Best breakfast sandwich in a long time. We found this place by accident thought we’d stop he had one of the door stop sandwiches (like a proper doorstop!) I had a sub Both were well cooked the egg wasn’t cooked to death service was quick and as it’s on one of the quieter roads in Marsh Barton it was nice to sit outside There’s even a dog bowl We will definitely be back

I ran the Exeter Quay 10k on the 23rd feb & we all had our heart set on coming to Veg Box for food after. This brunch was so incredibly tasty & very reasonably priced. The vegan brunch wrap was so crunchy & delicious, filled with hash browns, cheese, avocado, onions & chilli jam, the strawberry match was thick, creamy & sweet.. they even had a vegan pastry counter with so many sweet treats! If you’re a vegan visiting exeter, i beg you go here!

The best pastries freshly made in the morning on site. Finest local ingredients are always used where available. Open on Sunday to which really helps my schedule. Just look at these pretty photos my family took this weekend.

A biker hangout that has a bohemian feel. A good selection of niche rider and outdoor gear. Didn't get to try the food, but it looked delicious. If you are in Newquay, give this a visit.

Lovely big tea pots, excellent coffee and delicious pistachio biscuits. Lovely view of canal. Definitely recommend!

Ok for a greasy spoon. Bit of a rip off that you have to pay a tenner for breakfast and it doesn't come with a brew.....you have to pay another £2 for that. Will stick to the cafe in Selco.

Lovely spot on the quay. Service and food excellent value and lovely and fresh. Highly recommend, coffee and cakes are also lush!

Wonderful old fashioned cafe with great breakfast menu in particular. Immensely popular for good reason. Dogs allowed. Seats outside. Lots of easy parking. Delicious fried bread

Good food and nice surroundings

A visit to the Boatyard Cafe & Bakery on Exeter Quay is a unique experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and not only can you enjoy some beautifully prepared and presented food, you can also glimpse the bakers at work preparing the special bread and other goodies they have available. The staff are welcoming and dedicated, which is why it is so popular, with a huge turnover of customers for breakfasts, lunches and all the goodies from the bakery. If you haven't yet given it a try, do pop down to the Quay along Haven Road, and drop in to the Boatyard experience asap. You won't be disappointed I promise!

On a sunny October morning we took a table outside, after clearing the table ourselves as the staff clearly hadn't - it is a great spot for people watching. My husband went indoors to order two coffees and two bacon sandwiches. The coffee arrived fairly promptly and was good. The bacon sandwich took nearly half an hour to arrive and was the most meagre bacon sandwich I have ever had. A lot of bread but hunt the bacon. I took the bacon out of one half to try and fill just half a sandwich - it was still meagre. It looked quite pretty with a few decorative leaves, although there was no dressing on them. I would rather forego the leaves and have some bacon instead. During our time there we noticed that almost all customers were having to clear empty tables to sit at. The staff just weren't doing their jobs. I would have marked it as 1 star but gave an extra simply for the fact that I liked the coffee. How it says it is award winning, I have no idea because I certainly will never go back.

Actually delivered the wrong drink 🤣 ordered a caramel frappe and a chocolate frappe, but got 1 caramel with coffee and one without 🤣

Total unexpected yet consistently delicious food at low low prices . Ok it’s a supermarket backdrop but the food is totally top notch and way better than many pub chain efforts. If only other branches were as good. Prepare for a lesser experience in other js.
