Definitely the best breakfast in newton abbot, we both went for the large which is more than enough for anyone! Great quality bacon and sausages! Great coffee too ! :) HASH BROWNS TO DIE FOR !! ( dribble dribble ) Good customer service from the team and felt welcome ! Only criticism is the black pudding with the breakfast, very thin slice and not much flavour! Cheers for a nice breakfast guys !

came in for a lovely meal with my partner. a girl and her mother are sat at the table next to me. i overhear the staff being absolutely vile to this table. one waitress spilling milk all over the poor girl, and then continuing being rude. making this table wait more than any other table. completely horrible! not what i expected from this restaurant and truly ruined my experience here. will not be returning.

We came in for a family bite to eat and we were all very happy with all aspects of the place, the staff very nice and friendly, the food was good and the we liked the style of the place

More fool me, I thought this was just a coffee shop but we noticed they came up on a Google search for breakfast in the area. We had a good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and after looking at the menu we will be visiting again to try the main food. And, dog friendly

A firm favourite for us! Dog and kid friendly. Wide choice of menu options. Great for meal at any time of the day or just a coffee stop. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is good quality. Halloumi burgers are lush!

Nice place with interesting decor and a good atmosphere. A variety of food on the menu which was delicious and not overpriced. Thoroughly recommend.

This was our first visit and can happily say will definitely not be our last. Food was lovely and the pace is really intresting inside. looking forward to the next time.

My partner and I went for breakfast at Orsino Lounge. I really like the location and the atmosphere in here. It is really cosy. We ordered hot chocolate that and the flatbread with lamb. It was to die for. The only thing the flat bread was so grilled that I have to ask for a steak knife. My partner had poached egg with mushrooms. He also found his muffin very toasted. Overall it was nice experience. I raccomend it!

We are regulars and often enjoy the pancakes and I go for the coffee. However the last two visits (7 days apart) the coffee has tasted strange and bitter. We did ask on the first occasion if they had changed the coffee brand but was assured it was as it always was. The second visit confirmed the same bitter aftertaste in the coffee. We normally have a couple of coffees but there are some good coffee houses in Newton Abbot and I'll have my second coffee elsewhere.

Absolute beautiful place to go out for dinner. Good price in the staff are absolutely amazing and the service is great. The food is quick and they are really friendly and welcoming in there big Shout out to the cool staff there

Wow what a place. We came here on Tuesday for a works breakfast meeting. Breakfast was some thing else. People and staff are very friendly. Only thing I would say is bring your hiking boots to go to the loos. 5 out of 5 stars for every thing.

Always a pleasure, a go-to spot in Newton Abbot. The food is really tasty as with all the lounges, but Orsino does the best whipped feta, better than the others! In terms of Accessibility, the restaurant is totally level access with a wide door way, lots of space inside to move around in a wheelchair, and dog friendly too. The tables are all different and quirky, and most have a deep skirt underneath so you may hit your knees if the wheelchair is taller. All of the staff are super friendly and very attentive!

No one tells you that you order from the table. You are met at the door and shown to a table, which gives the impression that someone will come and take your order. There is a sign on the table that you either scan the qr code or go up and order your meal, but we waited for a while before I spotted it. Once ordered, despite it being a Saturday, the drinks and food came quickly. The bill, for 2 adults and a child, came to £49, which puts the orsino at a decently priced bracket, being as a milk shake and 2 pints were included in that price. The food was delicious, but the portions are small. The tapas that my friend had, looked very presentable, and my Rose's Truffle Chicken was nice, although it was the size of a normal starter. It was a good vibe in there, and there was enough room for everyone.

Sally & I really enjoyed celebrating our birthdays here. Nice food & the chardonnay wine was really nice too. We will definitely return again!

