, just found it by chance - will go back and have already spread the good word to others !

My first visit to this pub and what a change from many of Skiptons tourist orintated watering holes a true"local". Excellent choice of cask beers and some quickfire crac with the barman. I'll be in again.
