Genuinely the best coffee around in Torbay. Well made, decent coffee and great cakes as well. Worthy of a detour to get a good cup

I visit this cafe most days for breakfast or lunch and the food is excellent. The breakfast start from a small breakfast to gigantic “Navvy” special. Lunches of Roast Beef, Roast Chicken, Cottage Pie and many daily specials including Fish, Curries, Ham Egg & Chips . Give it a try. Great value for money. Situated in St Anne’s Road at the corner of Reddenhill Road.

We do live Locally , not been to Restaurant for a While , so a lot had Changed ,Member of Staff who was very Pleasent Showed us to our Table ,Beach Front , Ordered Drinks Arrived quickly ,Ordered Lunch , Mix up with Bread when Arrived , But was Sorted Very quickly and Pleasently , Food well Presented , Only Small thing ,Salad with Ploughman's, Lunch could of been a Better Mix . Otherwise Yes would Recommend.

I live in Torquay and after a Gulls game I always have a couple of beers in here, a brilliant atmosphere 👌

What a wonderful place. We walked in without a booking. The cafe was busy, but the lovely staff squeezed us in. I had the best breakfast I have had for years. The maple glazed halloumi sticks were amazing. Lovely, friendly staff, wonderful food and a nice atmosphere. Also dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

This is a lovely place with friendly staff. However at busy times the staff are very stressed indeed so it's difficult to feel comfortable there as two extra people expecting drinks and food, especially when they have large groups to cater for. Dogs welcome. Lovely location.very popular especially holiday times. However personally I prefer a relaxing atmosphere to unwind with friend or two or catch up on emails in peace, so all the chatter and noise etc is not for me at busy times. Food and service is good though.

Been here a decent amount of times now. The atmosphere is lovely, owners/staff are lovely and the chef.. he knows what he's doing. I recommend the Egg Mayo sandwich/baguette.

Situated on beautiful Babbacombe Downs with a commanding ocean facing position. As locals, returning for lunch and today's special chicken wrap with dynamite sauce. Bloody lovely! Attentive and prompt service from the very pleasant crew. It never fails to arrest me how the one star reviews are often posted by those who only find the mindfulness and energy to be negative. They had a lovely little waitress years ago..all change now so we don't go anymore.I think she was called Deirdre, very friendly, the guy going the cooking was a bit miserable, we used to go a lot for breakfast ( was a good breakie) Steve Window Services 🪟 Torquay

Went in to look at the menu and what they had, showed us the menu, and told us the breakfast ended in 5 minutes. My daughter asks if they can buy a cola, and they send her to their takeaway booth outside. We sat down at their tables outside, and then one of them rushed out to say that we couldn't sit there and had to sit on the public benches because they had reservations coming in shortly. We are a customer and would have been joined by other people once they had finished beachcombing.

Well done to the team . Friendly local pub. We thought we would try to roast as have heard its good. We just it a no frills roast dinner for 2 less than £20 . Will be coming back .

Only had coffee on this occasion but saw food coming out looked lovely will be sure to return in the near future staff very friendly and although it was extremely busy they remained calm and professional and coped extremely well

Lovely pub. Very friendly member of staff. Comfortable seating. Very clean toilets. Reasonably priced drinks. Sky sports on TV.

Stayed 2nd Dec till 5th coach trip,food warm dining room overcrowded ,hotel in need of a good clean and refurbishment, few people came down with sickness and upset stomaches,possible cleanliness/food? Would nit stay here again or recommend
