What a delightful cafe restaurant, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had an afternoon tea which was plentiful and tasty. The assorted oddments of crockery gave a quaint feel within the tastefully decore of the old barn style building. The staff were attentive, with plentiful tea, dainty sandwiches and little cakes which were light and fluffy - just delicious. It was our first foray to the venue but certainly won’t be the last. A little hidden gem which is well worth a visit. Thank you making it so special.

We visited the Parley Country Club on Sunday. We were looking forward to a Sunday roast and a game of petanque on their terrain. Unfortunately the place was all shut up and we were told that it had shut down 2 weeks ago. I wish that they had updated their website to say this as it would have saved us from a wasted visit.

Lovely modern interior and extremely clean. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The coffee was excellent and reasonably priced. I didn’t have anything to eat but from what could see, looked appetising and well presented. Will definitely pay another visit!

The Tea Room & Garden at the Museum of East Dorset (MED) in Wimborne Minster is a beautiful spot for light refreshments - both hot and cold. The Tea Room is connected to the beautiful garden of the museum and, thus, victors can, in the warm weather, be seated in the outside patio area to enjoy their drinks and snacks whilst experiencing the aesthetically glorious garden. The MED Tea Room also has a light inside dining area which has lovely views across the garden due to the big windows. The staff is comprised of volunteers who are friendly and welcoming; refreshments are ordered at the café and served to your table. The Tea Room and toilets are very clean and the menu includes a very reasonable charge for food and drink. The Tea Room and garden are accessible for all visitors and there is a disabled bathroom. The walled garden is a location for everyone (of all abilities and ages) to enjoy, play, relax and explore.

Over priced modern furniture. Great for retirement and care home type furniture. What let's this store down is the staff aptitude. The store closed at 5pm, which is fine, a little unexpected on a Saturday, however actually turning the lights off and saying the staff have gone home at 5pm sharp, I mean to the second is an odd reflection on their management there. All customers actually escorted from the building and told we are open tomorrow. I mean WOW. Just imagine the level of support you might get if you actually buy something there and need help with it. All the good reviews were probably customers who were shopping during the day while the staff had to do their job! This is just our personal experience.

This delightful farm shop restaurant is a fantastic little find! Set in lovely countryside just outside Wimborne, Dorset. The staff are lovely, the ambience and decor is lovely and quirky and the food is sublime. If there is a bigger selection of cakes and pastries anywhere I would be very surprised! The selection is astonishing! We went for lunch and I had the Bacon and Stilton quiche which came with a very generous helping of baby potatoes, salad and coleslaw. Absolutely delicious. My son had the tuna and cucumber granary sandwich and fries. It must be the thickest, most delicious sandwich around. We visit quite often and cannot recommend Aunt Fannys highly enough.

Popped in for a nice coffee after a long walk, and to sit in the sun in the Minster grounds, lovely service and really nice coffee, plus we were tempted by their amazing cakes!

We decided to have lunch here today (08.05.25) as we hadn't been for a couple of years. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the expectations of its surroundings. Our sandwich was average with a 'stingy' filling and barely any cakes on their counter so we didn't bother. Scratched glasses. The waitress was less than warm and friendly (barely saying a word or a smile) and cleared away my husband's plates before I had even finished. There is so much potential to make this cafe special and have a warm atmosphere. Possible some soft outside music, cushions, fresh cakes, a decent quantity of fillings in sandwiches, a warm smile and welcome. Maybe we'll try again next year, maybe not. Plenty of other cafes in Wimborne.
