Park Street Kitchen in Telford and Wrekin

Rather than the usual Saturday full English, we thought we would try the Park Street Kitchen for a change. Unfortunately, it was a rather underwhelming experience. We tried a few dishes, my wife had the jerk fries and I had the southern fried chicken. We also had salt fish fishcakes and "grumplings " dumplings in curry goat gravy. The fries were OK though perhaps slightly undercooked. The southern fried chicken had been microwaved and was rather tepid in temperature. If it had been fleshly cooked, with the rice and peas and veg, it was rather disappointing. Similarly, the salt fish fishcakes didn't seem particularly fresh. I've eaten Caribbean cuisine in a number of restaurants and occasionally cook it myself. This could have been so much better.

Reading these reviews this place doesn’t need talking up but I’ll do it anyways as I just had a burrito and cauliflower bites to go and they were both sooo good! It certainly brightened up my mood on this cold dull day. And the staff is super nice.

Absolutely love this place! Me and my boyfriend are addicted! The food is tasty, fresh and heartwarming. The portions are great and the staff are so welcoming and helpful, good vibes all around! highly recommend ❤️

I had the jerk chicken rice bowl and I can honestly say it’s the best chicken I have ever tasted!!!! The meat falls of the bone I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life One VERY HAPPY customer

We used Park Street Kitchen for a work based Black History month event, the food wnet quickly and all participant were raving about how yummy it was 😊 Emma was really good she worked with me to devise a selection based on my budget and delivered in a timely manner so we could set up in good time for the event. I will def be using PSK again

Well, just had the curry goat, rice n peas n salad. With a glass of sorrell n ginger. It was amazing, tasted authentic nice n spicy. The meat was SO tender. The glass of sorrell n ginger was the perfect drink to complete this meal. Well done Emma u took me back home to Jamaica.

Brilliant staff, Amazing food, so flavoursome and a lovely quaint establishment. Prices are equal to that of a chain establishment. the food (jerk burrito and fried chicken burrito (chef special)) had a home style cooked, whole, heart warming sensation. It was soul food!! Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be visiting again!

We love Caribbean food and were delighted to find this tiny eatery in the centre of Wellington. There are only about half a dozen tables but we have used the take-away service and not eaten in. Reasonably good selection of traditional Caribbean food, curries, jerk, salt fish etc. Very friendly owners cook the food in front of you quickly. They also advised on where we could get supplies and cooking techniques for trying ourselves. Delicious and highly recommended.

We hosted a conference in Telford and I needed to feed a large Staff Team. Found PSK online and decided to order from them. From start to finish, my experience with Emma and her team were Top class. The food was excellent in taste and very generous in portion sizes. They were professional and timely with their deliveries to us. We loved that Emma is using environmentally friendly containers etc. I can't rate this team or business enough... They provided food for the entire team for Friday dinner and lunch on Sunday, labelling everything and making sure all our needs and last minute changes were catered for without fuss. We had a range of food - curry goat, jerk chicken, stew chicken, vege options, saltfish fritters - all delicious... Oatmeal Rum cookies - OMG!! If we could give this team 10 stars we would all day long.. Did I mention the rum punch!!! Thank you Emma!!

The food here is absolutely delicious! It really is a tastebud treat. We had the host bowl and a portion of hot chicken wings. Had to take the chicken home as the portions are generous but for the quantity, you are not let down on quality. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

This is a great spot for a solo or a couple to dine in, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was very delicious and tasty I would recommend getting the curry goat, rice and peas and I definitely will be attending again.

We have been a regular at Park Street Kitchen since it originally opened in Wellington Market, the food is consistently delicious and the service has also been very good on every occasion. The jerk chicken thighs are amazing and we have even purchased the sauce to cook at home, the hot pickles are great to eat at home too. This place deserves to be busy all the time and we look forward to eating her again soon!
