We tried this restaurant firstly by having a takewaway delivered and enjoyed it so much we had to have a meal sitting in and were not disappointed. The food is amazing and the staff are great . We have since been back and will be going again very soon.

Beautiful pub with friendly staff and a nice selection of drinks. The food was exceptional. Fabulously light and flavoursome pizza made from the best ingredients. Followed up with stunning Cannoli to finish too. All for really reasonable prices An absolute treat of a dinner.

Every couple of weeks, I meet up with my daughter to enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast and a good catch up, without any interruptions from the grandchildren. This week we wanted to try somewhere different and each of us had identified Sofia's as the place to try. My expectations were surpassed. Superb breakfast, generous portions, immaculately presented, very friendly staff with swift, efficient service. Although just a small part of the meal, the hash browns were the tastiest I have ever experienced. The dining area is most spacious too, so chances are one will find a table even at the busiest of times. We will return and try something from the lunch menu on that occasion. An utter gem of a place, very highly recommended.

Me and my partner stayed here for 9 nights. My partner is from the area and so was a perfect location and right on the side of the canal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to my disabilities. We managed to book the accessible room which was perfect for us. Large bed, a lot of room around and a wet room for the bathroom. The room was clean and tidy when arriving and fully stocked on things we may need. Are room opened onto the beer garden which was great through the day and not too loud on a night. I would 100% recommend staying here. Left a suggestion of maybe offering food at times as we are takeaways most nights which can get expensive but other than that it was great.

This place is amazing. We went in for a cup of tea on Saturday 12th April 2025 and decided to try the cakes. So glad we did, I had the damson and gin cake and my husband had the Voctoria sponge. Wow just wow they were amazing, made by the owner and not bought in. Definitely reccomend this place.

Rather than the usual Saturday full English, we thought we would try the Park Street Kitchen for a change. Unfortunately, it was a rather underwhelming experience. We tried a few dishes, my wife had the jerk fries and I had the southern fried chicken. We also had salt fish fishcakes and "grumplings " dumplings in curry goat gravy. The fries were OK though perhaps slightly undercooked. The southern fried chicken had been microwaved and was rather tepid in temperature. If it had been fleshly cooked, with the rice and peas and veg, it was rather disappointing. Similarly, the salt fish fishcakes didn't seem particularly fresh. I've eaten Caribbean cuisine in a number of restaurants and occasionally cook it myself. This could have been so much better.

Friendly staff, lovely food. Scrambled eggs on toast, lovely. Even going in for a coffee is a pleasure. I would throughly recommend. Entrance to the cafe is through the Mall, which is worth a visit.

Let me tell you about this fantastic coffee shop in Oakengates in Telford. I needed somewhere to host my family after the internment of my mothers ashes. Looking around we couldn't really find anywhere with that homely feel until we found BRB. After contacting the business we had set a date and abut a week before i contacted Abbie at BRB for final arrangements. On arrival the rooms were dressed and laid out with a beautiful afternoon tea. The food was glorious, home made cakes and savories all beautifully served on tea plates and carousels. Tea & Coffee was plentiful and soft drinks served in reclaimed bottles which added a lovely touch. Thank you to everyone at BRB for hosting us, lovely people with a excellent business, its a shame i live so far away! This would be my weekly haunt. I wish you every success, see you again soon.

A lovely evening at our Wrekinsport Cycling Club presentation evening last night. They chose The Orange Tree within Telford College as the venue. The students were wonderful and the food was lovely. I didn't know this little place was there. A little advertising plug for this lovely little place. X

Three of us called in here on Tuesday 8 April as we were staying nearby and thought we could get a nice meal. Well it was only then we found out they do not serve any meals on a Monday or Tuesday as so with that in mind we had dipped out. Anyway as we had walked from our guest house here we sat down and did enjoy the lovely characteristic atmosphere and enjoyed a drink. While we sat and had a drink we discussed were we could eat locally and found that all pubs in the area never served food Monday or Tuesday. We finally drank up and I had walked back to our accommodation and collected the car for our venture further afield to find food. I would say it would have been handy on the pubs website and TripAdvisor for a note against opening times to say NO FOOD served on Monday or Tuesday as that would have been helpful information to know!!
