Found this little gem of a cafe following a daytrip out to see the Valley of Rocks. Myself and two friends each decided to order two different types of scones as our lunch as we couldn’t decide between the many wonderful and unique flavours! I started with the Butternut Squash, Sage and Cheddar scone with Vintage ‘Cornish Crackler’ cheddar and red onion chutney. For my ‘dessert’ I then chose the Chocolate scone with Homemade Cherry Conserve. I can honestly say these are the best scones I have ever had! The savoury butternut squash scone was absolutely delicious and full of flavour with a lovely orange hue and was still warm from the oven. The cheddar and red onion chutney complimented it beautifully. The chocolate scone smelled incredible before I’d even sliced into it! There were delicious melty chocolate chips inside and coupled with the cherry conserve it made for the most delectable sweet treat. Chocolate and cherry is one of my favourite flavour combinations so I was excited to find this. I am going to try and recreate these scones myself but I doubt I’ll come close! The owner was also very friendly and warm and we felt really lucky to have found this cafe. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Delicious! Really glad that we opted to be more adventurous than the usual hotel breakfast. We had the Huevos Rancheros and Francesinha Waffles, and they were both outstanding. The coffee was very good too. It's a really funky little place too. 10/10

Got 3 meal deals , one of which was vegetarian and all food was amazing!! Fresh bread was used , no skimping out on filling. Vegetarian food cooked separately and was lovely and hot. Staff were very friendly definitely will go back again

This evening our family of 2 adults and 2kids went for dinner . All I can say is it was so friendly , cosy , accommodating and welcoming . The chicken wings were lovely and the roasts and the puddings . A true gem of a pub with people who understand what makes a good pub as it’s the whole thing not just relying on your pub being the oldest or prettiest . This pub was worlds apart from another pub we went to this week who were polar opposite on the welcoming or customer service . All I’ll say is if you are at the mole resort like 3 others strangers we met also tonight who had also had similar experiences then keep driving past the closest pub to the mole and come here . Also don’t even think of criticising anything at all about the local nearest to the mole as you will just be attacked on trip advisor 😂😂 we can’t all be wrong about the unfriendly atmosphere and lack of customer service . Get yourself to a real friendly local pub down at the Bell where you are made feel welcome and the food is good and you actually get a smile and a bit of chat from all the staff .

This little tea room was the perfect place to stop. Everything was homemade and delicious (especially the scones!). Service was friendly and I would recommend to everyone to stop for food and especially if you are looking for a proper cream tea!!
