The Tea Room & Garden at the Museum of East Dorset (MED) in Wimborne Minster is a beautiful spot for light refreshments - both hot and cold. The Tea Room is connected to the beautiful garden of the museum and, thus, victors can, in the warm weather, be seated in the outside patio area to enjoy their drinks and snacks whilst experiencing the aesthetically glorious garden. The MED Tea Room also has a light inside dining area which has lovely views across the garden due to the big windows. The staff is comprised of volunteers who are friendly and welcoming; refreshments are ordered at the café and served to your table. The Tea Room and toilets are very clean and the menu includes a very reasonable charge for food and drink. The Tea Room and garden are accessible for all visitors and there is a disabled bathroom. The walled garden is a location for everyone (of all abilities and ages) to enjoy, play, relax and explore.

I've written a review for this place before but I'll do it again as it's an absolutely fantastic tea room and cafe. Lovely gardens and extremely polite and friendly staff. No fault can be found.

This is a beautiful building in the old style. The staff are nearly always very helpful and friendly. We normally have a couple of coffees and share a toasted tea cake with butter and jam. We think this is very good value at £7.50. There is also a lovely walled garden to walk round and seasonally there are often runner beans and other vegetables on sale.

Lovely little place, hidden away in the centre of Wimborne. Unfortunately, there was only one young lady staffing the place on her own. However, she was absolutely lovely, and totally on top of everything. No variety of special coffees, but everything was nice, at very reasonable prices.

Lovely cafe with awesome flapjack and shortbread. My wife was also very impressed with the hot chocolate. Great atmosphere and service made it perfect for a quick stop

I’ve been a regular customer at Gulliver’s Farm Shop for quite some time, and it’s been wonderful to watch it grow and evolve. They offer a delightful menu featuring biodynamic food straight from their farm, and the quality of the food is outstanding, especially for the price. One of the highlights for us is that when an adult orders a meal, children's meals are just £1 – a fantastic value for families! What makes Gulliver's even more special is their commitment to employing individuals with disabilities, providing meaningful support and opportunities to adults with varying needs. It feels great to support such a worthy cause while enjoying a meal. The play area is perfect for kids to run around, and the play trail is a lovely addition after a meal. I highly recommend Gulliver’s Farm Shop to friends and will continue to do so."

Over priced modern furniture. Great for retirement and care home type furniture. What let's this store down is the staff aptitude. The store closed at 5pm, which is fine, a little unexpected on a Saturday, however actually turning the lights off and saying the staff have gone home at 5pm sharp, I mean to the second is an odd reflection on their management there. All customers actually escorted from the building and told we are open tomorrow. I mean WOW. Just imagine the level of support you might get if you actually buy something there and need help with it. All the good reviews were probably customers who were shopping during the day while the staff had to do their job! This is just our personal experience.
