We spent three nights B & B at this lovely farmhouse. Zaina and the team made us feel very welcome. A perfect village location and lovely walks to Morte Point and the coastal path and easy to get down into Woolacombe bay. Very comfortable beds, huge breakfasts and the best lemon drizzle cake ever! Thank you so much!

A lovely spot in this small village just opposite the church, we stopped in for a cake and a coffee and there was a very tempting sounding selection to choose from, although unusually it was from a menu rather than being on display on the counter. A Victoria Sponge was a very generous portion and very well made. If I were being critical I’d say I prefer butter cream to fresh cream, but that is of course just personal preference. Across the table, the Lemon & Cream Sponge was also very good and another generous portion with the lemon flavour running right through the sponge and a lovely glaze on top. The only downside was a few wasps buzzing around the garden, but other than that, highly recommended.

Walked into Morthoe from the coastal path & came across this lovely little cafe so stopped for a spot of lunch and sat outside in the garden. Ordered an egg mayonnaise and a ploughman’s sandwich and both were delicious served with a few crisps on the side. Lovely bread and lots of filling and a treat for our dog Elsa too. Staff were all lovely & service was quick. Thankyou, would definitely recommend.

After enjoying many lunches at Town Farmhouse, we had the absolute pleasure of staying there. The house is absolutely beautiful & the rooms are all decorated tastefully with lovely comfortable beds, excellent amenities including a little jar of biscuits for our 4 legged friends which went down a treat with our 2 French Bulldogs. Zaina & Matt are a great team, they made us so welcome & nothing was a problem. We felt we arrived as guests but left as friends. The breakfasts were delicious with a good selection of choices, all organic & only the best ingredients. You really could taste the difference & we will definitely be buying some of the porridge & organic eggs at home! We cannot recommend this B&B enough, an absolute gem. We have already booked again! Thank you once again Zaina & Matt.

Nothing is too much trouble. There is car parking for guests. Within striking distance are amenities which include public footpaths or a village route which will take you down to some of the best beaches we have in England, a couple of nice pubs, a great fish and chip shop which sells more than just fish and chips, a take-away that serves great home-cooked food for a reasonable price, a village shop, and a Post Office. This evening our family of 2 adults and 2kids went for dinner . All I can say is it was so friendly , cosy , accommodating and welcoming . The chicken wings were lovely and the roasts and the puddings . A true gem of a pub with people who understand what makes a good pub as it’s the whole thing not just relying on your pub being the oldest or prettiest . This pub was worlds apart from another pub we went to this week who were polar opposite on the welcoming or customer service . All I’ll say is if you are at the mole resort like 3 others strangers we met also tonight who had also had similar experiences then keep driving past the closest pub to the mole and come here . Also don’t even think of criticising anything at all about the local nearest to the mole as you will just be attacked on trip advisor 😂😂 we can’t all be wrong about the unfriendly atmosphere and lack of customer service . Get yourself to a real friendly local pub down at the Bell where you are made feel welcome and the food is good and you actually get a smile and a bit of chat from all the staff .

Good food. Had Sunday lunch here 3/10/24 - excellent food and very good service. The place was busy but not crowded, nice atmosphere.
