Amazing coffee, it’s off the Main high Street but well worth the visit, definitely going back as the quality of the coffee is so good. Super friendly staff

Was in the area and popped in for a coffee having seen it in a South West good coffee guide. Glenn produced a cracking cup and shared his barista knowledge weighing exactly 18g coffee and pouring just the right water for just the right amount of time. He actually poured away a cup when distracted chatting which had gone over a few seconds. Great little shop, go for the coffee, cake, clothing, skateboards or just to see Glenn’s awesome hair!

Roll up roll up. Great news Beats back selling their magnificent coffee today. The trouble is I will now go just for coffee and end up buying some funky clothes also! Cheers gazz and Riley the Border Collie.

The shop was under renovation during my visit but I had the pleasure of a coffee and a chat with the owner, it is clear that it’s a perfect example of what a good local business should be - friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a dedication to both the quality of product/service and also to the local area. I’d highly recommend a visit when it’s open fully around the end of June.

Don't be put off by the interior of the skateboards, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The coffee and cakes tasted amazing. Served at perfect temperature, (not burnt like the bigger more well known coffee shops) the shop offers a range of coffee beans with all organic/fairtrade/recycled/eco friendly packaging produce ect at a very good price. Frozen smoothies and milkshakes were also very good along side a homemade cake. Really interesting cafe would recommend to all ages for a quick bite and good refreshment.

At last! Another coffee shop that hits the mark in North Devon. ‘Beatsworkin’ has got the cool factor but knocks out a fine cup of coffee. Deservedly in the south west coffee guide book. Slightly off the beaten track but worth finding. If you haven’t - check them out. You won’t be disappointed

Friendly service, good quality drinks and snacks. Only reason I did think about not giving a 5 star rating is because of the prices. Although not steep, it is a bit pricier than other local places. But for the atmosphere it's worth it

This is a real Find, in an ordinary street just outside the main shopping area. What a nice surprise to find really good coffee - featured in the Good Coffee Guide - a wide range of healthy drinks and snacks plus yummy home-made cakes made by Clare. Try a blondie or brownie, and taste the best ever. Owner Glen and his friendly Team are really creating Community here, firstly providing skateboarders with a cool place to hang out, but also attracting people of all ages and backgrounds who enjoy the warm welcome, informal atmosphere and general buzz about the place.

We stumbled upon this place whilst going to the Barnstaple indoor market. Its the best coffee I've ever had !! (Milk Bar soho - close 2nd). These guys are very happy working in the most unusual concept I've seen. Skateboards, Coffee and loads of healthy drinks. I wanted to do a shout out as it's so good to see Entrepreneurialism and I really want this to be a massive success for you. Coffee !! wow !!!! Chocolate almonds !!! wow !!!!

This little coffeeshop in Barnstaple within a skate shop make by far the best coffee I have ever had. Nice places to sit outside and chilled music. Good selection of Organic snacks and juices also available. I live in London and visit North Devon regularly. Every time I go back I make a point of getting a coffee from Glen and team. The effort and skill that goes into every cup is evident. Staff are all welcoming and very pleasant. Try it. It cannot be beaten!

Had a flat white here today, it's great coffee and we don't have too much of that in Barnstaple. Free WiFi too. Don't be put off if you're not into skateboarding, the coffee is worth a visit.
