The coffee and food is great here but as an autistic person it can get too busy for me and is overwhelming when it is busy though that isn't the companies fault

I love a good bit of customer service! All the staff in here are totally committed and overlapped seamlessly in whatever they were doing, friendly welcome and the place ran like clockwork and it was really busy which is testament to their success, the coffee was great, what more do you need?

Due to lack of staff service a bit slow. Some tables not cleared or cleaned as above reason.Latte coffee not very hot,laked a coffee taste.

Nice big Costa. It was very very busy when I visited. Almost every table was taken. The staff were very pleasant and polite. Good selection of drinks and treats.

The mozzarella pesto sandwich is good 🍅

Came here two days ago with my 7 month old for a quick drink whilst we had some downtime. Upon arrival, the worker who was cleaning tables opened the door for me to get my pram in which is always helpful to a mum with her hands full! Drink was lovely, and they offered to bring it to my table for me. Finally, the other worker behind the counter also offered to open the door from me on my way out despite that he was nowhere near the door. The atmosphere was lovely, it was kept nice and warm and the cafe was kept very clean. Really appreciated all the help that was offered. It makes a massive difference.

Very rude barista working this morning 27.12. Threw the choc orange chocolate at me and turned away abruptly. Terrible

Only go there to take my elderly clients there for my jobas a carer. I don't buy anything as is very expensive, and over rated in my opinion. but my clients like it.

Visited here on Sat 19th Aug and was greeted by Joe very quick and efficient service with a smile. Gemma made the coffees in equally efficient time and they were great, hats of to both a job well done and will be back again. Restored my faith in Costa after recently drifting back to Cafe Nero.

Had a note to say the muffin wasnt in stock and so didnt get full order.

Unfortunately the food was stone cold and needed to be reheated,the bacon bap tasted stale and not so fresh like it normally is. And it took an hour to get here .the delivery time changed 3 times

Called in for a coffee as we were in Ferndown, wasn’t much to choose cake wise and cold fridge counter was empty and it was only 2pm!! Coffee was good though nice and hot and friendly staff.

Costa you let me down, no vanilla in the coffee and no egg with the egg and bacon brioche.

Shorter queuing time than my local Costa which is Verwood. A guy was shouting out when orders were ready which I was surprised at. Usual Costa experience with furniture and buzzy ambience

Quick service. Never have to wait very long to get a drink. Baristas are all very friendly and the tables get cleared quickly aswell

Very poor service. Not only was it late, I was missing 2 items without any notice from Costa. Avoid getting food or drinks delivered, you’re much better going in store.

They didn't have Oat milk, so called to offer alternative, which was fine. Delivery seemed to take forever. once arrived Mocha was warm only... no extra covering to protect it so it had spilt all over the bag. the toastie was now only luke warm. I didnt drink the mocha... expensive sandwich

Waited absolutely ages today ..food cold and soggy . Coffee undrinkable it was vile ..Will think twice before ordering again ..

Staff are always really friendly and there's always a nice atmosphere in store. Costa products are always good. Only issue I had, today I have my dog with me so I have to sit outside. Sadly I'm sitting inhaling second hand smoke from guy on next table. Not nice at all and in future i wont stop when I have my dog with me. Please can you consider removing the ashtrays and having no smoking policy at costa? One star lost only for the smoking.

We waited more than 90 minutes for our drinks, and then only got 2 of the 5 we ordered!!

Only issue unfortunately put a hot drink in with chocolate so bottom bakery items were melts in the package

missing items, never received a message about it possibly not being in store so was not able to change/ substitute it for anything else. really not happy about this.

While I was waiting for my car to be ready, decided to have breakfast ... Simple and easy order..... Single shot cappuccino without chocolate and a plain croissant.. barista decided to make it with double shot... I ask for a single and instead of making another one... Literally just poured half in a sink and topped up with more milk...... Nice job!!!

Large premises which is good as I've never struggled to get a table. I just wish they would open the back door to the parking area.

