Aroma in East Dorset

I bring my daughter and grandmother her quite often as it is local, close to a car park, has excellent accessibility, there’s so much choice on the menu, the food is always delicious and the staff are so friendly! There is something for everyone at Aroma.

Noisy and cramped - the store is migraine inducing. Would not return and is definitely lacking the charm of the other aroma restaurants. Terrible experience

I think you can tell a lot about a restaurant by the condition of the toilets.

My wife, our two spaniels and I were warmly welcomed in to the cafe by the friendliest of staff. My wife chose the hog roast off the specials while I had a full English breakfast, after seeing someone else tucking into theirs. Swapping fried for scrambled eggs was no bother and I was so glad I had the extra black pudding - the nicest I've tasted. There was too much food in the end and we were sent away with a doggy bag, so we could enjoy the leftovers heated up for our tea! And talking of doggies, our two were treated to some sausage by the waiting staff. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic find! Visited this lovely cafe today, unplanned lunch stop with our Cockapoo. Huge variety on the menu. We both had Coronation chicken baguettes, which came with a small salad accompanied by home made dressing, and a portion of chips between us, large Lattes completed our meal. Ellie, our Cockapoo, enjoyed two sausages while we ate our meal. All staff were polite and attentive and great with our dog. Food was gorgeous and we could see that others around us were thoroughly enjoying their food too. Our bill was around £22.00 which, we thought, was excellent value for money. When we are in the area again we will certainly be revisiting!

Amazing and attentive staff, unbelievably delicious food and a great price. Plenty of comfy seating. Went back a few days later and was remembered by staff as well. Will be back again……and again!

Very good, I got the pizza and it was delicious, the amount of cheese they use is amazing as im a cheese lover. I have been many times and always love the servers and food

Ordered a take away sausage bap with ketchup. Quick service however they have increased their prices too much and the quality is very poor. A year or so ago a sausage bap was about £3.75, now it’s £5.40. It used to be really good value; nice fresh roll and tasty sausage wrapped in foil to keep it warm. Now it’s very poor; the sausage was dried out and the roll was completely stale and hard. I appreciate times are hard but this is appalling so I won’t be visiting them again. Very unhappy… it had to go in the bin!

Misleading pricing for food, when complained about the price being a silly amount, staff were extremely rude and found it funny they had charged more. Said i was going to report them and was told by staff 'i could report to who i like but they cant do anything.'

Visited this morning, on Mother's Day. It was fantastic!!! Busy day, of course, but the staff were all amazing, all working hard and all smiley. The food and drinks were all perfect. Thank you all, for working so hard. Keep doing what you're doing.

Four of us popped in for an indulgent lunch we ordered waffles and cream with strawberry and chocolate cream waffles and drinks the charismatic charm of the "owner" was excellent the waffles pure indulgence superb service and when you see the size and look of the waffles you'll think I'll never eat all that...you will, also very reasonably priced a must visit restaurant when in Wimbourne ,

Excellent restaurant in the middle of Wimbourne, myself, wife,son and daughter in law stopped for a light lunch which was excellent the waffle desserts were gorgeous the restaurant itself is well situated by the square and very well priced with very friendly and attentive staff definitely recommend

Busy cafe in the centre of Wimborne. Staff are very welcoming and pro active when you enter which makes a nice change! Head waiter (from Greece?) is very friendly and loves a bit of banter. Extensive menu. Food was delicious. Side salads have a lovely dressing too. There was a minor issue with my mums order which was rectified quickly. I wanted to write a positive review as it’s hard for small businesses and this place is phenomenal.

This is by far the most welcoming friendly restaurant in Wimborne. They are so helpful. Good old fashioned service values. Exceptionally clean. Wonderful menu but accommodated my off menu wishes with grace and sincerity. I wanted a carb free breakfast. I’m delighted. I will be coming back. The big difference is they make you feel like they truly appreciate you visiting and welcome you as though it was their home.

We ordered takeaway hot chocolate, which was unfortunately quite cold. When we politely asked what the staff could do, we were ignored for some time before being told that a refund was impossible because they were too busy that evening. We were subsequently told ‘the church [for charity] is that way’.

The best aroma in the area hands down. Always great service, delicious food and my favourite place to go for a prawn marie rose baguette.

Two of us visited 11/11/23 for brunch. Bustling cafe, clean, warm welcome, nice relaxed atmosphere. Prompt service and hot tasty food, good choice of menu available. Our 2nd visit.