With several of our group having various intolerance issues, The Lounges are always a safe place to go and the staff can't do enough for you. Orsino Lounge was no different. We will definitely return when we are back in the area next year. Keep up the good work. 🙂

Clean and welcoming establishment with a varied menu to suit all tastes at reasonable prices. Friendly and attentive staff. Very efficient and speedy service with all dishes arriving in a timely manner and well cooked. Overall a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

I frequent this establishment daily and I am always served with a smile. All the waitresses are lovely and empathic towards all customers any who may be having a difficult time are met with kindness, professionalism and care so to all who work at orsino Thank you truly for all you do!!!

The restaurant was absolutely charming, we enjoyed a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Although the food was average, the kids' menu was so impressive that our children had a great time. Highly recommended for families!

Visited October table of nine 18th Birthday party we had to pre order Not ideal but ok Arrived staff had no clue Atmosphere good ( not our first visit) Drinks served, just settled in and bang food on the table even though I asked can we have our drinks first Good points streak was cooked v good Lamb curry with no lamb complained and got some stringy type shredded stuff chucked on top shocking!! Truffle chicken was no more than a small starter at best It felt like being back in the school canteen again Other meals were acceptable but well over priced for what you get ! The young waitress with ginger hair was lovely as for the rest it was just a effort for them and made us feel we should of not been there You have just lost nine customers To sum up it was not good on my daughters special day Big money for a poor experience

This is the best place in town! whether you want a quick bite to eat, cocktails or a romantic meal, this is the place. They do a great selection of gluten free and vegan food so somthing for everyone. The staff are amazing. We come here alot and even when under pressure from a big group, they are happy and attentive to everyone. They are spot on!

We go to Orsino Lounge regularly, just love Tapas and it is a favourite place. The staff are so kind and helpful and the food always lives up to expectations. I can honestly say that "customer service" is alive and well in the Lounge - that alone makes a visit worthwhile!!

Love this place to eat most of my family are gluten or dairy intolerant and those place has great options to choose from, this makes it our go to restaurant as a family. Great service nice atmosphere without being too loud and the food tastes great.

Sometimes it’s nice sometimes but tonight I experienced a rude waitress, I asked for garlic mayo for my food, didn’t get much of it then politely asked for more then got a rude response from said waitress and got normal mayo slammed down at me. It’s put me off coming again which is a shame as I enjoy the food and some waitresses.

Another great Lounge. Always know that it will be good whichever one we visit. One chain I now trust for quality of food and great atmosphere.

A cafe/restaurant with a difference. The breakfast food I had was lovely but other members of my family were disappointed as the bacon was over cooked ,in fact it was black in some places and one of the fried eggs was solid in the centre, so had to be changed and the baked beans wwre luke warm. The bacon sandwich was way overpriced for the size. Very disappointing.

I'm kicking myself for previously overlooking this place. I have eaten here before on a couple of occasions, but I'm more of a traditional pub person. I was never a fan of the decor, and the quirky plates put me off orsino as a serious restaurant or somewhere to eat out. The tapas menu was ideal to pop in for a quick snack at lunchtime. I went here last night for dinner and was blown away with the beef brisket chilli. Easily the best chilli I have ever eaten. I would have liked a bigger portion, but maybe that's a reflection on my appetite rather than the portion size. Or the fact it was so delicious, I could easily have eaten two portions. I also tried some of the wife's tapas and I have to admit, they were delicious. I really have overlooked this little gem in the centre of Newton abbot, and will be popping back again very soon to start working my way through the rest of the menu. Edit, been back for a curry and one of their burgers, Both were amazing.

Always very helpful staff, great food and lovely atmosphere

Been in this week with a friend as we had already planned to. Upon learning that their head chef/km was no longer there I was rather dubious and I have every right to be. Staff as usual rude. The girls need to learn to cover up a little more and spend less time flirting with the kitchen and discussing latest events they want to book etc, the plates were dirty and cutlery wasn’t great- which never happened before and needed to be more attentive to the customers. The food wasn’t done to coolant spec, the rice was over cooked along with the chicken and was extremely unpleasant. Such a shame he has left because he really made the business and the food, I know he had been working there through some serious health issues and for that time the food never faulted. Let’s hope your able to bring back some of the decent chefs again.