Enjoyed a cup of coffee and a toastie. Coffee good but toastie not very appetising. Service OK having to queue and then wait for the order. Good for busimess meetings as shop is relatively quiet..

My all time favourite coffee shop in Ferndown. Can get busy mid-morning & at lunch hour so may find a wait in the queue. However, well trained staff are always friendly, coffee is excellent & selection of refreshments more than adequate. Carrot cake my all time favourite. The air conditioning in hot weather, comfortable seating, newspapers, free wifi & central location makesthis venue an excellent place whether you are alone or meeting friends.

As above good service but being the first customers of the day and using the unisex toilets, sinks were clean but my wife didn't appreciate seeing pubic hair all over the toilet pan and seat. Clearly this had not been cleaned from the night before or the start of the morning. If you are going to have toilets, especially unisex, at least they could be spotless and checked regularly. The 2 star drop shows the significance of this for all customers. Very disappointing having to mention this.

Very much the usual experience at Costa. Good quality, friendly young staff but rather pricey! Maybe things will change now Costa is no longer Whitbread.

Normal great coffee, of the regular quality taste. Good atmosphere and friendly smiling staff. They always remain helpful even under pressure.

Having been to many Costas around the area this is definitely the best. Staff are friendly especially the Manager John who always remembers what we like and can always tempt us to a slice of chocolate cake. Bravo to the team keep up the good work.

Was taken by a friend as normally grab a coffee from Wetherspoons across the road. Nice enough staff & coffee was good BUT no better than across the road at double the price for a single cup whereas at Wetherspoons you get free refills. The only plus point I can see is that it is on the sunny side of the road but the smell of cigar & cigarette smoke made us move back inside.Just can't see what the attraction is for overpriced coffee .

Staff are lovely and, in my opinion, you can't beat a Costa for coffee and cake. A nice environment and the staff do a good job at keeping it clean.

The manager of this costa shop is so helpful and friendly and so are the staff, Sometimes the queuing time can be a put off however and there are often tables that haven't been cleared, so guess it isn't so enjoyable in peak times, but still recommend for a drop in .

I go into costa quite alot and have a coffee and the staff that work in costa are always smiling and laughing i think it shows that the staff team can work together they never seem stressed always happy bubbly and amiley.

I don't understand why so many people use this type of coffee shop as there are lots of other cafes in the area selling coffee at half the price. I accept that Costa coffee tastes good, but at £3 a cup, it should do!! The pastries on offer also are overpriced.

We occasionally have coffee here, it is always busy and is well stocked with fresh snacks and pastries as one would expect from a Costa Coffee shop. The service is friendly but quite slow, especially if you order a hot sandwich, but everything is good quality. However I was disappointed when I noticed one of the staff, when stacking clean cups on the shelf, was rubbing her face with her fingers all the time, then holding the cups around the lip, not the handle, thereby transferring bacteria from her face and hands onto the cup and potentially to customers as they drink. I was careful to wipe my cup before I drank from it, and will always do so in future. Maybe some staff training in hygiene is needed there. I know I should have mentioned it, but the manager was not there at the time.

Since Costa opened it has lifted and livened the area and is buzzing most of the time that the cafe is open. The coffee is consistently good and always tasty and made with such style. The staff are polite and accommodating (if you are not happy with your drink they will willingly change it). The cafe is always clean and tidy.

Great to go into a Costa and get your coffee so quick from pleasant and friendly staff. Note to self, the medium coffee is big, go for the small next time.

I love to go for coffee in the afternoon. Whilst we regularly visit Costa, it is not because we absolutely love it, but because there is not normally much else to choose from.

Best coffee and hot chocolate in ferndown they have a nice selection of toasters and cakes plenty of seating and outside seats great place for a break from shopping

Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food and drinks. Service always impeccable. Highly recommend the prawn cocktail, chicken pizza and spaghetti Bolognese.

Run by young people, nice position on the main street. Only downside is the pavement seating which tends to be overlooked - dirty tables, no ashtrays and rubbish on the ground. Shame as nice place to sit and people watch.