Wonderful friendly ( and quick) customer service Very very good value. Wide variety of sandwiches and hot and cold dishes. No complaints about my bacon and cheese baguette. Nice to sit outside if you can. As there are over 200 different dishes on the menu ( according to our waiter) I can’t vouch for everything!

Ordered an Aroma Breakfast online as it doesn’t come with mushrooms. Breakfast arrived with a quarter of the tray full of mushrooms hidden under other food - food that I’d started eating before I realised. Why advertise a breakfast with no mushrooms, then ship it with mushrooms? That was the whole point of ordering this breakfast - are they looking to make people ill?

These guys are really lovely the service is always amazing however charging £1 for gf bread is just too much, pity as I work local and would order more often! £7.45 for a sandwich!

Only stopped off for pot of tea and teacake..brilliant service polite staff and dog friendly. Saw the plates of food being bought out and looked excellent. Would recommend and will definitely visit again.very clean and smart restaurant.

My streak pinene had more streak in it than most restaurants serve in a main meal. It was fantastic, it fact I left most of the chips as I was full and takes a lot! My Wife who has waffles around the world could not believe her eyes when it came out. She commented “ Am I expected to eat all that?” She said it was the best she had ever had, but again did not quite finish it all. We both had drinks, bottled water and a pot of Earl Gray tea and the cost £27. How’s that for value for money? If you visit Wimborne, forget the rest and try proper food cooked and served by people that care. Thank you all for a great experience.

Aroma is one of my favourite places for lunch as you are simply spoilt for choice! The menu is plentiful with sandwich choices, paninis, baps as well as having daily specials! On my most recent visit I opted for the Duck Pizza which was incredible! The service is also spectacular, the staff are super helpful and friendly, food & drinks arrived very fast; and staff ensured you always leave with a smile on your face. Overall would strongly recommend Aroma, and the Wimborne branch is equally as great as their others!

I don't think you'll find better value for money and service for a breakfast anywhere else. Some of the food could do with some finesse, but if you want a good size breakfast quickly for a good price, then come here

It was alright. I ordered a coffee and walnut cake, with no cream but it came with cream (luckily I wasn’t allergic) and a latte. It was really dry but tasted alright. The service was ok, had alot of choices for sandwiches and a nice outside area. But wouldn’t recommend.

I hadn't been to this Aroma for a long time & having had such a bad time at the Verwood outlet, I was concerned about returning. I had no need to worry, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. This is the Aroma a love, nothing was too much trouble, service was so quick. Love the open kitchen . The gentleman who took my order was amazing, whilst he was up selling, it was done in such a friendly way that you felt that he was just making sure you were alright.

Breakfast was really nice. Went here on reccomendation of a friend, wasn't let down. Customer service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Coffee was really good!

I have just discovered Aroma. A great friendly cafe serving decent food efficiently. Get there before 11:00am and take the Early Breakfast. Great value Full English, with optional black pudding & bubble n squeak. Tea/coffee included. Service was swift and friendly. Gets full marks in my book. What more could a hungry gent need?

Arrived at Aroma for lunch on the 20th July 2023. which when delivered to our Table was absolutely disgusting and nothing like the photos outside to draw you in.The pork was tough,chewy,grizzly full of fat and over cooked and had a horrible smell ,impossible to eat ,we complained immediately but nothing was done and when leaving all they offered was 10% off nothing said that we hadn’t eaten any of the pork or any apologises,it was a waste of £25 .would not visit that Cafe again .

We went in cafe Aroma Wimborne for something to and choose the Roast pork which was absolutely disgusting the meat was tough gristly and just not palatable with the waiter saying in the six years she had worked their she had only known one complaint...

Ihave been to Aroma for coffee and cake , but today decided to take my daughter for a lunch , we chose , tuna jacket potatoe and I had prawn ,very disappointing , potato was stale certainly not a fresh potato .I shan’t go again

I took my family to Aroma earlier today. They had travelled from Cornwall and the Midlands. I could not have asked for more.we had a great experience. Julie in particular was outstanding. Keep up the good work.!

Expansion means refurbishment work is ongoing. Can be noisy. Hopefully, expansion will not result in poorer service.

Lovely cafe with outside tables. Waiter on the front area superb and so on the ball. Had two lovely coffees and delicious waffle. 😋 . Definitely a place to return.

