We'll Bee Right Back to this place! Lovely little cafe in Oakengates that is a hidden gem, that would highly recommend but would also want to keep for ourselves! Ordered a large Maple Bacon Pancake and expected one large pancake but got three! Amazing. Asked if the are dog friendly, and they are...and for the first time in a long time, our little rescue dog Luna fell asleep, because she was so at ease with the atmosphere and environment, which doesn't normally happen. Safe are amazing, food is awesome, will be making it a tradition.

I really liked this little cafe as its priced right serving lovely cakes excellent coffee and decent breakfast and lunch menu. My sister and friend had tea served in a China tea pot and china cups. It's the little things that make the difference. My bacon sandwich was made how I would make it so top marks for that. This little family buisness deserves the support its getting as they were busy on a Thursday at 11.45am. If in Oakengates I would definitely visit again.

Brilliant breakfast and even more brilliant cakes (pumpkin spice is decadent). The cakes!!! An old time, homemade taste, like my Gammy used to make. Cannot recommend enough. 2x breakfast (dine in) and 2x takeaway slice of cake around £24 for the lot. BARGAIN! We've been 2 times in 2 months as a treat on the way out for a day out in Wales. This looks to be a shaping up for regular monthly visit.

I was invited to a birthday party in this place. They arranged for afternoon tea. Oh what a lovely tea party it was ! They had beautiful tea set, plates and utensils. The food was awesome. We had freshly baked warm scones, cream, jam, sausage rolls, cheese cake, brownies, tea, juice and a freshly baked birthday cake! The food was served in beautiful china tea set. The decorations of the birthday party was lovely. We were 11 in total and we enjoyed our time there. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere

Wow where do I begin! We accidentally came across this place last autumn and have gone back ever since! A lovely environment, delicious food , great choice on the menu. Pancakes are the best I’ve ever had . Always made to feel welcome , staff friendly and approachable. Daniel and Sarah are the kindest people and my daughter is especially fond of them both , always calling them by their name. Thanks for having us and no doubt about it we will see you soon!

The best place for lunch and breakfast! Not only that they offer catering and provided it for my late nans funeral. Birthday cakes and cheesecake for every member of the family. A firm favourite and to everyone I recommend too

My husband and I had lovely coffee and cake this morning. The fruit cake was moist and home made. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Thankyou.

Very clean, lovely staff who made us very welcome. Great menu and the best gluten free choice I have found The pancakes with maple syrup and bacon were freshly made perfection, I ordered the large - a small would have been more than enough as the portions were very generous, and despite being very full I ate the lot. Why? Because not only were they delicious, they tasted ‘ normal’, not even a hint of the aftertaste we coeliacs have come to expect and have to tolerate . The tea ( and there is an amazing choice), was exactly what I asked for, strong and perfect. If this is not enough to encourage customers to return, the prices are very reasonable, the full English looked so good that it won’t be long before I am back and ordering one for myself

Delicious pancakes. Visited a few weeks ago and decided to try the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Not disappointed. Huge portion of deliciousness’s. Looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely relaxing visit yesterday. The cheesecake, coffee and milkshakes were delicious. It was very relaxing and chilled. Well worth a visit.

Lovely afternoon tea for my daughters birthday today. Would highly recommend! The scones were still warm 🤤 all food was fresh and plenty and great value. We will be back!

Delicious home made cakes, complimented with amazing coffee. Delicious breakfasts, the fluffy pancakes with bacon and the omelette's are my personal favourites. Dan & Sarah are amazing hosts and nothing is too much for them. 100% recommended.

Visited with my wife and son for a light lunch. Two excellent value small breakfasts and a cheese and onion toasted sandwich with very fresh mixed leaf salad. Fantastic variety of teas served in lovely china cups and teapot. Friendly and charming owner. Shame we had to resist the beautiful selection of home made cakes.

A lovely friendly place for an excellent breakfast, coffee, lunch or homemade cake. Try the filled pancakes with your own choice of fillings. To die for........ mine were filled with bacon, banana and ice cream... so scrummy.

Went for lunch today (takeaway) and ordered a Chicken Salad Pocket and an Iced Tea to take away. The drink was really really good and so was the food. Could not fault anything! The wrap was served in a take-away box with side salad and...

Visited this fabulous cafe. Excellent food and service. There is an excellent choice of teas and coffee. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend!
