The Tea Room & Garden at the Museum of East Dorset (MED) in Wimborne Minster is a beautiful spot for light refreshments - both hot and cold. The Tea Room is connected to the beautiful garden of the museum and, thus, victors can, in the warm weather, be seated in the outside patio area to enjoy their drinks and snacks whilst experiencing the aesthetically glorious garden. The MED Tea Room also has a light inside dining area which has lovely views across the garden due to the big windows. The staff is comprised of volunteers who are friendly and welcoming; refreshments are ordered at the café and served to your table. The Tea Room and toilets are very clean and the menu includes a very reasonable charge for food and drink. The Tea Room and garden are accessible for all visitors and there is a disabled bathroom. The walled garden is a location for everyone (of all abilities and ages) to enjoy, play, relax and explore.

I've written a review for this place before but I'll do it again as it's an absolutely fantastic tea room and cafe. Lovely gardens and extremely polite and friendly staff. No fault can be found.

This is a beautiful building in the old style. The staff are nearly always very helpful and friendly. We normally have a couple of coffees and share a toasted tea cake with butter and jam. We think this is very good value at £7.50. There is also a lovely walled garden to walk round and seasonally there are often runner beans and other vegetables on sale.

Lovely little place, hidden away in the centre of Wimborne. Unfortunately, there was only one young lady staffing the place on her own. However, she was absolutely lovely, and totally on top of everything. No variety of special coffees, but everything was nice, at very reasonable prices.

We have eaten here numerous times and have never been disappointed. On this occasion my husband ordered Welsh rarebit with an egg on top. The portion that arrived was really small. A thin slice of bread that looked insignificant on the plate which had been filled up with lettuce leaves. This seemed such poor value and anyone looking at it would have said where's the rest. On this occasion poor value, the portion seemed very mean.

On the way back home we got hungry was looking for a cafe along our 3hr journey route and came across this one, food was lovely, portions were large, staff friendly and seem to enjoy being there and although prices slightly higher would defo recommend. Eggs benedict needs to be added on your menu not specials it was best one I've ever had 😋

We love everything about this pub. It's second generation, good real and craft ales. Fairly priced and the food is Wow, genuinely homemade. Live music on Wednesdays. Old school opening hours so check first.

Loved this place. The Bang Bang cauliflower special was delicious (everything else was too but that was my favourite). Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. The nearby piglets, goats and hens are an additional attraction for youngsters and animal lovers.
