Had a fabulous meal and the chef Justine was able to accommodate my long list of allergies and gave me plenty of options of freshly cooked meals from the menu. The best gluten free chips I’ve ever had! Not to mention a selection of excellent west country ciders.

As a keen cyclist with my m8 we are always looking for a nice cafe with good food and drink on our route. We certainly found one here. Gluton free, normally would be a big no to me but we tried the choc brownie with ice cream which was lovely and a oat latte which was also very nice. As my wife would tell u im a very fussy food and drink person. She dreads it when shop owners ask how i find they foods.More often than not theres always something i dont like.Im hard to please. THE FABULOUS SPROUT pleased me very much though.Nice decor as well and friendly service. When ever im in south molton it will be my go place.

Excellent healthy treats. Very friendly service from a couple who care about the planet, your health and their little business passionately. With backgrounds in health and food they are a great combination. It’s lovely to pop in for a morning smoothie bowl on the way back from the beach. Their humous sourdough has a great variety of toppings and stew Friday music nights are great entertainment in a warm summer evening you can eat watch feee music and play ball games with the kids. ONLY OPEN IN THE SUMMER THOUGH.

Visited at the end of March. Sadly disappointed with both main meals. I had monk fish with gnocchi and vegetables. Unfortunately the gnocchi and vegetables were overcooked. My husband had seafood tagliatelle pasta - the pasta portion was very small, and luke warm, mussels appeared small and less fish than expected. The food is expensive for the size of the portions, so it is particularly disappointing when not well cooked. Bottled beer expensive. Did not feel we could complain in such an intimate small environment.

A lovely treat! My husband and I went to Willow's Tearoom in Landkey, North Devon. I had a lovely pot of tea with a homemade scone, cream and strawberry conserve, my husband had ginger sponge with custard and a double espresso. All vegan! It was fantastic! The food was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. The owner was incredibly friendly and we can't speak highly enough of Willows. If you are visiting North Devon check their opening times and treat yourself!

Had the best cup of coffee to be found in Barnstaple while my daughter had her skateboard refurbished. Friendly owner and just how a local business should be!

Great spot, lovely bacon butties and seriously good coffee! We had ours to take away and sat on one of the benches right at the front, was a brilliant way to start the day!

A small friendly community café in Barnstaple. All cakes were £2 a slice. They took great care getting my order just right, the veggie breakfast was certainly one I'll return for AND take friends. Fried eggs were done perfectly. Actually, later in the meal I asked for wholemeal bread and butter to 'mop' up the plate, it was that Good. Enjoyed my lattes and fruit cake. As the café has limited seating downstairs be prepared to share or go upstairs. Personally enjoyed sharing a table with another lone diner, as the conversation was interesting. The other diner was a regular who enjoyed one of the daily specials. Dogs came in with their owners and were well behaved. Staff made you feel Welcome even though it was later in the day.

Alex and Hannah, the owners, made you feel very welcome. Good choices on the menu The food was delicious. It's a small cafe, so sometimes you wait a little longer for the food to be prepared, but it wasn't long for us. If you're ever in Barnstaple, it's a lovely place to eat.
