Little Bengal Telford in Telford and Wrekin

I went last night to Little Bengal with a group of 8 people and sat upstairs in the restaurant. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly and attentive. The best customer service I have had in an extremely long time. All orders were correct and the food was excellent. The food was great value for money as well. There are many Indian restaurants in Telford but none are as good as Little Bengal.

Superb. I can honestly say, this was the best Indian food we have had in a very long time. Everything was just fabulous. It's not a big place, but as they say, the best things come in small packages. This is a jewel in the crown.

I had to ring the restaurant just to say thank you for such a beautiful meal. We had lamb pathia,lamb balti with rice and nan bread. We only ever use this restaurant because the food is just amazing. Always consistent every time. Thank you Little Bengal for our takeaway. Beautiful.

Had an amazing takeaway again tonight. Only one we use now, in fact I phoned them up after to say thank-you for our meal because it was beautiful. I've been using this restaurant for over 20 years and the food is always consistent. Thank you Little Bengal for your amazing food..

Haven't been to the restaurant yet but decided to order a takeaway from here for the first time a few weeks back, The food was amazing and the portions were good. This is the only curry house i will be ordering from in the future highly recommended. I have had a few meals from there now and they have all been excellent.

We eat here all the time but the last two Saturdays had a takeaway as I was unable to go but unfortunately the curry was awful both times harsh and unpleasant we shall not be having a takeaway again I’m afraid

Ordered a takeaway this evening it came on time as well, it was a chicken tikka madras, it looked perfect but u fortunately it had no taste what so ever nothing, for a minute I thought I'd lost my taste, one thing they have got right is they've finally made the mint sauce white, never again sorry

Had a delivery Saturday night, ordered Chicken Malay, Lamb Malay, Meat Samosa, Peshwari Naan and Masala chips, everything was delicious, delivery was quick all food was hot and tasty, compliments to the chef, this will not be the last time I order from here and reccomend anyone to try Little Bengal. Very reasonable prices. Food tasted nice. Pleasant staff. Table layout makes it feel a little squeezed downstairs, but overall, it is still a comfortable experience. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic value and gorgeous food! The Daal was gorgeous and so garlicky! Whilst the Aloo Gobi was one of the best I have had in a long while

Being a huge fan of Indian cuisine, I can honestly say this is one of the nicest Indian restaurants I have visited in Telford. Beautiful, freshly cooked food in great time. Lovely friendly staff. Only thing I would have liked is some music to set the scene as it was a little quiet, apart from that I would give it 10/10. Can't wait to return

What an amazing little restaurant, this is definitely our favourite place as the food is amazing and always served hot. The staff are so friendly and happy which always makes for a lovely atmosphere. Can't fault anything about it and it's well deserved 5* in my view....

Had a takeaway tonight from Little Bengal (the first time for a while) the food was absolutely delicious and arrived nice and hot. Haven't been for a while as I don't live close anymore but so glad I decided to get it delivered. Really delicious flavors and plenty of it. Will be using again for sure!

We visited for the first time on 5th April which was last night, we walked in and I noticed straight away how warm and cosy it was, nothing worse than walking into a cold restaurant. The food was delightful, we eat a lot of Indian food and I can honestly say the amount of meat in my mixed madras curry was amazing. We will defo be going back and we will be ordering takeaway

Little Bengal is my new fave Indian. The food is soooo tasty. My curry had good amount of meat and veg in and tasted lovely. The masala chips are amazing!!! Naan breads packed with filling. All food was hot and fresh on arrival. It's very reasonably priced to... I paid around £7.50 for a chicken dupiaza with extra peppers. The same dish was £9+ from a nearby restaurant. Really great Indian and will definitey be going again👍

Went on 21st February to my surprise have a Banqueting offer for 3 course meal £11.95 Bargain Food on point and service was excellent left with a full belly and not so light wallet . Give it a try the management said they have taken over old restaurant and have been getting good local customers.

Fantastic place for both eat in and take away. Quality food and in my opinion one of the best local indian restaurants. I can happily recommend the Chicken Nepal for those who like a spicy dish as well as a Murghi Bhuna. Great decor and lovely friendly staff.

Amazing place, the food is fresh, delicious I had Naga curry the missus had chicken nawabi, starter was gorgeous I had mixed tandoori starter and tandoori king prawn, so fresh and delicious, service is second to non staff very pleasant and a lovely little hidden gem, value for money I cannot fault even left a £10 tip worth every penny Deffo gonna be my weekly endulgance now I cannot recommend enough

Just had the worst meal I've had from Little Bengal... when it was Bengal Spice the food was amazing. Now its less than mediocre. Luke warm food, thin watery sauce, tasteless.

