An enjoyable place for a coffee and cake. Very good table service.

Went due to reviews about Flat Whites and espresso coffee. Can't fault them, highly recommended. Food was great although the club sandwich was big and too much, so get one to share if you don't eat a massive amount. Not a criticism, just an observation. They very kindly offered to put one half in a bag to take away, which we did. Open and honest about how long food takes to cook and serve. I liked that, as we've run a similar coffee shop so understand the pressures. Indies like this are not Mcdonalds. They take pride in food prep etc. A must if you're looking for coffee and food in Lynton. Teacakes and cakes in general looked great too.

Horrified to see a lady, obviously a regular, with two little dogs sat on the bench seat either side of her. Let's this otherwise lovely cafe down. Please be aware some people are allergic to dogs and don't want to share the bench seating with them.

Really lovely little cafe! The owners are really calm and accommodating and are clearly passionate about providing great customer service and exceptional food, even for larger groups. It’s a really clean, beautifully decorated place with lots of food options, whether you’re in the mood for something big, small, sweet, savoury, vegetarian or otherwise! Great coffee with a handy visual guide in the back of the menu to help you decide on the coffee for you, plus loads of juice options etc. Really lovely place to brighten up even the rainiest of days!

Unless you are a couple don’t try and visit this place!!! We (4 adults, 2 kids) stopped by after our friends had recommend this cafe. Our experience and how we were treated was however very different to theirs. Upon entering the cafe we were made to feel unwelcome with dagger stares from behind the counter. We proceed to sit down at a small table however there was enough seating for us all. We were kindly offered another table from the people next to us to accommodate us. It was then at this point it all went very much down hill. The man serving came up and before saying anything goes “I can’t feed you all!!!!” At which point we were all a little shocked. He then proceed to say all I can do is cakes and even that’s going to be difficult with you all - we were a table of 6!!!! It was at this point i upped and left, I felt so uncomfortable, unwelcome and judged - therefore not somewhere I wanted to be. You humiliated us in front of your other customers but I think more than anything it showed that maybe customer service training is needed. Maybe next time coming over and quietly saying “my apologies, there is a maximum number in here as the door shows (which is actually 6!), I can serve you but it may have to be staggered and may take a while are you happy with that?” Would have been a polite approach? Such a shame as I was looking forward to trying out your place after being recommended to do so, however after the way you made us feel, the embarrassment just for wanting to support your business… it upsets me that I have no choice but to share my unpleasant experience.

Awesome little cafe! Super friendly service and some of the very best cream teas I ever had. The scones were super fluffy and tasty. The Lady grey and the dirty chai latte were really great. So we had a brilliant time here and will come back for sure. Next time we will hopefully be able to try one of the breakfasts they have.

Popped in for coffee and cake but ended up having a bagel burger as well as we were do intrigued. The food was amazing. I had a honey cream tea as well which was delicious. Lovely atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff. Definitely be returning!

Called in for a pit stop and drinks. Really warm and welcoming guys! Had an amazing chai latte and my husband even got to sample some local ales. Well worth a visit if you just fancy chilling out and listening to some really good tunes. ❤️

Walked out of another cafe around the corner without ordering because the general aura was unwelcoming. But this cafe was totally the opposite, the person at the counter was very welcoming and a gentleman . Didn’t order much but whatever ordered was good and satisfying to the body and soul.

Excellent flat whites and cappuccinos. Love that the sugar is added to the espresso before milk is added- just like in Italy! £3.45/ coffee. Great selection of baked goods available. Friendly staff and fantastic location. Will definitely be back!

After struggling to find somewhere for a snack lunch on Sunday, found this place and had the nicest BLT I have ever had. Friend had smoked salmon and cream cheese. Gorgeous thick cut granary bread.

Bit late with our review - visited in November! Where does time go!?! This place is an absolute gem of a find. The food is fantastic - breakfast bagel and bucks fizz for breakfast was absolutely heaven! Bacon jam!!! Delicious!! We went back for lunch and cocktails and they were fab too! We ate there every day of our 3 night break. Hosts Neal and Jason are really friendly, funny and attentive, we loved chatting with them. Our 2 dogs were made to feel so welcome too. I only wish we could pick this cafe up and move it to North Yorks as I would quite happily start every day in bagel heaven! Thank you so much guys, you have the most wonderful cafe!

After an epic walk we hit upon this fantastic cafe which we were delighted about as it was open as most others were closed. The chap was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The cafe was spotlessly clean. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The menu was fabulous. The hot chocolate was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was instantly calming and really this was the highlight of my Christmas break. A little oasis of kindness, impeccable service and I really didn't want to leave. Keep doing what you're doing folks. We visited as a family of 4 and will definitely be back.

Second time we've popped in to warm up. My daughter had a fully loaded hot chocolate, the day called for it lol. Watching him make it was a work of art, she said it's the best one she's had. I had a normal hot chocolate, divine. Hubster decided to have a glass of wine, it squeaked past noon 🤣🤣 Gorgeous tasting wine. We've not, yet, had any food, but what we've seen coming out of the kitchen looked mouthwatering 😍😍 Highly recommend going in. DOG FRIENDLY 🐕🐕🐾🐾🐾

Friendly, clean cafe with amazing sandwiches!

Manager with awful attitude, looked me and my group up and down and then proceeded to ignore us. Tried to sit at a table and told us “can you wait till I’ve cleared that table”. Food was going to be half an hour wait apparently… overall wouldn’t recommend. the food looks good, just sad the man who seemed to be the manager was rude and ignorant. P.s HIGHLY RECOMMEND ABI’S cafe just round the corner!

New, nice cafe in Lynton!! Friendly staff, delicious cakes. We tried a lemon sponge and a carrot cake (always playing safe for the first time), they were both really tasty and we'll definitely go back for the brownies! If I heard well, there were some gluten free options.. (I would love to see some front window high table stools by the way!)

Super friendly staff and delicious coffee. We also had the pastrami bagel which was a winner! The cafe is also very nicely decorated a lovely views of the village
