Bland. No spice. No heat. No taste. Contemporary seems to mean mild and boring and bland. Not what i want when I want a curry!

The food here is amazing, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The surrounding are beautiful.

We came here for an anniversary meal, we had our 1st date in this pub 30 years ago to the day!! The food was lovely, and, as at all the other paragon venues we go to, the service was excellent! Thank you for making the evening special!

Good traditional pub with quality, well kept beers and cobs available from behind the bar. Nice areas to sit outside too when the weather suits.

As usual good food, home made mushroom soup and a well filled tuna sandwich for £6 and husband had bacon, sausage and mushroom sandwich which was very filling. Service good and great selection of cakes to take home. Dog friendly which suits us.

Had a sandwich at a lunch time, was great food and service was good. Plenty of parking, great location and surroundings. Would go again.

Not from around here visited Costa Coffee In Telford Centre Asked for a Ice Latte they put sugar syrup in it? Returned to a location and told in a rude manner we don't put sugar in it and im lying yet I visit Costa Daily so I know what's what? Also told im lying about buying it what a awful Costa Location took it back elsewhere and it was remade hassle free? Why couldn't this store keep a professional manner... Also very rude male manager won't be visiting again

Just a quicky ! We were filming on Monument 2 lake at RH Fisheries and ordered breakfast from the Boxwood Cafe. FANTASTIC, delivery was as planned, breakfasts were superb tasty and still hot on arrival. Keep up the good work !

Fantastic service with brilliant food everything was cooked perfect from the steak to the eggs and chips absolutely beautiful!! Great friendy service from thomas and porché.

Sadly this pub/restaurant is now closed .I went there with my family aged 12 to 76 . The menu had very good choices of starters mains and desserts. The food was beautifully cooked. The service was excellent, friendly but not overbearing or hurried. The pub is a very clean quaint old English pub with nooks and crannies. My brother and son loved the fact it was a free house and had a good selection of ales and beers. I will defiantly be going back for another meal on my next family visit to the Telford area.( 2014 )

Not many places have good quality and quantity but this place has both! Great service, friendly staff and the puddings were to die for! Will definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful cafe. I went there for a rest after a rather traumatic car journey and all the staff were wonderful. They straightaway brought me a glass of water and a cup of tea and toast. I had to insist on paying for it. I was able to relax before carrying on with my journey.

Paramos aquí para un aperitivo, buen menú, los bocadillos estaban bien llenos y fresca, con una variedad de pan, un montón de asientos pero elegimos sentarnos afuera, ya que las tiendas estaban muy antiguo e interesante.

Must visit place, very friendly locals and staff. Food and drink was perfect and very well priced
