The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Rugby West Midlands

Wednesday 2/4/2024 7pm. The beef looked great but it lacked taste and was very chewy. The Turkey was acceptable I guess but very ordinary. The Yorkshire pudding had obviously sat under the hot plate for too long and was brick- like and inedible. The rest of the vegetables were more or less ok but the cauliflower was under-cooked. The service was also ok but we were let down by the food on this occasion.

The food is really good and the place is great for lunch in the week with a big variety to choose from and highly recommend this pub to visit

Lovely Indian cuisine. Polite and friendly staff . Food excellent . Would recommend . Think the sign should say it’s Indian rather than a pub sign though

We, as a family cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful service and compassion that was shown to us when we had our wake after our mothers funeral. Room was all ready. Lovely and clean. Everything we asked for was provided. The food, teas, coffee, tv for screen showing all pictures. and speakers for music. lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything. You helped a sad occasion turn into a celebration of our mums life. X

Definitely more pub than restaurant. It was rather difficult to have a conversation over dinner. For those not accustomed to raising their voice, it became quite a strain. Having said that, the table which was reserved for us was positioned under the big screen, among regular socialising punters in an open space (conducive to noise). We could have moved outside, as the weather was fair, but we stuck with what we were given (before the place started to fill out). I don't doubt that if we'd have asked to move, it would have been accommodated. The service was good. The real stand-out feature of our meal was the food. While the options didn't appear to be anything special while choosing, the food was actually delicious and very nicely priced. Superb value for money! Just under £20 per person for a main, a drink, and a dessert. Mushroom Bourguignon pie, and Tikka Masala for mains. Crumble and Salted Caramel Brownie for dessert. The brownie is worth a special mention. Very good brownie, yum! We'd go again, but would perhaps request a better/quieter table.

Lovely friendly staff every time I visit aswell as my mother who goes a couple of times a week. Highly recommended especially if it's raining outside 🌭🥪🍳🥓🍟🍵☕🍼

I've been looking forward to coming to this restaurant for years, but not had the chance. The service was brilliant, waiting staff were prompt, friendly and professional throughout. The food, however, was a disappointment. It was fine, but when mains are mostly around £28, I expected more than what was mediocre. Both of our mains were under seasoned, a lot of the veg was undercooked, my fish dish was badly conceived, with no sauce, the inclusion of a roasted parsnip and a no capers, despite them being on the menu. Our side came without one of the key ingredients (roasted carrots with orange and pistachio, with no pistachio), but these were refunded. I usually always say a meal is fine to waiting staff when they ask, but this time I did give some quite frank feedback, as the food is not good enough for the price. It was the first day of a new menu, however the some of the issues I experienced were not to do with the menu (cooking broccoli and properly seasoning food is not that difficult!) Altogether disappointing!

Drove past and needed a take out coffee and cake. A very warm welcome awaited me, super speedy service and delicious cakes, didn't know what to choose so plumped for a pastry. Delicious coffee and would defiantly return if I am in the area.

Mmm well, this is the #1 rated service station in the uk, deserved? Absolutely not!!! Sure there's nothing wrong with it, some decent shops nice and friendly environment and clean toilets, however it had no McDonald's so how can it be justified that we give it the title of #1 in the country. Anyway let's talk about my experience here, I was on my way to Wembley to watch the reds play Newcastle, UP THE REDS and I needed a poo and a little stretch on my way. Firstly I would like to mention the vast amount of parking availability and the plethora (means lots of) charging points for you people who think ur saving the planet by having an electric car. As I walked into the station I noticed some nice seating with plenty of availability for those sitting in and eating, these seats were all clean with cleaning staff ready to pounce on any mess lurking. I devoured a boneless banquet from KFC ( Kentucky Fried Chicken) while there was a Greggs, Burger King, Prett and a Costa on offer as well, plenty of solid options for those travelling especially those with a variety of age groups. Cousin Carla speaking - they had M and s cookies available Cousin Owen speaking - hello I had a box meal containing mini fillet burger and popcorn chicken and chips may I say wonderful perfect amount delicious taste and not to greasy . The sirloin steak on the stone was absolutely delicious. The side dishes were equally tasty , the staff were friendly and very efficient. We shall return !

Now Istanbul Grill, 1/5 for food Hygiene. Staff that speak with an aggression and terrible food. I will never go back there. There is a wider issue here. Rugby has been taken over by poor takeaways and restaurants as well as a lot of thugs. Its a no go area for ordinary hard working people. This level of service in the takeaway will not do. I will not be spoken to with contempt. My days of going in to Rugby Town Centre and this joint are over.

Heute Abend waren wir zu 4 im Montys zum Essen. Es wird das erste und das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Die Preise sind echt teuer. Wenn es geschmeckt hätte wäre es ja gut gewesen aber das war leider nicht der Fall. Um etwas zu trinken zu bekommen haben wir uns nach 40 Minuten einmal gemeldet. Die Getränke 1 Cola,1 Cola Light und 2 Limo dauerten dann nochmal 15 Minuten. Essen bestellt. 4 Pizzen mit Käserand. 2 mit Käserand wurden zum tischgebracht und für die anderen Pizzen gab es dann keinen Käse mehr. Als ich sagte das es nett gewesen wäre das man vorher bescheid sagt bevor man die Pizzen macht wurde gesagt das man aus der Küche nichts gesagt hat. 2 Pizzen waren eine Katastrophe. Hähnchen drauf geschossen,Unmengen an Röstzwiebeln aus der Verpackung und die Stiele(Abfall,Abschnitte) vom Rucola. Auf die Rechnung haben wir dann 20 Minuten gewartet. Die Rechnung war falsch. Käse wurde 2 mal und eine Limo zuviel berechnet. Als wir sagten das es nicht stimmt und die Pizza nicht gut war,hat man sich zumindest entschuldigt. Wir kommen nicht mehr.

There are not a lot of places to go around here, less during Covid. This is a well spaced cafe, taking all the required precautions. It has an extensive breakfast menu, lovely cakes and scones and the coffee is really good. (I haven't sampled the meals yet but I will be back). My partner had the breakfast baguette with bacon and egg - it was a hearty portion - a full baguette, cut in two full of bacon and an egg on each part - great value (under £5).
