Really tasty food and coffee . Served by very nice lady . She was brilliant . Definitely recommend if you’re in North Devon .

We’re not from the area but popped in for lunch this afternoon and ordered 2 panini’s, cheese + tuna mayo, pulled pork and cheese, for takeaway. The staff were very welcoming and patient allowing us time to decide what we wanted. They then prepared our food fresh, instead of the pre packaged food you get from Costa for example. The lady behind the counter was very chatty and open with us about the waiting time. We paid £10 on the dot so £5 per person and the paninis were unbelievably tasty and filling. I couldn’t recommend these place highly enough for anyone looking for a nice fresh sandwich for lunch, definitely going back when we’re next in the area!

Got 3 meal deals , one of which was vegetarian and all food was amazing!! Fresh bread was used , no skimping out on filling. Vegetarian food cooked separately and was lovely and hot. Staff were very friendly definitely will go back again

Saw the shop advertised locally so I thought I'd give it a go. And OH MY!!! I am so glad I did. The food is superb, cooked fresh, full of flavour. The owner is charming and polite and the shop has a warm, welcoming feeling. If you haven't checked them out, I would strongly suggest doing so. Prices are superb for such good quality food. Will definitely be returning!!!

This Sandwich Shop is efficient and not expensive. It only serves light lunches, take-outs and refreshments. Opening times have been erratic for some time but it's a decent place to go when it's open. Bizarrely, most Ilfracombe Cafes work short hours and usually stop cooking after lunch (there are a few exceptions on the High Street). Where are we supposed to get a tea meal? They must be missing out on profits especially in the holiday periods.

Best baguettes and customer service

Cheapish eats and good coffee; seems to have something for everyone. Serving hot and cold drinks, hot food and takeaway sandwiches, pies and pasties, this is a very good sandwich shop on Ilfracombe High Street. Get in before 2PM (North Devon Cafe hours), Eat in or take out from The Sandwich Shop. Chairs are up by 2PM. There are one or two later opening Cafes nearby but in our experience most Ilfracombe and Combe Martin Cafes only serve breakfast and lunch.

Called in for Cornish pie and coffee with my brother very nice and the price was good .There are tables and chairs if you want to eat in could recommend this shop.

Unique little cafe owner very friendly nothing to much trouble even let my son take small dog in.Food was absolutely delicious and nicely presented decor pleasant whole establishment spotless .

Excellent Grab & Go hub, found by chance recently. This popular Ilfracombe speciality Sandwich shop is a cut above the rest and the young owner does a cracking job. Get your decaffs here as well as all your cold drinks and sandwiches 'to go'. Does what it says on the tin. Dogs danglies place to go and much better than his local competition. Champion.

Had a delicious & very reasonably priced breakfast bap from here recently. Good range of food (ie sandwiches, pasties, sausage rolls) & chilled & hot drinks, plus a few tables to sit at too. Owner very friendly & accommodating. Will definitely be back when in area again.

Purchased 4 sandwiches, 2 sausage rolls and a drink and it came to fifteen pound odd which I feel is good value. Sandwiches were nice and not stingy in the size of filing. Service was good. They had run out of cheese and it was only just after 1pm which you could say is a bit daft for a sandwich shop but I would rather go to an independent shop like this than to another same old Subway.

Good food for a reasonable price.

I pop into the sandwich shop to grab a bite to eat quite a lot and the food is always perfect and for a reasonable price. Good variety of fillings to choose from and if you grab yourself a card and get it stamped 10 times you get your next one free!

Great Little take-away sandwich shop operated by a really genuine laid back, and cool dude. Inexpensive but really nice simple food.

Excellent service friendly staff and always happy to help even if your order is not a listed sandwich/roll me and my work colleagues regularly go there for our lunch and are never let down

This is a very straightforard High street sandwich shop but with very friendly service with freshly made sandwiches. The wraps were good and the owner very flexible about chaninging the contents!
