Brilliant afternoon tea for two. Everything homemade and very fresh. The cakes were all gorgeous and will definitely be ordering one again. Well worth the money.

Just WOW. From the start it was just fantastic. Sent a message to book a table and how very friendly and kind they were and replied really quickly. We had cheese and pickle, ham and mustard and egg sandwiches, scones, white chocolate and strawberry cake, brownies and cherry bakewell cake. The food was faultless, so was the service and it was so pretty in there and incredibly clean. Cannot wait to visit again already and brilliant value for money. Thank you!

We're regulars here now, it's far too close to home! Lovely coffee, breakfast and cake! We're coming to try lunch next 😊 Very accommodating for gluten free, and very friendly staff.

A little way out of the town centre but so worth finding. This is truly a hidden gem. A lovely little cafe serving amazing cakes, breakfast, lunches and great coffee. A very warm welcome and nothing too much trouble. We had a delicious lunch attractively presented and generous portions. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.

We popped in while waiting for someone to finish at the hairdressers next door. This little gem of a cafe is hidden away in back streets, but worth seeking out. The service is prompt and friendly, the brownies delicious and the iced drinks were declared “the best ever” by the kids. I’d agree my iced mocha was the best I’ve ever tasted. We will be back!

Having moved away from the area (from Dorchester to the far side of Hampshire) I wanted something to invite friends to come so I could see a few people at the same time. I'd seen recommendations from several people. Well what a fantastic choice!!! They catered for my gluten intolerance....no problem! I loathe being made to feel like an inconvenience, I just want to enjoy the same experience which is what I got to do.... complete with sandwiches, my favourite Coronation chicken too! beautifully soft bread. A big scone jam and cream. 3 different cakes. Lashings of lovely quality tea too. It really was special. Every mouthful was as delicious. 😋 And A-MAY-ZING value at £10 a head!! I've paid twice that for less food. 👌

Have often passed this place without ever trying it out so when I had a chance to visit I thought I'd would give it a go. The full breakfast was wonderful, extremely well cooked and grease free. Not something that is always obtainable! The separate serving of baked beans is a good touch, one that others should follow, not everyone wants bean juice all over the plate. Service was quick and extremely friendly.

My brother and I had lunch here on our way to an appointment at the Winterbourne I had a bowl of broccoli and blue cheese soup which was very tasty. My brother had a club sandwich with chips and a coffee which he enjoyed. I did feel it was a little on the pricey side for a cafe hence the four stars!

Either the wife or I visit here at least two or maybe three times in a month to grab a lovely slice of cake. The staff are always friendly, nice, happy and willing to help. The fresh home-made cakes just keep drawing us back . The hot food is also very good and have Sampled this many times also. With a food hygiene level of 5 Given by the local authority you can relax and enjoy the food knowing you’e in safe hands.👍

I had no idea this lovely little cafe existed as it’s not in the main town of Dorchester but well worth getting directions to find it if you don’t know the road it’s in. All food on offer is freshly made and there is a takeaway service for those too busy to stop. You can find a really good breakfast here, snack lunches and there are cakes to die for, all homemade. Oh, and the hot chocolate scored 10/10 with me , piping hot and utterly delicious. This is a cafe that’s well worth seeking out and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it .

Finally visited today for the Slimmers Breakfast - everything grilled or fried in Fry Lite, fat removed from the bacon, Heck sausages. Lovely! Will definitely be back. Quite busy for a Friday morning too!

Always visit this cafe when in Lyme. Great coffee (Pour over!) & tea and fabulous food. My wife enjoyed a super tasty wild mushroom & mixed bean quesadilla, slaw & chorizo. Excellent friendly service

Went for lunch and had mushrooms on toast. I have to say I thought it was genuinely horrible. The mushrooms were served in a thick, glutinous sauce that looked truly unappetising and tasted even worse

Great tasty late afternoon breakfast and toasted scones. Friendly service and ambience. The cafe is a family run business and is located off the main square in Beauminster so could easily be missed. I
