Pretty good place! Interesting range of dishes and some good veggie sides, with the ash potatoes snd padron peppers especially nice. My group (we visited last month) ordered entirely vegetarian food and, even with a relatively small menu, we enjoyed the variety of flavours on offer. It was a little pricey but ultimately the food was good quality and the intimate atmosphere and decor made the night feel special. Didn't drink myself but according to others in my group, the wine and sangria was apparently excellent! I would def recommend if you want something a bit different and don't mind paying a bit more than usual for it.

Such a disappointing experience. Very expensive (£11 for soup and one slice of bread which didn't come with any butter) and even more money for a "hotpot" which was saag aloo. The saag also was basically overcooked potato, which was absolutely tasteless with hardly any spinach and, again, a small slice of bread with no butter (many vegan butters could have been provided!).

Great tasty late afternoon breakfast and toasted scones. Friendly service and ambience. The cafe is a family run business and is located off the main square in Beauminster so could easily be missed. It was a Monday and most of the cafes were closed and the few that were open had only cold food so it was great to find somewhere serving warm food. Look for the orange sign on the square or outside the cafe. The cafe has artwork and crafts on display as well as books and is light and bright.

Food was fantastic, freshly cooked and very tasty with fresh herbs. I had the roasted squash salad, my elderly parents had salmon & beetroot salads and my partner had the lamb burger..everyone was very happy. We also found room somehow to try the cakes which were also also great, lemon & blueberry and the orange & almond. Dog friendly too and tables were not crammed together so good if you're dog is a bit nervous like ours. Service was good too, friendly and attentive. Place was relatively quiet on a Monday, and a shame not more of the adjacent craft places are open / occupied.

Went to Vibes for lunch after having it recommended by a couple of friends. The place itself is really nice , the music was great, and we were greeted like old friends by Hamsa the owner, even though it was our first visit. The coffee was very good and the food was excellent (we had the mushroom shawarma and a buddha bowl which featured the best falafel ever!). Hamsa and the team offer great vegetarian/vegan food with a warm welcome and really personal service. Very highly recommended!

Brilliant afternoon tea for two. Everything homemade and very fresh. The cakes were all gorgeous and will definitely be ordering one again. Well worth the money.

The waitress was really polite and efficient and coped well when somebody is front of me, an impatient and perhaps a little rude customer was speaking. I was impressed. The hot chocolate was good. I went there to meet with a tutor and, although there was a friendly buzz of chatter and sounds, it was quiet enough for me to be able to listen to the tutor. Thank you.

I went with my 18 year old son to use up 3 hours on a weekday lunchtime. The library of games is gargantuan! There is nearly everything here a seriously knowledgable games nerd could want, and everything is in mint condition. There are games you can play for a couple of ten minute rounds like Kingdomino or Kluster, there are games that can take 3 or 4 hours like Root and Gloomhaven, everything well known and classic is there if you want to drop in but have no inclination for learning, and all the very latest release names that will be flung around in specialist circles are there too. There is pretty much everything for young and old alike. The owner who served us was lovely, as was the food (and turbo cheap too). I am DEFINITELY going back LOTS. P. S. Try the cooperative game Kraken Attack. It is many times more complex than t or box art would have you believe and completely nails to win as a team of just two.

great place for a friendly chat with the volunteers and a coffee stop before or after a local walk. Delicious honey for sale too.

Lovely place for a cuppa and cake. The staff were so helpful getting us seated as we had a pram and a mobility walker. Tucked these items out the way for us and bought a little tin of wooden toys for our little one to play with. Cakes were all amazing (Dorset apple cake the best) and I went back to get some takeaway pasties later too. These were also excellent. Definitely visit again when in Lyme Regis.

Blanche and her team could not have been more helpful for our walking group of 16. Because of the numbers we had arranged in advance so that they knew the dishes we were ordering. To our delight they all arrived swiftly and deliciously soon after we rested our weary legs at the outdoor tables in this glorious location. One of Dorset's best cafes in one of its loveliest rural spots. The Dorset Wildlife Trust staff on hand were knowledgeable and friendly too. Long may Kingcombe thrive.

A lovely country cafe and shop. Great coffee, lovely atmosphere and a real hub of the community. Stocks everything you need and more...