Came here ony own for breakfast. Sat down straight away, was asked if I had any allergies then told how to order(at the bar). I ordered a vegan breakfast & Americano. It arrived within 10 minutes. The breakfast was delicious. Great service. Felt very comfortable ony own.

We had the tapas, a meat one and a vegan one. A pint of lager and 2 puddings. My partner had chips and churros with his tapas and was very full. There's 6 churros. Too many for 1 person. The cost for the quality of food is good. The menus are very well thought out and other restaurants could learn a thing or two from this place. Nice and clean with lovely helpful staff.

I genuinely love this place. Its consistently a great experience. The menu is varied and tastes fresh. The staff are very polite. Management have done well here. I did not get the same level of staff quality at the Torquay branch. Nice one team you guys are smashing it.

Had a fantastic meal prepared by Manesh. We had the nasi goreng and bang bang chicken. Great flavours and beautifully cooked. Service was very good too.

My partner and I love coming here for breakfast. The food is outstanding! Yes you do pay a little more than most places but the quality is top notch. Unfortunately we don't live in Newton so we drive over from Torquay and it's worth it. Try it you won't be disappointed..

We’ve been going to Orsinos since it opened & never had a bad meal . But we went on Saturday 13th May. Just the two of us . I had a chicken fillet burger & chips , my partner had a chicken sandwich & chips . It was the worst meal I’ve ever had . We ate it , well most of it as we were hungry, but it has put me off going back . The chips looked like & tasted like they had been deep fried a few times , the chicken in my bap was warm not hot . The same with my partners chips. I don’t normally leave a bad review . I hope this is not how the meals are going to be from now on . The thing was , it was quiet .

I can't get enough of this place, love it. Great good, Great atmosphere, easy to order from your table, and the prices are respectable as well. After 6pm, there is ample parking close by for free. I will be going back here.

Best breakfast or brunch in newton Abbott.

30 of us booked for our works Christmas meal. Loved the Christmas menu, booking process simple. We were a big group and no doubt caused some stress what with changes and no shows, but the team at Orsino were brilliant. Friendly, efficient and just on the ball. Food was brill, cocktails ace as always. Good time had by all.

I regularly visit this place but twice recently I've gone for a catch up with friends and the music was too loud. We left before ordering and found somewhere quieter. Shame.

Been here a few times now and loved it. GREAT coffee and food but more importantly the staff are properly lovely. The manager Myles stopped to chat and ask how the food was. Always a good experience and will be back again 100% :)

Had a late breakfast, the food really was excellent, the quality of the sausages were the best. Its a very relaxed atmosphere. The cost of food was quite expensive but the quality totally reflects this. Definitely worth visiting

Had a 6 quid breakfast roll. Not freshly cooked. Only the egg Felt fresh. it was obviously reheated and plopped on a plate. Cheap slice of rubber cheese. And it was nearly 7 quid. However the staff were lovely and friendly and kind.

I rang the Orsino Lounge last week as I was going in a party of 6 on Saturday and was advised that I DIDN'T need to book as it would be okay. We arrived on Saturday and was initially asked if I had booked !? and explained my call to them a few days earlier and that I had been advised that I didn't need to book, the waitress went away and spoke to someone, came back and advised us that they had no tables available, but we could wait, but wasn't given any timescales, there were free tables that they could have pushed together to make a table for 6, but they didn't seem to want to do so. We left as we didn't want to wait....... we went to the Vietnamese restaurant, Kim Pho (who could accommodate us straight away) we had a fantastic meal and the atmosphere was great, so pleased we ended up there and would definitely go back !, but would probably not go back to the Orsino lounge !

Everything was lovely food was really lovely and served fast and staff very polite and pleasant ...but music a bit loud...and it seemed that we/people were trying to chat and struggled to b heard above t music... But no other complains
