Met my friend for overdue catch up. Great atmosphere, only two tables free. The two men running were friendly and welcoming. My friend had soup, I had toasted cheese and ham sandwich. We both really enjoyed our food. The freshly baked scones smelt delicious. Definitely recommend a visit. 😋

Absolutely delicious meal with generous portion of duck and prawns in each of the main meals . Fairly priced . Only with held one star as lighting rather stark and I’d prefer something gentler but comes down to personal taste . Already planning my next visit .

Been coming for years. Friendly staff and the food for breakfast has always been great. Only recently stopped allowing substitutions for breakfast items but it’s still tasty

If you’re wandering in Newton Abbot and looking for a laid-back atmosphere with delicious food, friendly staff, and tasteful decor, look no further than Orsino. My partner and I have become big fans of the Lounges, mainly thanks to Orsino. We came on New Year’s Eve, and devoured the Korean chicken burger and a steak with fries. Despite both meals being a bargain, they were absolutely fantastic. the chicken burger was well-flavoured without being too spicy or strong, while my partner’s steak was cooked just to his liking. The dessert was also wonderful! My partner adored his sundae, and while I thought the sticky toffee pudding could use a tad more sauce, I still enjoyed every bite. The staff were friendly and ensured we had all we needed throughout our visit. A solid favourite of ours, and we will be sure to return.

After being totally let down by another, nearby establishment, apparently can’t book a table for less than 6 people 🤷‍♀️🙄 and trying to just be a walk in and failing miserably, myself and a good friend were completely at a loss of where to go. Having not been in town for some time I suggested Coffee Corture, but even unsure it was still there 🙈 As we walked up to the front door we could see it was really busy inside and was deliberating walking away. A lovely, smily gentlemen (assuming this is the owner/manager) open the door and asked if he could help. We sheepishly replied, anything for 2 of us? Without hesitation he had us inside and gave us several options as seating choices. At first we were just having coffees, we had planned to eat but at this point wasn’t sure if food was an option. The table we were on had to be vacated by a certain time but were again given options of other tables. As we were enjoying the ambiance we decided on another coffee and moved to a smaller table to free up the reserved table we were on. I asked about food and was politely told the options. As the establishment already had several big tables eating, our options were limited. At that point we decided not to eat and were more than happy with the delicious coffees Shortly after the lovely waitress came over and explained, as they had now served one of the big tables there was a window for food to be served to us and handed us a menu. We did indeed order some lovely dishes. Immediately the waiters came over with another small table realising we wouldn’t have enough space on our modest table to fit everything on. The food was delicious. Service exemplary. I can honestly say I’ve never ever been in such an accommodating and friendly establishment. We really did feel like VIPs Thank you so much for making our little Christmas catch up so wonderful. It is true, what doesn’t work out really works out, and last night really couldn’t have worked out any better. So thank you 🙏🏼 we will be back! ❤️

Pass by the chain coffee shops and pop in here. Based in the market. Serves great local coffee and all the cakes and lunches are homemade. Family run business. Great friendly staff.

The staff are absolutely amazing friendly and the service is perfect. We go regularly and the staff remember exactly what drink we like.

I visited on Monday 30th December expecting a 20 minute shop, to order and collect a cake. It is advertised to only take 10 minutes for the bakery to print your design onto the cake. After an hour of asking customer service desk, talking to staff around the store and waiting for staff to come to the bakery, we spoke to a man that I did not catch the name of. He was a STAR. He said I don't know where the only one bakery staff they had in that day was but they did know of someone qualified and was working in a different part of the store. Chris came and got the ball rolling for us. We were able to celebrate a family members birthday with a beautiful cake. The majority of staff around the store were unhelpful. I did have to chuckle when one went 'uhhhh I don't know' and carried on with their task. If not for the lovely chap and Chris I'd be putting in a complaint with the store for the incompetent staff.
