Great staff, brilliant atmosphere, and an awesome selection of games and lovely food and drink! One of my favourite places to go!

Amazing atmosphere in here and the staff are absolutely, unequivocally fantastic and visually so good to their gamers/customers. Really yummy selections on the menu and ofcourse the GAMES! over 800 boardgames to choose from and purchasable merch too. If you're a fan of games and lovely humans too, get your butt here. We always have a great time.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to the staff here, they did an amazing job of accommodating me with a gluten-free and diary free option, they even allowed me to read every last label as a ceoliac that is honestly amazing and wish more places were this accommodating.

Well. We encountered ROLL at Attingham park with our 6 and 3 year old granddaughters and were literally blown away by the stomp rockets show. Fun, informative, educational and lively. We so enjoyed it and the girls were enthralled. Looking forward to visiting the cafe soon.

We always enjoy a visit to the Boardroom Gaming Cafe. Today (being a Friday) was fiver Friday. Representing excellent value for money for a table of 2 adults and 2 children. We played plenty of games, including chess (Minecraft Chess nonetheless!) Card games. Scrabble, Monopoly, Jenga and plenty more. A really fun way to end the half term holidays! The staff are lively, welcoming and full of tips on how to make the most out of games and even took the time to recommend new games we'd never played or considered before. We will be back again soon! This is a fun place. I was there to simply read my book and also have some tea and a sandwich for lunch. It has a great atmosphere, the staff are brilliant and friendly and there is a great selection of board games available for some good entertainment.

I came here to read my book and have a cuppa. It has good sandwiches and hot drinks and plenty of games for people. I noticed a Fallout board game which looks great for fans of the Fallout computer games and Amazon TV show.

Have been a couple of times now, great to see a little place like this in Telford. Have had a great experience on both visits, staff are friendly and helpful and there are loads of games to choose from

We visited today, having been meaning to go on our last few visits from Spain. They had a game we had been wanting to try for ages, Honey Buzz so that was a bonus but there were plenty of other games we could have tried if not. From the first phone call to book the table to play, to arriving and being served, the staff were simply top. What a fantastic place to have in little old Wellington! I hope it continues to do well. We will definitely pay another visit next time we are over. Only thing I would say is we are used to playing over a beer or two, no major drinking of course as I can’t win then 😬 but just the option for a casual beer while would be a bonus, and would probably have had us staying longer! We didn’t have any food today but the menu looked lovely ☺️ thanks for a lovely experience

What a lovely little fantastic place! We all hired the room for all the family to celebrate my brother in laws 40th birthday today and had a great time! Huge selection of games for all ages, everyone just had a great enjoyable, fun stress free lunch to celebrate his 40th birthday! Jon and Jenni and team were fab and service was quick and efficient! Will certainly be returning, thank you!

We had a few good hours of gaming in there on Friday. The whole team is super lovely and the food was very good. The game selection is also very good, with some proper games to get into. We had milkshakes, toasties and a slice of very nice vegan cake. It's a nice spacious space and very comfortable to sit in for hours. We will certainly visit again next time we're in Wellington!

The food here is amazing - there are food options for everyone including a good choice of vegetarian and vegan options. The build your own adventure allows you to customise your food so Is perfect for picky eaters and the volume and variety of games keeps me and my friend entertained. I have had my birthday party here (D&D one shot) and my friend and I already have our Christmas party booked. All the staff are super friendly and very accommodating - I look forward to my next visit.

Spotted a salted caramel vegan cake on display as we walked past so it would’ve been rude not to call in. The service was excellent and a fuss was made of our little dog. She enjoyed a puppachino. Really clean and welcoming. Most enjoyable visit.

