Después de pagar mi desayuno, Mavis le gritó a Beryl: "está bien, ahora podemos hacer huevos escalfados", así que comí un desayuno SUPER. A superb breakfast was enjoyed at the Gorilla Coffee Cafe, made by Sarah, the new Cook, with non greasy hash browns, delicious mushrooms, crispy thick bacon, fluffy sausages, fresh tomatoes and more! A fabulous, value for money experience that surpassed expectations. Definitely worth a visit! Just off the main road,friendly atmosphere, clean and relaxing.

We visited for lunch, their slow cooked meat and rice was great. However, their shawarma was not particularly good and not fresh.

I wish this place was closer to where I live. An excellent, cosy space with a team that clearly work well together and know their stuff. This little independent is building a community around good coffee, natural wine and cheese. They have a great selection of unusual wines, delicious cheese and bangin' tunes. This was my third visit and every time I've been in the service has been friendly and welcoming. A must visit when in Birmingham and the food upstairs (a separate pop up kitchen) is worth a 5🌟 review in its own right too.

My 3-year-old daughter’s favourite cafe. It has an excellently stocked kids kitchen and many books / toys. Food and coffee and decor and atmosphere for adults is also excellent.

What is it with this Greggs and running out of the basics? Went in, and they’d run out of sausage rolls and steak bakes. Again. Told that they’d be out in 8 mins, so say with the 4 other people waiting. When the 6 steak bakes finally came out, they were immediately snapped up by the others waiting and 2 other customers waiting in the queue. So I was told I would have to wait another 15 mins. It only seems to be this greggs that waits till they’ve run out of an item before cooking another batch. Common sense says that that you ALWAYS have a batch of your biggest sellers in the ovens at your busiest time, but instead, this branch is always playing catchup with the basics. Even sausage rolls.

Reservamos para ir al Dark Horse antes de un concierto y desde el momento en que llegamos sentimos la bienvenida del personal. El personal era muy amable y acogedor, y nos atendió inmediatamente. El menú es bastante pequeño, pero la comida era increíble. La hamburguesa de queso de tocino era increíble, con una gran selección de música de fondo. Hay una amplia gama de cervezas artesanales, así como cervezas y sidras "normales" también para los menos aventureros. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Booked a large party for a special occasion and was very happy. Booked for 23 people. Venue asked if we would provide our meal choice in advance which we did. This resulted in smooth service of the meals which arrived promptly (we only lost one and this was quickly sorted). Food was good, atmosphere excellent and servers in the restaurant and bar were lovely. I'll visit again😊

This is an amazing venue offering so much to the visitor. Excellent cafe, great exhibitions and events, cinema, nice little shop and also Cannon Hill Park to wander around in.