Lovely seating area outside in the sunshine. Waitress took our order of lattes and danish pastries. We got our drinks quite quickly but waited ages for our pastries. The lattes were far too milky (I’ve had plenty in my time and none this milky) and we had to chase the pastries as we’d nearly finished our drinks. We realised that they were reheating them which wasn’t necessary. When we eventually got them, they tasted like cardboard coated in sugar - stale. We ate them anyway as we were hungry so didn’t feel we could complain.

Such a disappointment. Close friends visit here nearly every weekend so we thought we’d give it a try after collecting the children from a local school. On arrival we were greeted politely and seated with menus. The foreign gentleman who took our order was questioned by my husband weather the 1/4 pounder came with fries / chips. The reply was yes it did, when the food came out, I can only describe it as one thin patty with processed cheese and a squashed toasted bun! It looked rather lonely. We asked where the chips were and checked at the till, to be told it doesn’t infact come with chips but we’re offered some salad garnish? My £9 JP was a bit lonely too we there on it’s own with no garnish: ham eggs chips ok, sons kids burger and chips for under £5 was no bigger than my husbands. All very odd. Sadly we won’t be returning.

Had a cheeky few hours without the children, so had a drink whilst doing some studying. My laptop ran out, no problem, they put it on charge for me, so I had an afternoon tea while I waited ( they served decaff tea) was very impressed, 2 fresh fruit scones with cream and jam. Nothing too much trouble, very helpful , friendly staff, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely be back, if not on my own then with the family. Thank you for a lovely afternoon 😃

Friendly staff and food was ok but definitely over charged Burger £7.25 Steak baguette 8.15 1x chips £3.95 2x fresh orange juices £5.90 Now my maths adds this up to £25.25...but got charged £29.65....i didn't really think about it until outside so added it up...

Thought we would go to the independent instead of Costa for coffee, lovely staff, lovely coffee (and sausage roll), while we were sat there we checked out the food board, we are going to head back here next time we walk this way.

Brilliant Cafe this 👏 full of character and atmosphere. The staff are charismatic and will stop at nothing to make sure your stay is comfortable. Choice is overwhelming to be honest, initial thoughts were that there was no way Quality could be good with this amount of choice, but it is. Absolutely no complaints with the food and I had the nicest Chai Latte I have had for a long time. Keep up the good work.

Sadly POOR. We were greeted warmly at the table by a guy that looked to us like he was the owner. Very efficient and friendly.....thats where it ends !! Ordered a hot chocolate and a coke float from a lady, again OK. Hot chocolate arrived in reasonable time for my wife, my coke float didn't arrive.....my wife finished the hot chocolate which was very nice before my drink had even arrived, no apology !! We saw the lady who took the order chase my coke float order, 15 mins after taking the order !! Went through to pay, girls at counter chatting, when the till manager asked them to move they did, she then proceeded to have a conversation with another member of staff in the knowledge I was trying to pay. She proceeded to deal with 2.other matters, not pressing I might add (a member of staff requesting cutlery) and ingored me. Don't think we will be returning anytime soon. Sorry....terrible service guys.

I always love my trips to Aroma. I attend with my family alot and the doggies. Super friendly helpful staff, the girls are so sweet with our dogs and always make us feel at home. Really good value food for price and the cafe itself is nice and tidy. A good place to go and work too with decent wifi. The chaps are also super friendly. Thanks guys!

Seeing a sumptuous Carrot Cake in the display outside, I went in a busy cafe, they found me a table and I ordered. Well I've had many portions of Carrot cake but this one was so light and delicate and tasted fabulous. My coffee was...

Went in had a sausage baguette which was lovely, had chips with it and they were horrible in my opinion, also went for American pancakes for dessert they were OK maybe the pancake was a little stale. All in all though I was happy enough, staff are very friendly and service is very good

Very extensive menu with main meals sandwiches, baguettes, small dishes, snacks, cakes and desserts. Coronation chicken baguette was especially tasty and filling. All food and drink at excellent prices and served swiftly. Very nice black coffee. Very busy on Sunday but there were tables available at all times. Not my first visit and certainly not my last!

Seriously gone down hill. I really used to like this place. I was shocked to find hardly any food in my baguette, it was cold and the bread was uncooked. Its a pity I got to find somewhere else to get a decent breakfast baguette
