Great food fun locally and ethically sourced suppliers, prepared by someone who so obviously has poured their heart and soul into a great little stop. Excellent knowledge of every aspect of the menu, ingredients and suppliers I can't recommend this place for a setup wether is for a coffee and cake or a very decent lunch.

Hidden gem in the heart of Barnstaple town! Adam makes restaurant quality food using local, healthy and seasonal produce all available at a great price and to take away. The roast dinners are AMAZING and you can tell everything is fresh! Highly recommend having anything of the menu, but nothing beats the large roast dinner! Chicken, pork or if you lucky the lamb are all great! And the Sabins Coffee sold here is amazing too! I buy it from Caveman for my coffee machine at home! They now have a grinding station!

Came here for a roast for lunch during the week. I opted for a veggie option which was some sort of egg tart thing. I was impressed by the local produce, sourced nearby and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the price was reasonable. I would return, maybe just needed a bit more gravy otherwise it would have been 5*!

This place is great. All ethically sourced, home made food. Even the wraps & tacos are made on site. I had a delicious pulled pork burrito & my daughter had jackfruit tacos. All was delicious & well presented. Give it a try, these two young men really deserve this venture to be a success. We will definitely be back

Shared a main and a side. Excellent food, freshly prepared, nice staff. Ful mudammas, lightly spiced fava bean stew, flatbread, roasted cauliflower & tahini yoghurt. Very filling, enough for two light lunch snack. 3 kimchini balls as a side. Chia and a turmeric Latte. To died for. Will return

Big portions, friendly owner. Little difficult to get to the bar sometimes when lots of local blokes stood there. Nice garden.

Love this cafe we visited a few weeks ago. The menu is reasonably priced given the focus on quality, making it a perfect spot for breakfast, coffee and cake—or even something more substantial. When we visited, I went straight for The Big One. They serve breakfast until 2pm which is great news if you’re a late riser or if you’ve been out the night before! The Big One is for those with an immense appetite (£14.95) but there are smaller options available. T went for the Ultimate BLT Handcrafted Sandwich (£11.95), swapping crisps for fries for an extra £2.25 from their lunch menu which also includes paninis, toasties and jacket potatoes to mention a few things. I can safely say that the cooked breakfast was an immensely satisfying plate of food. The meat is sourced from a nearby butcher and you could taste the quality; the bacon was thick and flavourful, and the sausages were meaty and dense. It came together like every big breakfast should—with lots of toast and a good cuppa on the side. The Ultimate BLT was an absolute behemoth—packed full of thick cut bacon and served with fries (a new option on the menu, swapped for crisps). The soft fresh bread kept packed sandwich together in a chunky bacon filled parcel – you need a big mouth to chomp it in one! Along with breakfasts and lunches, there are fresh cakes and their legendary waffles, for those with a sweet tooth you have plenty of choice. They're very dog friendly and willing to go that extra mile for customers 😍
