Such a disappointing experience. Very expensive (£11 for soup and one slice of bread which didn't come with any butter) and even more money for a "hotpot" which was saag aloo. The saag also was basically overcooked potato, which was absolutely tasteless with hardly any spinach and, again, a small slice of bread with no butter (many vegan butters could have been provided!).

Lovely friendly space to eat and drink. Sadly the Buddha Bowl was so full of spicy fermented vegetables that it made it hard to enjoy. Too many different textures and tastes competing with each other. At £14 for a medium bowl it was also a little over priced I feel.

My mum and I came to the feed the soul cafe for lunch today and it was a lovely place to eat. I had a buddha bowl and my mum had the Jackfruit masala hotpot. The food was delicious and I love the Organic Ethos of the cafe. Being vegan they also made me an oak milk chai latte which was really yummy and appreciated 😊 the organic sourdough that came with lunch was delicious so I had to buy a loaf to bring home for my husband to try! Really lovely staff I will definitely be visiting again thank you 😁

We've been here a couple of times now and it's an absolute gem! Gorgeous food, freshly prepped and offering styles of food that you'd find impossible to compare with anywhere else within a long distance. Cheese and kraut toastie with homemade sourdough, Buddha bowls, homemade peanut butter, kombucha... I could go on. And there's a great little shop too, and beautiful fresh flowers. The staff are lovely. It's a joy and really deserves my 5* rating!

A genuine and warm welcome with some fantastic choices for a meal or treat. I had the creamy mushrooms which were delicious with a silky cashew sauce, my partner has the avocado toast which she loved too. Washed down with very good coffee too

Went for lunch and had mushrooms on toast. I have to say I thought it was genuinely horrible. The mushrooms were served in a thick, glutinous sauce that looked truly unappetising and tasted even worse. Overall, very sickly. As I was hungry I managed to eat about half but left the rest. My wife had a salad, which she enjoyed, and after seeing and tasting my meal told me I had ordered badly. We finished with cake and coffee. The cake was very sweet but otherwise unremarkable. Quite expensive for what we had so I shan't go again but my wife will probably go with friends/a friend when the weather's nice and they can sit outside.

On a cycle ride Dorchester - Cerne Abbass - Dorchester and came across this little gem of a lunch spot. As three hungry vegans we were delighted to find a place serving exciting vegan food. The Buddha bowl was one of the best we've eaten and the raw chocolate cake was stunning (and huge!) A touch expensive for lunch, but worth it. Pleasant outdoor space with comfy cushions for the benches. Ethical toiletries in the washroom, and a health food store!

Walked from Cerne Abbas (about an hour) and sat outside on really comfy cushions to eat our lunch. The Buddha bowl (£10) was fantastic- colourful, extremely tasty, lots of fresh flavours and textures. Initially I thought it was quite expensive but I was nicely full by the time I’d eaten it all. My daughter had the sweet waffles (also £10) which were also delicious. As someone who is normally a meat eater I was very impressed. Would highly recommend although it is quite expensive.

Met friends here for lunch. Between us we had a mix of salads, vegan burger and a curry. All meals full of flavour. Cakes were particularly yummy for dessert. Tables are long with several parties eating together. This made the meal very convivial. The cafe also stocks a variety of organic foods and eco household items so we were able to do a spot of shopping afterwards. Would recommend.

Wow wow wow! I am trying to find the words to describe the amazingness of this place. The food is not like anything I have tasted really anywhere before. We ate here over a few days while we stayed in the neighbouring campsite, and we dined on inspirationally cooked, freshly prepared, delicious delicious meals. Every ingredient tasted wonderful, and the meals tasted vibrant as well as being super nourishing and definitely good for the soul. Add to that Alex and Nick, who run the cafe, who are so passionate, creative and knowledgable about all aspects of the food. It was a total treat to eat here, to meet them. I visited Feed the Soul with my husband early on Saturday morning which was just as well as it became very busy very quickly. Nick and co are geniuses, there's no doubt. Everything offered is fresh, homemade and oozing with flavour. I tried Kombucha for the first time- which in Dorset is still a relatively new concept. We were given an entire explanation of its origins and were even shown how it was made (and got to taste a new Summer sample!). I personally felt like their passion of new science-y ideas were inspiring, shown in their expansive drinks menu.

Visited on a friend's recommendation, intending to have a coffee and a cake. On seeing that the cost of a small piece of tray cake was £4.50 - £5.00 (!) we settled for just a coffee. Service was very friendly and late was served in a glass with the usual pattern in the foam top. Sadly, the coffee was incredibly bitter and not really a pleasure to drink. Lunch 'special ' was being cooked and smelled good. Salads looked good. However, £7.50 for a lentil curry seemed over the top, so we didn't try. Numerous high-priced SUVs arrived for lunch and drivers seemed to be know to the owners, so they clearly have a regular customer base. I would strongly suggest that the person making the coffee tries a cup, every day, to ensure that standards are being maintained. This cafe is rather out of the way and we have not been given a reason to return. If you're hoping for 'a nice cup of coffee' you may well be disappointed.

Great to find a vegetarian cafe and small deli/shop amid the seemingly herbivore free hills of South Dorset. Yes, vegetarian, but not niche just a lovely cafe, super nice owners/staff and a slighly interesting take on coffee. Coffee in pots - yep. What a nice idea - locally made earthenware pots to sip your latte from. Btw soy lattes available too. We didn't eat - had other arrangements - but we'll definitely be back - interesting and simple at the same time. How so? Well, take homemade beans on toast. Yum and not a can in in sight. There's other more sophisticated and intricate concoctions to sample too.

Food was fantastic, freshly cooked and very tasty with fresh herbs. I had the roasted squash salad, my elderly parents had salmon & beetroot salads and my partner had the lamb burger..everyone was very happy. We also found room somehow to try the cakes which were also also great, lemon & blueberry and the orange & almond. Dog friendly too and tables were not crammed together so good if you're dog is a bit nervous like ours. Service was good too, friendly and attentive. Place was relatively quiet on a Monday, and a shame not more of the adjacent craft places are open / occupied.
