Honeypotcafe in Telford and Wrekin

Absolutely horrible service here.. Came for a lovely 1 year anniversary meal with my boyfriend and accidentally ordered 3 drinks and then went to the bar to get a refund and refused it as it was already poured but it could of just been put onto waste ( I work in the hospitality industry I know these things) and as we got round to drinking the last drink it smelt horrible as if it hadn’t been cleaned and then the drink didn’t taste nice one bit we both took a sip it was absolutely disgusting and took it to the bar and again refused a refund and just poured us another drink when all the glasses was dirty and it was just horrible the fact they wouldn’t just refund one drink which was £3 not cheap when my boyfriend was paying and that was the last of his money the food was lovely but just the 1 drink issue I’m really disappointed as I’ve come here multiple times before and it’s been fine it was the last of our trip to finish off as we leave in the morning and I’m just overall disappointed

Slow service, seemed to be 2 members of staff hanging a round the bar and only one serving. Bar area very cold. Asked to move tables because the one we sat at was reserved (no reserved sign) in the hour I was there no one used the table

Not many places have good quality and quantity but this place has both! Great service, friendly staff and the puddings were to die for! Will definitely return.

Sadly this pub/restaurant is now closed .I went there with my family aged 12 to 76 . The menu had very good choices of starters mains and desserts. The food was beautifully cooked. The service was excellent, friendly but not overbearing or hurried. The pub is a very clean quaint old English pub with nooks and crannies. My brother and son loved the fact it was a free house and had a good selection of ales and beers. I will defiantly be going back for another meal on my next family visit to the Telford area.( 2014 )
