We were a large group dining here to celebrate two of our friend’s birthdays, and it’s safe to say we’ll be coming back to celebrate every occasion and more! The restaurant and outside spaces are beautiful, the staff were fantastic and really looked after us, and the food was exceptional!!

Delicious food, lovely ambience, friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a drink in the sunny garden on our first visit, and returned later in our holiday for a fabulous meal … wish I lived locally I’d be a regular!

Enjoyed our dinner here - squid for starter was lovely and seafood linguine was really tasty. Shared a brownie for dessert which was nice. House white was decent. Really liked the lively atmosphere and friendly service. Great to see a relatively small menu done well…

The food was amazing, the service was great at the start but after our meal we fancied a few drinks but the restaurant got so busy we felt a little forgotten so ended up walking to the bar and leaving and going elsewhere.

Lovely place. The service was great, the staff were friendly, the wine list was perfect and the glasses to drink it from were beautiful! Everything we had to eat was delicious, the cocktails were enjoyable too. Our only complaint was the sheer volume of noise inside. The place was busy and that’s wonderful but due to the nature of the interior design with exposed metal piping, metal artwork on the walls, metal furniture etc the room just echoed noise. We were having to shout to each other across our table to be heard over the next table doing the exact same because that table was shouting over the table next to them etc. we would have stayed so much longer but felt we needed to leave so we could hold a conversation without shouting. It made the evening a bit uncomfortable. I’m not party pooper but during a meal it wasn’t enjoyable to have to shout. This could so easily be fixed too with maybe some acoustic panelling or more soft furnishings to soak up the noise within making for a far more enjoyable surrounding to share with friends. We really did enjoy everything about it except for this one issue caused only by interior materials sadly. Would I recommend the food, … absolutely, would I want to go back because you just couldn’t relax and be heard in the restaurant without shouting? Sadly not

Shared a main and a side. Excellent food, freshly prepared, nice staff. Ful mudammas, lightly spiced fava bean stew, flatbread, roasted cauliflower & tahini yoghurt. Very filling, enough for two light lunch snack. 3 kimchini balls as a side. Chia and a turmeric Latte. To died for. Will return

Big portions, friendly owner. Little difficult to get to the bar sometimes when lots of local blokes stood there. Nice garden.

Love this cafe we visited a few weeks ago. The menu is reasonably priced given the focus on quality, making it a perfect spot for breakfast, coffee and cake—or even something more substantial. When we visited, I went straight for The Big One. They serve breakfast until 2pm which is great news if you’re a late riser or if you’ve been out the night before! The Big One is for those with an immense appetite (£14.95) but there are smaller options available. T went for the Ultimate BLT Handcrafted Sandwich (£11.95), swapping crisps for fries for an extra £2.25 from their lunch menu which also includes paninis, toasties and jacket potatoes to mention a few things. I can safely say that the cooked breakfast was an immensely satisfying plate of food. The meat is sourced from a nearby butcher and you could taste the quality; the bacon was thick and flavourful, and the sausages were meaty and dense. It came together like every big breakfast should—with lots of toast and a good cuppa on the side. The Ultimate BLT was an absolute behemoth—packed full of thick cut bacon and served with fries (a new option on the menu, swapped for crisps). The soft fresh bread kept packed sandwich together in a chunky bacon filled parcel – you need a big mouth to chomp it in one! Along with breakfasts and lunches, there are fresh cakes and their legendary waffles, for those with a sweet tooth you have plenty of choice. They're very dog friendly and willing to go that extra mile for customers 😍