After being informed of this establishment by my brother several months ago I kept it in the back of mind should a need arise, after recently starting to play the Pokemon TCG with my kids I ventured down on saturday to check the place out, I was welcomed by 2 of the staff members whom after explaining I was just there to check out the place they took the time to introduce me to various other staff, explain what they do relating to Pokemon and the various activities both myself and my children can do. Following the visit I went back last night for the first pokemon evening with my boys and brother, proceeded to play some games and the kids made some trades and thoroughly enjoyed it, I've then been informed of future events which would cater well towards helping my kids better play the game, spot fake cards and how to build decks. I cannot recommend enough as my experience so far has been nothing but amazing and all who work here have a clear passion for what they do! Keep up the great work all involved!

Really fun place to spend a couple of hours. Table and menu prices are reasonable and there's a very good range of games to play. Menu is slightly limited, but made up for by very friendly staff.

Staff is super friendly and helpful, amazing atmosphere, but when I have ordered coffee which was amazing and nachos. Sadly there were served cold and they were topped with cold grated cheese 😬, I hope that they'll be served properly in the future. All and all I will definitely be back.

First time visiting the boardroom cafe yesterday. What a fantastic experience. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and explained the idea of the cafe on arrival. The latte I had was very nice! Although it would be good to have different size options. The cake was lovely, and a ton of boardgames to choose from. We will definitely be back 😊

Not a single complaint, the staff are so genuinely lovely and friendly and make you feel so welcome. Amazing range of games for all abilities and your interests, staff are more than happy to help you find a particular game and offer tips if they're familiar with the rules. Food was really nice, I love their milkshakes. It usually fills up so if you're visiting on the weekend make sure to book a table. Will absolutely be visiting again, lovely place with the best staff!

This is such a special place for me, my friends, family and partner. We come to Boardroom whenever we can and always enjoy the games, boba/coffee, food and chat with the staff. The growth I have seen from here in the last year is amazing and they truly try to accommodate for everyone. Every community needs a place like this where all ages and abilities can feel comfortable- a cafe first and foremost with a huge menu including "build your own" options as well as Japanese specials- and then a sanctuary for people who want to play a vast variety of games with one or a group of friends (or even willing strangers). Not to forget there is also a manga library, local craft gifts and displays from local artists. The only advice I can give to someone visiting is to book a table beforehand if visiting on a weekend or school holiday as (I'm very proud to say) Boardroom gets booked up quickly.

This place is amazing, my son has adhd and asd, and they said if it gets too noisy for him they would find somewhere quieter for him. The staff are fab nothing is too much trouble. They have pecs cards hanging by the till for you to use if needed, this is super helpful. We ended up buying the year pass.

Been here with my daughter a couple of times now... really good atmosphere, and good selection of games for all tastes (not just ones with 100 pages of rules to play)... food and drink are good with a very friendly team - regular spot.

This is a great place for gaming, excellent food, and such a relaxed atmosphere. Everybody is so nice and it's exciting to see how things will develop, as I'm sure it will. Their passion for their art really shows. Well done to each one of you, for all your hard work and that you have continued success for many years. You deserve it.

Have visited a couple of times for a late breakfast. Had the Sausage Sandwich and wife had the Gluten Free Sausage and Poached Egg Sandwich. Really good quality and big portions on the GF. Very reasonably priced. Book need to book if visiting at weekends. Really friendly staff, nothing is to much trouble.

Never been to an establishment which is as welcoming as Boardroom Gaming Cafe. The staff are all so lovely and it doesn't matter who or what you are, you're treated like family ❤ There's something for everyone as they have a HUGE selection of games and there's always someone on hand to help you choose. They've also got a really nice selection of food and drinks which are really yum! I seriously cannot recommend coming here enough!

What a great find! Super friendly staff and a good selection of food and drinks. We shared a nacho platter and a couple of slices of cake which were both delicious. There's a good selection of board games and card games for adults and kids alike. We played four or five different games and they were all in good condition with no missing parts. Will be going back again soon.

What a fantastic undiscovered gem of a place! Great food and drink, great atmosphere, great theme, run by lovely people and, naturally, attracting lovely customers too. You don’t even need to be a board-gamer or any flavour of geek or nerd, as they’re open to everyone - but if these are words you happily ascribe to yourself, come here to meet people just like you! Oh and vegan options are great too!