We've been visiting this restaurant for many years but now there are new owners and a new name. The decor has been updated and it is clean and bright. As the new owners are still building up the business it was not too busy mid-week, but i'd imagine this will change as more people discover how good the food is! The restaurant offers take away and their delivery service seemed to be very busy when we were there. However, this did not affect our service and the food arrived quickly and was piping hot. We started with the Bengal Special Platter which was fabulous. Our mains were a Butter Chicken and Chicken Nepal both were generous servings with plenty of tasty chicken. The sides of Mushroom Pilau and Garlic nan were also spot on. As for value for money it was very good. The restaurant is bring your own alcohol so you are not paying over the odds for a beer or wine with your meal. There were no local shops sell booze open within walking distance, so best to make sure you plan ahead and get the drinks in before you arrive. All in all very good and we'll be back soon!

Super impressed with this takeaway. Had an issue yesterday surrounding delivery where I ended up waiting longer than I should have for delivery. At the time it left me very frustrated however today the manager Josh took the time out to call me and rectify the problem. They didn't have to do this and it made me feel like my business was very much appreciated. Can't fault that service at all. FYI food was absolutely amazing! Very happy :)

Had a Takeaway again last night Prawn Pathia Maddrass, Special Tandoori mixed Bhuna peshawar Naan with accompanying poppadoms and Salads. Absolutely Perfect delivered on time and piping hot.

Went last night with friends the food was very good , well presented & tasty. Under new management so getting re-establish as to its customer base. Ali & staff great at the front of house makes you feel more than welcome. Overall a good experience we will be returning .

Food quality poor, chicken tikka biryani was terrible, tasteless, and driver smelt of cannabis when he arrived, be warned people, stay away from this so called Indian takeaway.

Amazing food and service love this place

Either they have changed hands or it’s gone right down. Full of dripping Greece, burnt hard chicken tikka, Rice disgusting & onion bargie still cold in the centre. Tried calling for over an hour after receiving food but got no response will not be ordering again.

Poor. Chicken and lamb both tasted reheated. Sauces were OK, as were the breads and rice. Poor value overall, would not eat here again.

Never ordered from another Indian since i tried a Bengal Spice meal ,delcious meals every time 😁

The best Indian food/restaurant in the highstreet by far! Staff are well spoken and friendly, the place is very clean and well decorated it gives it a nice cozy feel. Food is prepared quick and in my experience has never disappointed. Would recommend to anyone who fancys Indian takeaway in this area.

Normally my local takeaway however today despite ordering my usual they sent an altered version that contained seafood which I’m allergic to. Tried to calm them to inform of this however put phone down on me saying yes contains seafood. Be warned they add ingredients that aren’t usually included and couldn’t careless when you to call them to say otherwise

Very tasty food, recommended to everyone. Chicken pakora is something you must try if you eat there, you will eat your fingers with it. The other dishes are also very tasty, recommended for everyone.

Not a good experience. No heating on was very cold. Very slow service. Cold plates and the food was luke warm. Won't be returning ☹

I've been having curries for the last 14 years from bengal spice tried many different curry's and this place is on top of the game beautiful food always. Very competitive prices and superb portions tried other curry houses but nothing compares

Been ordering from these guys for the last 10 years food is excellent never had a bad meal , service brilliant, staff brilliant. Andy will sometimes send complimentary starters. Butter chicken is my favourite plenty of meat in whatever dish you order. We never go anywhere else, have tried other take always but they never come close to Bengal Spice in Dawley.

Chicken Jalfrezi is good, but food quality depends on day of the week, Friday or Saturday seems to be the best day for me. Dawley is poor for Indian food. Bengal spice is one of the better Indians in Dawley.

Take Away delivered to the Fighting Cocks Oakengates. Good honest ale supplemented by awesome value and rich flavoured balti. My Begal Special was soooo tasty, masses of chicken, lamb (?) Prawns and a curly squiddy languistine critter thing..superb. Eccellent! Mart

One of the worst I've ever had. I'm not going to name drop, but we normally get ours from Oakengates, who are second to none. We tried something different, I'm sorry we did. Greasy chips, burnt naam bread, a disappointing jalfrezi and masala. Really bad customer service. Sorry guys. I won't be ordering from you in the foreseeable future. I hope for your sake you improve.
