What a welcome from the comprising Gaye, Chris and Jo. Super breakfast at the King’s Head Hotel and as I walk out onto Masham square, after my sumptuous breakfast, I feel ready to face the day. I’ve just been to Harveys at Holmfirth for a late lunch in chose to have the tapas which I must say was absolutely bob on we was lucky enough to be served by a very bubbly and friendly young lady called Tilda I would definitely recommend this bar /kitchen if you are thinking of dining out great food good atmosphere and relaxing music !!!! It’s a 10 from len 👍

Spent a lovely weekend here , room amazing and facilities great . Breakfast was huge and gorgeous . Staff friendly and even managed to find a ring and return it to me , I can’t praise this place enough . It’s an absolute gem .

Booked a table online which was very simple to do. We arrived for our meal and the staff were very welcoming and we sat at our table straightaway. Service was great and quick. We didn’t wait long for drinks and our starters came soon after. The main course arrived not 5 minutes or so after the starters had been cleared. A great all round service and highly recommended for nice Italian food.

Two ladies having lunch midweek. The cafe was fairly busy and filled up quickly. We both had toasties which were very tasty and well presented. We shared a bowl of home cooked piping hot chips. Excellent food. Carolynne, took our order and served the food, she was so welcoming, chatty and proficient. We didnt feel rushed whatsoever,lovely atmosphere too. We are going again soon and will book this time to make sure we dont miss out. Thank you The Cafe Bar

This place deserves a good review. Superb full English & good cafetière coffee. Loved the whole vibe, the music the setting and the food too. A brucey bonus that it was dog friendly as we were walking the Cleveland Way with ours.

This Inn is cosy and welcoming. Dog friendly and Pete & Co are charming and honest. Food is AMAZING and will 100% stay again

Oh wow! This place hits the spot in so so many ways! The service is brilliant (all the staff are super friendly, attentive and efficient) and the food is great. You might have to queue to get a table (we didn’t as we arrived fairly early) but the wait is well worth it. I had the avocado on sourdough bread (topped mine with two poached eggs) and it was fabulous-the kids had pancake stacks….light and fluffy with the best ever berries, and the son and his OH had the eggs Royale which they usually have. Luckily we visit often from Whitby and I think this will be a regular thing. Can’t wait to try an evening session…… I have to say I’m glad to have found somewhere in York that does great food at reasonable prices as we have ditched Betty’s for good (overpriced and mediocre) and Robinson’s will be our “go to” place from now on.

Well. I'm 62 years old and been eating bacon sandwiches all my life. I have got to say that the Bacon and black pudding sandwich I had at this lovely little cafe was the best I have EVER had!! Ok it was £8 but the home made bread,3 rashers of dry cured back bacon and a nice slice of Doreen's black pudding was marvellous. My wife also had the most amazing gluten free chocolate torte. Staff were also very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going back very soon .

We had Sunday lunch today and it was delicious, very tasty, the staff and environment are 1st class. I had beef and my husband had lamb, they also do vegetarian. I have been several times and it’s never let us down. Masham is a lovely place to visit and the station cake is the icing on the cake 👍 recommend 100%

Always a good stop. New owners have an excellent menu, beautifully prepared food including the infamous home made chips & local pies etc. our waitress was friendly & efficient. A lovely lunch, we will be back. Tina, Michael & Millie the Schnauzer

Friendly staff, great service. Beautifully decorated with an Easter theme. We had sandwiches and hot melts, all very tasty. The coffees were delicious too. Really enjoyed the visit, thank you!

Fab friendly cafe! The best scone I’ve tasted in a long while, and served with proper cream and a yummy jam. My partner is coeliac and said the GF cake was great. Excellent coffee too :)

Service was as quick, attentive and polite as you’d hope for without being overbearing at all. Food was exceptional (large full English breakfast, only for big appetites) and was very quick out of the kitchen even though all clearly freshly cooked! Wife had the veggie Spanish breakfast (can’t remember the name but egg on top of Smokey beans, peppers etc…) and that was equally as lovely according to her

Been here a few times and it always delivers on great service and great food, cooked right there in open area of the kitchen. I went for the Belly Pork with mustard Potatoes, veg and Black pudding an absolute delightful meal, the wife went for the Chicken Breast with a Salad and pasta which had a great yoghurt sauce again a lovely meal.