Had a wonderful evening with friends playing some brilliant games with great food, including a nice range of vegan options. Lovely comfortable space, very welcoming and relaxed. Staff so friendly and lovely. It will definitely be a regular spot for us!

I just popped inside about 20 minutes ago and saw nothing but smiles. I saw they had a bubble menu and was given an excellent recommendation. If you love board games and chill vibes with a really soothing aesthetic this is the place you. 10/10

A very friendly place to visit if you're a big fan of animé comic books, food is nice and at a great value. Workers are very kind, thoughtful also in my experience of retail many companies could learn a lesson or two on what customer service is suppose to be 😅 Very clean and organized place aswell all round 10 tbh :)

Having had to take my youngest to Telford hospital for a fracture that needed replastering the rest of the family needed somewhere to pass the time and they found Boardroom...... and played games and relaxed until my youngest and I joined them. There was absolutely no rush for us to leave and they made us all feel extremely welcome....even providing my husband and I with an anniversary slice of cake as it was our wedding anniversary the next day. Jenni and Jon and their awesome mini boardgamer, Charlie (and their sister/in law whose name I didn't get - sorry) were super friendly and helped to turn what had started out as a rubbish first full day of our mini break away into a lovely evening. I saw my stressed husband visibly relaxing as the afternoon wore on and we decided to have our anniversary dinner there instead of waiting until the day itself. They definitely put the FRIENDLY into FLGS (friendly local game store) and we will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again.

Very impressed. The staff were lovely, choice of games is good. Food and drink was reasonably priced. We had a milkshake and a Pepsi max. Very clean, and well looked after. Toilet was very clean and had nice touches. Hoping to come back when we have another child free day!

Visited yesterday with my family and I cannot recommend this place enough. Wide range of games available to play and the atmosphere was lovely. Great drink range and all very reasonably priced. Also want to say thank you to the two members of staff who were working, you were both great and very approachable. It was lovely talking to you, can't wait to come back again.

Going to the boardroom cafe has been the most fun I’ve had at a cafe in forever! They’ve got tons of board game options, lots of food and drinks, bubble tea and an artists corner where they showcase the community’s art! What more could you possibly want! The staff in particular are incredibly inclusive and so polite. Harry, Fern and Emma were amazing; they catered to our large group of people even on a busy day and were so charming and fun to talk to! I could not recommend this place more!

I visited with a group of friends and we all had a good time. The team behind the counter were also really friendly and enthusiastic about their job, creating an atmosphere that was quite memorable.

We visited on Saturday and were really impressed. We called before we went to ensure a dog friendly table was available, and Kurt informed us there was one and he'd get it ready for us. From walking in the door we were looked after - everything was explained to us, we were given menus and told to help ourselves to the games - some childhood classics in there like Guess Who and Buckaroo which we just HAD to play. Our orders were taken, and the girls (dogs) given free puppicinos (a really lovely touch)! The food was fab and really reasonably priced and we spent a good 2hrs playing games, eating and having a good time. The vibe in the cafe is lovely and relaxed and Kurt and his collegues were really welcoming and lovely. We will be going back (I've told my mum I'll be taking her too) and would recommend this cafe to anyone - boardgamers or not, you will be welcomed and looked after. A huge thumbs up from us (and waggy tails from the girls)!

Went today so my partner could attend the pokemon session. Mid way through my partner went to play and I was on the table on my own and Harry approached and sat with me to keep me company and even offered to play a game with me so I would have some company. Atmosphere is lovely and chilled and the staff are really friendly and make you feel at ease. Would love to go again with a couple of other people to really get into a fun board game!

