We popped into No9 on the Green for a quick birthday treat as it said it had gluten free options available and with my wife being celiac, this is something that cafes don’t always cater for. As soon as we went inside we were welcomed by the staff who let us pick our table and very quickly took our order. 2 cream teas, with a huge pot of tea, arrived and the scones were warm and the cream and jam was plentiful. The gluten free scone was amazing and very tasty. I can honestly say it was one of the best cream teas we have ever had and the recommendation of the apple cake was also outstanding. The staff were great, very friendly and went the extra mile to make the experience pleasant and relaxing. We will definitely be back again as there were so many good looking cakes that will need tasting with a cup of tea.

Lovely place and fast and friendly service, the food was ok and simple but tasty, they had plenty vegan , vegetarian and non gluten (bread) options with the sandwiches offered and the coffee and Chai latte (vegan) were really good. We were sitting outside under the tree and we had worms coming down from the top of the tree on the table, that was really upsetting and so unfortunately we left. In terms of the food and service it's great but the tree needs to be professionally treated.

Small independent coffee/tea shop, plus bakery with good range of fresh "home made" cakes, pastries and savoury products. At peak times, in a small unit, there may be a short delay in service but well worth being patient, with friendly & efficient staff. Super view of the Minster, directly opposite! Will certainly return on any future visit.

Great little Café/Bakery on the edge of the green by Wimborne Minster. Plenty of seating outside overlooking the green with umbrellas. Really friendly and welcoming staff and also pay lots of love and attention to our dog! There is also an ice cream kiosk serving local ice cream, sorbets and even ice cream for dogs! Highly recommend their coffee and also their sausage rolls! Personally the coffee tastes better than your big chain coffee shops like costa. Overall a great little place to get a bite to eat or grab a coffee!

This visit made my whole week. We’re on holiday in Dorset and fed up with only deep fried options. Popped in to 9 on the Green for tea and hot chocolate and ended up having smashed avocado, tomato salsa and feta on gluten free bread. I have struggled all week to find good fresh food with gluten free option. This was superb. Staff were wonderful. I would definitely visit again.

We stopped into the bakery during a recent trip to Wimborne. It is such an ideal spot to take a break and relax right in the heart of Wimborne - the perfect setting next to the Minster. The coffee is one of the best around (way better than any chain cafe!) plus a great selection of cakes and savory snacks - something for the whole family. The staff were really friendly and helpful (which is always handy if the kids are unwinding 😂 )! We will definitely be back!

We stopped here after finishing some afternoon shopping in the town. We ordered 3 ice creams (nice but very over priced) followed by a flat white and Americano coffee. When they arrived the Americano (black) was very pale in colour and any taste it did have was awful. I was almost certain it was instant, then upon viewing the flat white white I was presented with a tall cup half filled again with with what could only he described as instant coffee, and a load of over frothed milk filling the rest of the cup. (This is not how a flat white should be at all.) It also tasted awful. We called the girl over to express our concerns and she seemed startled that we had said we are certain it was instant from the kettle. She scurried away without much of an answer. We tried the coffee again and we just could except it. So we took the coffee into the shop to hopefully receive a refund. We were greeted by a different girl although equally as arrogant who just shrugged us off without so much as an apology let alone refund.. we noticed they were clearing chairs away so can only assume they were closing soon so didn't want to be held up by our complaint. She told us if we didn't like it they go and find the owner of the business who was a few doors down in the main cafe and take it up with her. So rude! We would like to support the local small businesses in this already competitive town but when service and produce is presented like this its hard to find compassion. Very disappointed.

It took a while to get served as the waitress was on the phone and didn't engage eye contact for a good while and I nearly left. The waitress was perfunctory rather than friendly. Even though the cafe seating area outside wasn't full, most of the tables were dirty and full of previously used plates and cups. The outside seating area is right next to the public toilet block. Flies and ants surround you whilst trying to eat. And finally, a cheese sandwich and a cup of tea cost over £10. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Popped in for some lunch as visiting the area thought be nice to sit outside. Ordered two sandwiches one was on the specials but when I asked the lady for it she said she would have to go upstairs or phone the order through as the toastie maker was upstairs and she couldn't leave the shop I told her not to worry as I felt uncomfortable then and ordered a cold filling sandwich instead. I knew the sandwiches were made by hand but it took a while so I waited and I told the lady not to bother wrapping them up and she asked my why and I told her because we plan to eat them outside and I had ordered what I thought was a pot of tea but a weak tea in a paper cup with too much milk I threw it away it was so bad I got a stunned reaction when I asked her to leave the bag in and told it was extra to eat outside but she would pretend I didn't tell her that. If I was given the option I wouldn't have minded paying more but I am glad I didn't the welcome was as cold as the the weather and to be honest if your looking for lunch go to a cafe in the Square, seem to have more staff and more friendly as this place was understaffed the focus on the restaurant two doors down with the same name. Popped into the bakery for the first time to try a takeaway sandwich. £4.65 got me a white bread prawn cocktail, avocado and cucumber sandwich. Unwrapped it at my desk to find no cucumber and the prawns were warm presumably from being defrosted. I don't think I'm unreasonable to expect slightly better when paying over the odds for a sandwich! I'm afraid with plenty more sandwich takeaways in the town they have lost my custom permanently

We were great fans of No 9, we very soon realised that it would be unfair to compare 9 On the Green with the former. To start with the premises are "cottagy" and small, the menu limited, and although the food is acceptable much is pre cooked and reheated. The staff seemed a little out of their depth and it just didn't feel like a place you wanted to spend to much time in.

I have visited this establishment a number of times, I think the first time I visited I must of been very lucky as they had some Vegan style onion/potato bahji which was absolutely delicious......however since that first visit they have never had these on offer again, each time I have returned and enquired as to their bahji's or any other vegan products I have been advised that they didn't have any at the mo' but the plan was to offer a vegan line in the future, however at each of these visits I have been offered a suitable sandwich which at the time I just had not fancied. Today however I thought I'd give them a go, normally the fillings would include avocado but as luck would have it they had run out of this item.......not to be disheartened the person who was serving me did put together what she described as not just a vegan sandwich but a 'very vegan' sandwich (including hummus, pesto, sun dried tomatoes, & carrots), which it turned out was very tasty, and for just £3.50 I think I'll be back even if they don't have the bahji's anymore........definitely worth a visit.

Ridiculously expensive for small portions. £3 for half a sausage roll, small cake slices ranging from £2.70 upwards then they charge you extra just to sit outside - if you can find somewhere amongst the limited seating with tables that haven't been cleared on a quiet day! small range of expensive drinks too. Young staff serving that don't seem to have a clue what they're doing. I'd recommend going to Aroma round the corner on the high street. Cheerier staff, cheaper prices, bigger servings and no extra charge for eating in (or outside).

We popped by to get my three children an ice cream. They serve New Forest ice cream which is a favourite of ours. Although the two young lads serving were polite, the portion size they served was quite frankly disgusting. I wasn't expecting a lot for a childs scoop but they served up a hollow scoop that could easily have been eaten in two gulps.