It was my first time going today: both my partner and myself had a wonderful experience. For starters the atmosphere was calming, neutral and academic yet didn't feel dull, there was a great deal of character coming from the foliage to the beautiful displays of both books/manga alongside the actual board games. The collection of board games was quite diverse with many newer, more modern games that you might expect to find in the possession of a hobbyist also being accompanied by the classics (Monopoly, Yahtzee etc.) which of course caters to the more casual gamer. My partner and I enjoyed a comfortable 2 hours - £3 for that length of time was a very affordable price I must add - playing Guess Who, this wasn't our first choice but was instead Mysterium however we found the game hadn't been put back in the correct manner meaning it would have taken up more of our time than we were comfortable with to set up the game to begin with (of course this is no fault of the staff as they, assumedly, had no idea of the inconvenience; we tidied up the box before putting it back so the next user could have the experience with it they deserved). Speaking of the staff, I found those present to be very welcoming, informative and timely with our orders - which themselves being of high quality - being delivered in a speedy manner with great service overall, they handled some more 'boisterous' customers with diligence; my entire experience was positive leaving me anxiously waiting for the next chance to attend the establishment. My one hesitancy comes in the form of the pricing of food, I think the pricing of the drinks was spot on for the majority of the menu, for the food was a bit more on the expensive side for my tastes however - and this is with the greatest emphasis - it was of a very high standard: in my opinion you are paying more than average for more than average food. My final thoughts are quite easy to put together, this might be the best addition to Telford as a whole in years: I hope it shall revitalise board gaming as a whole in our local community. Since leaving earlier this day I have spread the word among many of my companions who, just like me, have been waiting for such an inception for years and have given my highest praises in the knowledge that they too shall likewise have 5* experience at a 5* establishment. Boardroom Gaming Cafe has great potential to be a cornerstone of the Telford experience.

Both the food and coffee were excellent. Ellie and Chez kept our 1yr old son entertained, he loved the banana pancakes the team had cut up in advance, allowing us to enjoy our food and drinks at the same time. Plenty of board games available to play. Highly recommend the boardroom gaming cafe and shall be returning very soon!

Very much a family trip out for this type of thing. Overall the facilities are good, however upstairs toilets will reduce the ability for disabled persons to enjoy the café and come to play games. The games selection was ok, clearly a start out and will continue to grow, so something I will keep an eye on moving forward. But did provided myself and partner with some games to play and was enjoyable. Costing wise £3 per person for 2 hours is a a good price for the space, given the size of the Café. Costing for food and drink was very random though. £1 a can of pop is normal for café, but then £4 for a slice of cake, or £6.50 for a small snack..... was very much at the premium price point, a Full English at Sofia's is only £4.95..... Very much at would like to say I will return but the premium pricing detracts from an otherwise great new little café

I didn't like it. I went with my family today but we normally go to the other one in Bridgnorth. This one wasn't as good. It didn't have most of the games I like to play and I couldn't have what I wanted to drink. It was hot and stuffy and the toilets aren't signed. I have autism and I had to ask where it was which was really embarrassing for me and the toilet is upstairs so if you have problems with stairs i don't recommend it either. I hope it gets better so we don't have to drive to Bridgnorth but I think for now we will keep going to the other one.

I was quite disappointed by the experience on the whole. Having been a regular of the Board Room in Bridgnorth I thought I would try this one out. Sadly it doesn't compare. The atmosphere is very much like a standard cafe and a bit boring, the games are limited and there is probably about 1/3 of the choice as there is in Bridgnorth. It is also hugely overpriced for food and drink. £4 for a slice of cake, £6.50 for a tinned hot dog on a dry bun with some mediocre chilli, £2 for a tiny bottle of apple juice. So sadly the prices are about double what I am used to. The staff didn't seem very engaged in the whole process either and more just like a regular (and priced to rival Starbucks) cafe with some games inside. I honestly am disappointed and will stick to Bridgnorth Board Room where prices are fair, atmosphere is fun and staff are engaged in the concept/knowledgeable. It's a real shame but this just seems like a poorly planned gimmick they thought would make lots of cash rather than a concept they understand.
